Its alright for people to get confused, because the story is opening step by step and there are just so many characters we cant really differentiate. but having read the novel (please note , twice or thrice to understand these plots) its easy for some watchers. even then we get confused at times because i believe a few characters are being merged.

thats true, they were drugged but she never wanted to be confined it was only because her parents sold her to him that she was stuck there. he could have let her go but he found out she was pregnant so he kept her there. she tried to escape but that very day he was drowning so she saved him oblivious of his true identity. then he let her go but he got to know she was the pregnant woman so he caught her then imprisoned her though in a nice environment but even after knowing the man she saved was the guy who she was pregnant with she didnt give him any reactions and it kind of irked him until she escaped and for 6 years he was searching her. it was not that he wanted the child he wanted this woman who was treating him like a human for the first time and whose touch didnt irk him but she wanted nothing from him. the story is okay until the present when he kidnaps her, tells her he would kill the child if she doesnt reciprocate his affection or whatever it is, then forces himself and thats when it all turns dark. she doesnt want any man, she doenst want to irk him she just loves her freedom. hope it helps to explain why novel readers dont want to attach to this couple becayuse eventually it is dark and so sad. i really hope they show his past the way we read and the way we felt how they could have met in better circumstances and he could have understood her better.
