Yeah, sadly I can't answer any of these questions either myself because the writing is so incoherent 😭 good graphics do not make up for the story not making sense.

They made the Main character not important by allowing her to be able to do everything he can - he's not special anymore because I too thought he was going to be the only one able to have these abilities, this show is frustrating logic upon frustrating logic.

Watch them all, you won't understand how the cells work or anything about her personality. Sun Roks arc in the Webtoon was short and they already gave a lot of his scenes to the other previous guys (series makers screwed up a bit and didn't plan this season), so it felt like they tried to stuff as much about him as they could into 8 episodes, you won't know much about Yumi here because the focus is on him (which I loved personally, but you have to know the rest to truly enjoy this season to the fullest). It's my favorite season, though it makes it even more enjoyable knowing the journey here.

Did I mention there's a lot of mirrored scenes from previous events in other seasons that make it even more special? Those were my favorite moments, so definitely don't miss out on the whole and skip to this season without previous context.

Ah I see what happened, I must've misunderstood which child had what name. I did try to research online, but the show was so new I couldn't find any articles on who played what role and went off of what I watched. I think I got their names mixed up 😭 thank you for the information! Haha

This needs to be longer 😭 one of the very few things I wanted multiple seasons of with the same cast. I can see why the Webtoon ran so long, this is absolutely hilarious!! Don't like the art style of the Webtoon and it was hard to tell what was going on, but I find the show very enjoyable. Don't hesitate and give it a watch.

The Actor for Kay looks like a young Kim Young Kwang.

Kim Ha eon plays Prince Yeongan but I don't know how someone's entry for Eunuch was approved when mine wasn't? lol Did I get the name wrong? But a kid like that can't be a Eunuch so idk what Mdl is approving these days 😭 someone help 💀

Yeah sadly, we know a thing or two about the Mls backstory but not enough or very much. We know a whole ton about the FL because the story is only about her basically. The very last episode and maybe the first one is where he has the most screentime, but it's not enough for an 8 episode series. If it was marketed as being about her and the main character I would have no issues, but they lied and purposely showed him in the teasers and as the main main character, only to bait and switch in the drama itself.

This is honestly dishonest marketing that I really don't appreciate when the main character is absent almost 80% of the time. If you're here for what the trailer and teasers showed, you're in for disappointment.

Save your time and go watch something like Sweet Home, The Guest or Kingdom for this kind of thing instead. Or for an actually good 2026 show that's finished, Notes from the last row.

Yeah, sadly it doesn't seem she's improved any. Not to be rude or anything, but this is my first project seeing her and I'd never watch another show where she has a large role again if I had the choice.

It's not good. Don't be fooled by the good comments to be honest. The ML is a support role and the FL took all the screentime, and the actress can't act. I'm actually quite ticked at how they marketed the show, because it's a complete lie of what we actually got. At least don't lie about who the show revolves around 😭 save yourself.

That's definitely true, Netflix probably cut so much of the story out and ruined the drama.

Feel free to skip over my comment if you disagree, because there's no use in arguing with my opinion and I know the majority will disagree as is lol but I'm already halfway through and almost the ENTIRE story is about the FL, or has to do with her in some way and he's just there to carry out everyone else's wishes, whilst having very little screentime for himself besides nothing burger fighting scenes. Why is he on the cover, in the trailer and considered the main character everywhere but not actually inside the show? He's just a vessel for everyone else's grudges, a punching bag for them, it all revolves around other characters. He clearly shouldn't have been advertised as the lead, it's just the fl complaining at him 24/7 so far, and she's had the majority of screentime that you would've thought she was THE main main character. It can't redeem itself in 4 episodes.

The show feels like they made 16 episodes worth of story and had to cut it down to 8. The editing keeps jumping back and forth all over, as if something important was cut often.

Maybe I'll finish it someday, but I'm dropping it right now. I had hopes because it was The Guests writers, but this one isn't giving anything at all.
