Why didn’t they promote this one???
This is so underrated series ! the plot moves fast because it’s like 15-20 min per episode. The casts were fantastic! Chemistry between the ml and fml were awesome. I didn’t mean to watch this because I didn’t hear anything about it but for whatever reason I decided to see what was all about. Then before I know it I couldn’t stop and had to force myself to actually go to bed. The ending was a bit confusing. So the whole thing was her dream? It was like dreams within dream. All over the place - too many characters
I like the ML and FL but come on.. this is all over the place there is a merfolk .. a somewhat dying whit hair crown prince and a prince whose mother belong to this powerful tribe.. just too many stories.. and FL kept encountering difficulties yet managed to come out on top.. aside that I like the more grown up flirting they have between the ml and fl which is rare in c drama.. I am like 3/4 way to the series and still don’t know what the merfolk and the now cured white hair crown prince’s story are.. and now We have all of sudden and snake Ten( the maid)?. Really?. So close of dropping it but since I already spent too much time investing in this might as well finish it.Was this review helpful to you?

So messy
As much as I like XZL but boy oh boy I have a hard time with this drama. The story line is not good. So FL took advantage of the ML then 2nd ML took advantage of the FL. Then there are so many misunderstandings like, come on! usually for C drama around mid-series you have a big misunderstanding and that is it. This one it is like almost every other episode. And omg that damn bird ! The FL lead was portrayed to be smart but she ate up all the thing the damn bird said? I mean common sense did not kick in that the bird only took part of the conversation. I only like the casts and I definitely don't like the story line. I might need to take several adult beverages in order to finish this drama. It is so aggravating.
