I remember when I first started watching Thai BL’s the weird sound effects were really off putting. I assumed it was just a Thai / Asian thing as I had nothing to compare it to.
Other shows seemed to have toned it down a bit but I agree with others, they are a bit much so far in this series.
BUT I loved the first episode. Loving the Gene character, and have been eagerly waiting to see Kao in another series and he definitely isn’t disappointing so far.
I love the storyline. Kind of looking at the whole BL industry from another angle. Clever idea.
I’m trying so hard to stick with this but I have admit 3 episodes in I’m so confused with how many clans there are.
I know it has amazing reviews but 50 episodes is a lot of time to dedicate.
Is it worth pursuing or will I just get more confused? Doesn’t help all the names sound the same too. I’m constantly looking up the actors characters as some play multiply people.
Second series this week I have watched where the 2nd male lead didn’t really get the happy ending they deserved. Another great character that didn’t get love in the end :(
Time for Gulf to finally have a different series. Don’t get me wrong I love TT but it’s all he’s played his whole acting career pretty much. I want to see what else he can do.
Don't know what the hype is about. It wasn't that special. Just average. Clichés everywhere, as expected. Personally,…
I completely agree about the heartbreaking love triangle. I was bawling my eyes out for both guys at different points. I at least wish the losing guy had time to find someone and be happy too. That’s a lot is years to be in love with someone you can’t have.
It bothers me how ridiculously fast everyone recovers in this show like someone will get hit by a bus and 2 days…
You should watch “Tien Bromance” then. They are basically at deaths door every episode but magically are fine the next day. Awesome Viet BL that isn’t listed on this page.
It seems second seasons of all the great shows seem to be a lot less interesting. I don’t know if it’s because they just put it together for the fans, because yes we do love the couples, but every show seems to miss the mark with the second season.
I was wary of Manner of Death in that a previous couple from another series could actually work as different characters. I feel differently now. They have pulled that off wonderfully and you don’t feel like your watching knock and Korn.
Maybe studios need to rethink the second series for the sake of it and create new shows for the same actors. Is proven it can work.
I know. How devastating. Not sure where I saw it. But there were pictures of them together with my engineer posters behind them. If I see it again I’ll say where.
Well from what I’ve read below people are saying it’s a vote for who Wayu ends up with. This annoys me because fans aren’t invested in Pha at all. We only saw him at the end.
Personally I want Thanu and Phai together.
This show started well. Mid way got boring and messy.

Hope it keeps being good.
It is beautiful to watch though.
Thanks for replying :)

But I still loved the series.
Binge watching is definitely much more satisfying, but I’m impatient. Especially for my favourite shows.
I might watch week by week then the last week rewatch the rest again.
I’m not after full spoiler just a yes or no. Does this have a happy ending? But please put it as a spoiler so as not to ruin it for others. Thank you.

Was devastated the other day when I read KaoSaint were possible chances for the roles of Bohn and Duen that would have blown my mind lol.
