I don't appreciate the stupid AI usage that SK keeps jumping on, but no way this is a 6, bombing it like that is just stupid. Rate for how much you enjoy it, simple as that.
Anyway, is it any good guys? I Can't really grasp what it's supposed to be about from the description alone loll
I powered through to the end despite the shows lack of direction and some really bad and nonsensical dialogue that made no sense, it's not worth it and you saved yourself the time by dropping it. I swear over 60% was written by AI and the rest of the plot (namely villian) that needed to make sense was written by a human. Even putting aside the complaints about certain characters being annoying, the script is a mess from a logical standpoint.
Upon a rewatch and I figured out what Sun Roks Love cell reminded me of for absolutely no reason. He's got that cool aura like Sonic lol And I also take back what I said before about skipping on the last episode because of how stupid Yumis decisions got, completely didn't remember part of it's plot. So maybe I'd just watch the good chunks - namely the first half to three quarters and skip her idiocy from there 💀
There's some new news now at the top comment, looks like no network would pick it up, so everyone's speculation…
Same here, it was the thing I was looking forward to the most out of possible new releases. I guess in the meantime I'll have to settle for rereading the Webtoon until it comes out 🥲 lol
Checking. Waiting. More waiting. Waiting waiting waiting. Give us updates! Free us from this misery!
There's some new news now at the top comment, looks like no network would pick it up, so everyone's speculation was correct. Super sad, hopefully something will grab it soon, but looks like they're shooting for 2027.
EP7 had funny moments but omgggg what was that roleplay date? I was cringing in the whole scene lol I usually…
The roleplay date was actually in the Webtoon and specifically about Sun Rok, he likes to roleplay lol
Introverts really do turn extroverted and childish when we're around the people we actually like, so I felt the representation and the way it was done was absolutely perfect.
This season is killing me. ML is 29 and portrayed as a 17-year-old virgin. FL is 38 again and acts like an old…
When did it ever say a Woman has to be married to have worth...? Absolutely nowhere. This is about YUMI, she's a romantic at heart and has always wanted to be with someone permanently but keeps getting her heart broken. She's also a successful writer. They also never said they got married after just one month, it's implied she postponed it a year or so.
I don't understand why nobody on here is watching/watched this in comparison to the other airing dramas and shows people have been anticipating. Is it only popular in Korea and not internationally or? I was surprised to see how low the numbers are.
I think episode 7 was the best episode in this season. It had tension, romance and felt complete. Episode 8 however…
Exactly, episode 7 was perfect and I was hoping the last one would be on the same track but it just wasn't. If I rewatched it I'd probably just leave it at episode 7 and forget about all the dumb decisions Yumi decided to make there at the end that felt like straight up rage bait at times.
My ending thought, I'm embarrassed to say it as a hardcore romance hater... this is getting a 9 from me 🤣😭 I'm usually not into this stuff but Yumi's cells is different. I've never seen a Bunggeopang fish kiss or a character straight up lick a battery in a Kdrama before LOL
Yeah it was rushed in a way and we all know why (e.g season 2 Mr scene stealer Babi 😂), but it was a wonderful ride nonetheless and Sun Rok was the best of them all, most relatable and the perfect match for her. I wish we got more scenes like episode 7 had though when they hung out at his house, I was happy they finally got time to be around each other for once but it got cut short by episode 8. They did give us long episodes though, which I'm thankful for, it was just frustrating hearing Yumi say she won't make the same mistakes with this relationship as she did with her others and then proceeds to do just that. She should be happy he even still stayed around being rejected twice already.
All in all, I'd 100% rewatch this and it would be just as enjoyable and cute as the first time!
I kept screaming at Yumi all throughout the last episode lol I wanted to see her actually accept the proposal or at least us see it... He definitely got the short end of the stick arc wise. The way his light just seeped out from his eyes... Felt bad for him all of the last episode, episode 7 was where the gold was.
I'm glad the rating is going up, I have to finish it at night, so 10 more hours until I can actually watch it, but I absolutely can't waittttt any longer it's driving me crazy!! lol
Let's pray they pull out the big guns these last two episodes!
On another note: I'm seriously surprised people were skeptical about the Kim Jae Won casting. I hadn't seen him in anything before but he's doing absolutely wonderful. I keep seeing clips of stuff he's been in on my feeds and stuff too now because of this and it never looked like he was bad at acting in the first place to be worried about here.
I've become more and more skeptical myself of actors people say can't act, because 9/10 they do just fine and I don't get it lol
A handful of reasons, but I can point out 2 main ones.Sun rok didn't get near as much time in the Webtoon as the…
On the website version of Mydramalist where it shows up near the comments section at the top, there's a thread where someone posted a handful of the scenes. It's around on the web as well if you look it up more than likely.
Scenes from season 1 like Yumi soothing Ungs stomach was actually a Sun Rok scene, Babi and Yumi having a sleep over on the couch and her wearing his clothes was also a Sun Rok scene etc.
Anyway, is it any good guys? I Can't really grasp what it's supposed to be about from the description alone loll
