there's prolly been ppl who have but it is also a rlly popular kdrama. if its not ur cup of tea don't feel bad…
It's because of the father/son relationship that's heartfelt, huge reason it's loved and the end really hits deep. You may not like it. that's totally okay, but I feel it's a show that gets better and better. Trusting the process type of thing.
Not enough romcom for what it's supposed to be. It's been absurd tragedy after tragedy. From your watchlist and…
Yeah, I've watched all of them up to date. (I've been reprimanded to drop the show a few times lol), but as I think I commented a bit ago, it's a love hate thing for me with this drama. I enjoyed episodes 3-4 and 9 the most (there were a few spots in-between of other episodes I did enjoy, but a very small amount), although not much of the rest. There isn't very much romance, nor comedy. Few and far between with little to no chemistry between the cast, even aside from romantic relationships. As much as I love both the leads in other dramas, they just don't go together here. They've focused a lot of screentime on making the ML the blame of everything and everyone's problems going on at the island, that there hasn't been time for a romance to blossom in the first place. It feels unbalanced and rushed in that aspect. If you're looking for a well rounded plot that'll keep you entertained with a swoon worthy romance to boot, this definitely isn't it unfortunately. I'll finish the show for sure, but it will probably get a very generous 7.5 from me, nothing more.
I haven't watched this yet, but is this really a romcom? Because the synopsis says otherwise.
Not enough romcom for what it's supposed to be. It's been absurd tragedy after tragedy. From your watchlist and seeing what else you've commented elsewhere about whether liking or not liking a drama, we seem to have some similar opinions and tastes, so if you're thinking about trying this out, I wouldn't recommend it haha It's quite bland and lacks reason. Not very consistent either, one episode will be good, then the next 2 will be almost unbearably boring.
At least you put a spoiler tag, nobody else is using them here. They totally could've chose not to read it. They were hating the show anyway so I don't know why they decided to be such a jerk to you lol
I had added this to my plan to watch list a while back, but i didn't realize Yeon Sang ho wrote some of it. I do not like any of his stuff at all besides train to busan and the other writer wrote Psychopath diary, which I love, but this is an odd combination of writers lol
Was it worth it? I see some writing complaints, if anyone would love to give their overall opinion on it I'd 100% appreciate it. From the sound of it, they kdramafied a Jdrama and added in their typical pointless and idiotic cop/reporter characters?
People are raving in the comments, why the scores are so low? It doesn't deliver in the end?
No it does deliver. There's probably some trolls because *kind of spoiler alert* there's a scene where Choi Hyun Wook kisses/makes out with a woman 30 years older than him, so they're rating it low without using rational thought.
The nerve that woman has to ask him to come with her after what she did to him years ago about a complete accidental death. I support Ji Uis imaginary villian arc at this point. Go scorched earth my friend, you have my permission.
Also - Didn't Ha Ri call the emergency rescue people and they told her all they had was a helicopter? The accident somehow got pinned on him..? That didn't make any sense. All she did was call for help and they made their way out and now he's all of a sudden blamed for it crashing.
Link to the official Webtoon so the creator gets their due money from the ads watched and coins spent on their work.
Hopefully that helps!

This show is perfect through and through, but there's some trolls for sure, and also not many people watching it because it seems like a niché genre for kdrama watchers.

I don't think logic exists much in this drama lol
