rewatching it over and over again. THE UNTAMED is surely one of my favorite comfort films, the last few episodes satisfies me enough knowing that Wei Ying was proven innocence. I just wish for a second season, please make this dream of mine came true, my dear Chinese people.
I'm a big fan of Gu Hai from Addicted & Wei Ying from The Untamed. But setting aside the cast, did this show was something worth to watch? I'm hesitant to binge-watch this one. Any comments?
• I guess the title of the show "Bad Buddy" was really for Wai. He didn't deserve to be a friend of Pran. I understand his hatred and feeling of being betrayed but he's action was too much, exposing them in public wasn't something a real friend will do. • The product placement of the show was well executed, not making it too cringe compare to other Thai shows that I've seen. • The way they explicit the phrases such as "I don't like men, I just like you." & calling each other as "husband and wife" was really a shade for those typical BL who thinks that romanticizing these norms will make the scene extra special.
The only thing I feel about this season is an absolute boredness. Same old cliché storytelling, with nothing…
Mark & Kit are the only couple worthy of my time to watched, the rest are either lame or dull. S1 is bearable to watch simply because KimCop has a great chemistry and both of them are the main character. However, S2 wasn’t even close on making me feel entertained.
EP08 was a great episode to emphasize the importance of having a comfortable circle who can be called as "My HOME." Family can be anyone that shares love and affection towards each other. Family is not limited by blood, it has something to do with bond. Krating being scared to bid farewell to his newly found family is normal, he had his reasons and sad reality. But gratefully after leaving the Boxing Academy, he has another place for gaining source of his strength, the Sweet Day. Punn, Weir, Pooh, his Coach, and even Mone are always beside him, always cheering for his life.
Lee Thanat really fits a role in a BL show, give him some more! A real BL to be exact. Kratile being fragile to any delicious sweets/dessert is such a cutie.
The story of Pooh's daughter and how he became a good father is overwhelming yet I hate to admit but I do feel a little bit boring while watching the episode. But the heartwarming father-and-daughter talk was so comforting to hear even though I didn't came from a broken family. Anyways, the additional character entry was an exciting one. Waiting to see how the rivalry between Weir's ex-lover and Punn, the recent boss of Weir, will going to be.
I love the lovey dovey moments of Krating and Weird Uncle on this episode, I ship them hahahaha. Plus, an episode of Baker Boy will never be complete without Weir flirting with his boss. Cuties!
The way they look at each other, the delivery of every lines, the gestures and facial expressions, the two of them consistently showing natural acting and high level chemistry are the reason why I keep loving every single episode of the show. Great job as always, Nanon & Ohm!!
