Title Dazzling
How did this drama achieve a rating above 8 on MDL when the top two reviewers rated it around 7.3?
It's Chinese

Title Dazzling
Story has so much potential. I get that it's slow burn but I was still hoping for swoon-worthy chemistry when…
The lack of chemistry is one of the biggest problems with this show, and one of the reasons why I finally gave up and ended up dropping it.

Title Dazzling
I ended up dropping this one about halfway through. It starts out as a somewhat intriguing and amusing story about a spoiled rich girl trying to adjust to living in a small town, but quickly bogs down as it becomes very repetitive. The romance hasn't gone anywhere, with little promise that if will amount to much given the distinct lack of chemistry between the leads. Yet another example of a c-drama that is grossly overrated on MDL (if this were Japanese, it wouldn't even get a 7.0, and if it were Korean, it would be lucky to get a 7.5.)

It's so OBVIOUS that ALL of these so-called 'reality dating shows' are manipulated, scripted and controlled by…
I found this to be by far the best season of Single's Inferno, but completely agree that My Sibling's Romance is still better. It's about as real as it gets in these kinds of shows. Just adding the siblings naturally created enough drama and good storylines that the producers didn't have to interfere as much as usual.

tbf the japanese are also struggling with marriage and birth rates for a few reasons which one of them is included…
It's true that this affects most of the more developed countries worldwide simply because the economics of a modern post-industrial urban economy discourage having lots of kids. But its much worse in Korea where the birthrate is less than half of what it is where I live (in Latin America) or in countries like the U.S, and Canada. Of course, because of laws and social norms here that are very different than Korea's, women here are able to aspire to marriage, motherhood, and a career, without having to sacrifice any of them. It's just that they tend to only have 1 or 2 kids instead of 5 or 6 like their grandmothers. I've met several Korean women over the years both here where I live and in Canada (including two who married into my extended family). They all say they can't believe how much better off women have it in these countries compared to back in Korea.

What do you mean by "own women doesn’t want them"?
4B is a tiny extremist minority. But its true that according to polls a significant number of young Korean women have no interest in marrying Korean men and they have some good reasons for feeling this way. In any case, I don't think that has anything to do with this drama.

I'm trying to figure out why Seo Su Min is classified as having a Support Role when she is not only absolutely central to the plot, but has as much or more screentime (so far) than many of those with Main Roles. She's been great and deserves the recognition.

I will give you some recommendations of the ones I have watched.Share more in the comments:Korean per airing years:Exchange/Transit…
Agree particularly when it comes to EXchange (particularly S2) and Offline Love. The Korean Heart Signal S2 was fine, but not up to the level of these. Beware that while The Future Diary S1 may have also been fine, S2 is a complete disaster. Another one I really liked was the original Korean version of My Sibling's Romance, for which I understand a S2 is on the way (the Chinese version of this show is far inferior and not worth it).

On Heart Signal Season 6 17 days ago
One of the best seasons of a dating reality show I've watched in recent years. I'm still not a big fan of this Heart Signal format, particularly the Chinese version with its over the top ridiculous product placement and all that constant screaming from the panel. But this season benefited greatly from one of the best casts I can remember from any of these shows. They did a great job of picking a group of attractive likeable people who mostly seem to be in it for the right reasons, resulting in a number of couples you can really root for and no one I truly disliked.

Best drama 2026 till now
Seriously. I'm still a couple of episodes behind, but so far this does have the potential to be my favorite for the year. I just hope it doesn't drop off later in the season as so many other kdramas (and cdramas) have this year.

On EXchange Season 4 Jun 27, 2026
Just finished this season and I have to say that (1) EXchange remains one of my favourite reality dating shows, even if each season inevitably tends to drag towards the end, and (2) this season was a major improvement over Season 3, though Season 2 remains my favourite. While there was a lot of drama, I felt that at least much of the emotion felt quite genuine (these people aren't good enough actors for it not to be). Most of all, I liked all the final couples - even the one that came together after the show ended. I hope we get a Season 5.

It seems like this film is going to to be picked up by Netflix - at least in some regions. I highly recommend watching it.

On Heart Signal Season 5 Jun 1, 2026
I liked this season much better than S2 (the only other one I've watched). I think it's mostly because I liked this cast much better, both as individuals and the couples that ended up together. But the over-the-top product placement was just as annoying and remains a major negative compared to the original Korean Heart Signal.

Title Fell upon Me
I was really enjoying this series until it kind of went off the rails towards the end (from reading these comments, I take it this was due to censorship?). I was particularly impressed by Yin Rui as the FL. I'll be looking for her in other shows. It does remind me a bit of 12 Letters, though it isn't nearly at tightly written.
