Kim Kardashians butt

Story- The story centered around a girl who got plastic surgery without both parents approval because she thought she was not beautiful. First of all, they wouldńt even show her actual face before the surgery so the watchers have nothing to conclude other than the fact she got plastic surgery because she was bullied. Even when she does get the surgery she still gets bullied and is unhappy so then it´s just frustrating watching her be so unconfident about something she so confidently wanted. Her overall character was just her being sad throughout the whole show and not showing much growth. The personalities of both the characters may have been why the chemistry felt so bad or maybe even the dialogue, but either way the romance aspect was so bland, which made it so hard not to drop the show.

Acting- The acting was not it, the producers should have checked the chemistry between the leads. Even with a bad dialogue or clashing personalities I should still at least feel something between the actors but I just did´nt.

Music- I honestly don´t rember the music, if I ever rewatch I´ll change my rating.

Rewatch value- Not rewatchable at all.

Melodrama or bad writing

I will be completely honest with you, I hated this drama! Since so many people hyped it up I expected too much from this drama. Sadly, I was disappointed.

I´ll start by highlighting the good points of this drama, the actors, and the music. The cast was picked perfectly for the roles they played. The director was able to get the characters perfectly aligned with the actors who should play them. Down to Moon Young's mischievous eyes and Ji Kangs bright silly smile. You couldn´t ask for a more perfect cast!! The music is another thing that was great, it did a good job of queuing you when an important scene was coming. The music was picked perfectly and there weren't any unnecessary songs that didńt match with the scenes.

Now onto the bad part, the plot. I'd like to say the plot had a good pace but there were so many different parts of the plot that were rushed. We start out thinking this is just going to be a murder mystery about a college girl and whether not the male lead is actually the perpetrator. Then we end up getting swept away by the main leads forgotten yet recurring trauma. Then what seemed to be the main plot is forgotten. Then we get introduced to a new character that we think will be a threat but turns out to be helpful and their so-called ill intentions never end up being acted upon. Ultimately creating a bunch of plot holes and dumb decisions that could have easily been solved. If you like melodramas/soap operas you´ll most likely like this drama and will dismiss the illogical events and plot holes that occur, but to those who seek a plot with reasoning and meaningful messages don´t waste your time!

Multiple great messages learned from watching this masterpiece

Story- The overall story was absolutely amazing! The story explaining how Ko moon Young and Moon Gang Tae first met draws you in and creates a good pathway for the romantic plot of their story to keep progressing. Gang Tae and Sang Taeś story is something that can make a grown man come to tears. Gang Tae has to grow up fast and takeover the older brother role, which really makes the watchers relate and feel for Gang Tae as a character. While some may find it hard to feel for Sang Tae at the start, there is no possibility but to come to love his character as the story progresses. Some people may say that Ko Moon Young needed to ¨face her problems¨, I find that her living together with Sang Tae and Gang Tae was a sort of therapy for her. There cohabilitation was a cure for her loneliness and was a learning experience for her outbursts.

Cast- Seo Yea Ji was a perfect fit for Ko Moon Young. Her facial structure really emphazed Ko Moon Youngs emotions and she fit the ¨I always get what I want¨ type very well, I dont think the show would have been the same without her as Ko Moon Young. Oh Jung Se deserves an award for his acting as Sang Tae. I almost believed that the actor was actually on the Autism spectrum because I thought he played his role so well (I have never personally seen someone with autism, nor will I claim to). Kim Soo hyun played the role of a big brother very well. His acting when he tried hiding his anger and when he was actually angry felt so real, and his chemistry with Seo Yea Ji was great!

Music- I have watched many dramas with absolutely terrible music. Many dramas seemed like they were using the same song as all the other popular dramas and the music fade would always be terrible. But the music in this show was refreshing and original. The music fade was great especially during the ¨I said I love you¨ scenes.

Personal opinion- Though Moon Young played her way into Sang Tae and Gang Tae´s life, Gang Tae wanted to be with her, and Sang Tae obviously felt the need to help her. Sang Tae made his choice to be with her knowning her intentions, (having him) which she made eztremely clear from the start of the show. If I did have one problem with this drama it would be how anticlimatic Ko Moon Youngs mothers story was at the end.
