Kind reminder that the show is set to follow the novel mostly, which means it's highly likely to have a HE since…
I’ve watched a round trip to love many times years ago. Could you please let me know if the book ending is the same as that movie. In that Lu Fengs helicopter went down while Chi Cheng was in a hospital bed. Such a sad ending.
I can’t really explain what I just watched. Was I on acid or was the director 😂. I did love it though. Literally laughing out loud at the absurd comedy which should have been really cringe but it worked somehow. I loved the whole cast.
I agree with others they shouldn’t have bothered trying to hint at romance. It wasn’t needed, wasn’t in the tags, and there wasn’t enough time in 8 episodes to really believe it could happen. I usually want romance in everything I watch, but this one didn’t really need it. The relationships between them all was what carried this.
I will say this. Korean dramas do gore far too well. I can handle Americans shooting everyone in every movie or series, but Koreans get real with the violence, blood & gore. It’s often too much for me, Especially if torture is involved which basically the children that were experimented on were.
I miss out on a lot of good kdramas because I can’t handle how real they make the violence. It’s a credit to their craft. From the director to stunt people and special effects. They are a class above every one else.
I liked this was 8 episodes too because it kept a great pace up without getting boring or missing anything important. I hope there will be a series 2. Just to experience that unique storytelling.
I watched season 1 only a few weeks ago for the first time. That was a complete hot mess with extra mess 😂 Thought I’d never want to see Boston again.
I was surprised this season was a lot better. There was still conflict and betrayal but nowhere near as bad as season 1. I also smiled when I saw Boston oddly enough.
Mix is one of those actors that just has that something special. I’m sure there are plenty of others but Mix, Khaotung and War are actors that make you feel everything they act. Their eyes alone tell the story.
I really enjoyed this season. And Joss speaking English was the chefs kiss 🔥
Just finished this and overall it was a nice short Bl.
I really enjoyed episodes 1-4 (binged in one sitting) however episodes 5-7 really annoyed me about the many, many miscommunications between the lead couple. Thankfully ended it nicely on episode 8. I don’t think they needed to hint at a second couple.
I think the prolonged nudity tag is a bit of a stretch. I’ve seen far more skin in Thai bl’s. Also I don’t think calling the male lead cold was accurate in the description either.
What I really liked was that the basketball jock wasn’t the typical lead where the thought of falling for a guy was gross. He naturally fell for him and didn’t question it at all. And finally nice to see someone being careful with their partners first time. Their love scene felt special and not just there for views.
So I’m only up to the 2nd episode. I see all the great reviews but I’m finding it very cringe worthy already. Is this the way it stays the whole series or does it get more depth.?
I understand sometimes people want an easy, lighthearted watch. I’m wondering if this may be too fluffy for me. Anyone else started it and not really liking it, and then got into it? I’ve enjoyed the actors in their other series. TIA
I pushed through and just finished this series. It’s not that it was exactly bad but it was so slow. Especially in the middle. I’ve never watched shows on faster speed, but I think this one i should have.
The sunflower song was lovely but played way too many times. I like the GL pairing and I liked Book.
As someone who enjoyed JaFirsts chemistry, I’m not sure these 2 are there yet. It wasn’t terrible but I don’t feel Ja shows much range. He’s definitely nice to look at, and perhaps it’s just the script but compared to all the new pairings of the last year or 2 he hasn’t improved to their level yet. Again it may be a character, writer or directors choice.
I didn’t feel much during their kiss scenes so I’m not sure whose fault that is. People behind the camera or the actors? The 3rd episode before the end was probably the most interesting. The last episode they were just throwing kissing scenes here and there.
Looking forward to some much better BLs coming out this year.

Not going to lie, excited to see Earth, Mix, Joss and Gawin as the leads
I like Neo as an actor but not looking forward to seeing Boston again.
