yeah,I have the same opinion with you,I was skeptical about Bao Shang En acting.In some scenes she can act but if it's with more dramatic scenes like an outburst scenes and sad scenes she can't pull it off,that's why I dropped Youthful of Glory because of her acting.

Watched the show and got confused badly for 8 episodes then it got interesting after the ML showed his identity.The dynamic between the leads were refreshing for me because I have never seen so much red flags between these two, especially the ML,he was manipulative untill the end and honestly that's what makes me really loved his character.The FL was righteous but she was also realistic about her situations and because of that she is becoming one of my favorite FL in cdrama.I always skip the fights scene in drama because they sometimes lacks the power to hold those scenes but in here it's pure classic wuxia style choreography and the actress can actually pulled it off!.The story sticks through with the title,it was a story of generation to generation but the villain for me was kinda weak and doesn't makes sense to me but overall if you liked toxics leads then this one is for you.Shout out to the supporting characters that gave me a laugh till the end.

I didn't expect anything from this drama and glad I didn't skip this because this is such a cute rom-com I've seen for awhile.The leads were so mature and not the typical annoying one we always get with cdrama leads especially the FL but this one sort out very maturely,same as the ML,he's micro expression were impressive and we can feel the pain he had to endure himself.Loved the communication between them when they were having a conflict and resolved it very fast.

The story is just the same premise cold CEO x cute+bubbly girl.If you're not into it better you skip it because it's just the same like any cdrama story.The one that got you hooked is the VR game story but they stop focusing that and kinda drop it somewhere.Wish they showed more of that in the last few episodes because that's the reason people loved the drama.I think they could've ended this with 24 episodes only but they kinda made the brother weird for a few last episodes.They could've made the brother the character that we would root for but they just had to make him like that.

Overall a cute story for whoever in a rom com slump.

Glad I didn't drop this,because the first few episodes were very confusing for me because there's just too much going on and so many characters but by the middle of the story I got the hang of it.Story was interesting and loved the dynamic between the male leads and I wish they gave us more male leads instead of Su Mu Yu and Bai He Hua romance, because I did not see any chemistry between them.I don't know when they fell in loved with each other? because it was just so sudden that they liked each other.The male leads here were very complex especially Su Chang He but the trust between them were very pure that there were no miscommunication or any doubt of betrayal between the two.Loved the costume and the styles in here,big props to the costume design team also hair & makeup team! They did a tremendous job of the characters costume in here, everyone looks very beautiful and handsome in this drama.Overall recommended for people who loves a good fighting story and bromance story.

Now this is how you do enemies to lovers story.The story between them so good and I couldn't care less about the princess and her story because I feel like they both deserved what they did.Xia Jing Shi motives were valid even though the approach of revenge was wrong.Loved the army team especially Lu Ke!. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for the best enemies to lovers story.

Loved the drama,I haven't seen a decent kdrama for awhile and this definitely puts me out of my slump.The plot was good but the storyline was a bit rushed and a lot of characters did not fleshed out well and we got a happy ending but we don't know how he went to the modern world?,at least just tell us how he came to the modern world and found Ji Yeong and give us some closure about it.Overall I think this is a good drama if you want to get out of the kdrama slump.
*The episodes from the China envoy were so bad that I just fast forward it because the pronunciation was so terrible and I couldn't get through it.

as the comment below me said,the writing was not good.This could've been a 24 episodes yet they drag and a lot of filler episodes.The first 10 episodes were a strong start but then it went downhill when they started to earn merits and it became a "who has done this"so I merely skip it and the writing is still not good.So I just skip to the last and I feel like I don't need to see the rest of the drama to understand the story because like I said the writing for this drama was really not good and the amount of dragging,fillers and the amnesiac trope was so bad and it feels like a really lazy writing,The only good of this drama is the ost ,other than that,if you like a cliche one this will definitely be your favorite.

as much as I loved Bai Lu and Ao Rui Peng since The Blood of Youth,I have to say this had a potential but the writing was boring.I mean they do have chemistry but it's just the pacing of the story kinda went downhill and a little bit cliche for me.The first few were interesting but then it became bored for me.I love the plot,casting and costumes in here but it was just not for me.But I do recommend this to whomever likes xianxia stories and the leads.

I have to say the story was very messy but the romance between the leads were chef's kiss🤌🏻the editing in the last few episodes were messy but the last episode was just pure sh*t.Overall it was a meh drama and I've seen better story than this but Baek Sa Eon is THE greenest flag💚a bit dramatic but cute.

well if you're on episode 13 then might just give it a go till the end but I would say the second half for me was just meh😕they could've done just 24 episodes, don't know why they dragged it out till 32.

well this was exhausting too watch😔 first half was good but then the second half went downhill bad and didn't go nowhere🤷🏻‍♀️the story had so much potential but alas it's like the writer don't know where to go and how to end the story😞The chemistry between the leads is there because they used to acted together so no doubt about it but they seemed to not know what to do between the leads and gave filler episodes with the MC's and unnecessary story with the second leads that I do not have the slightest care for them because they were really boring.But if you're a fan of Ding Yu Xi,I recommend this drama because he looks really good in here.

wasn't expecting anything from this drama but unexpectedly this was actually really good! the chemistry between the 2 leads we're superb.I love how it balance between the serious story to the unserious one,very well balance.I admit the first half was kinda boring and dragging for me but the second half picked up the pace very well.So if anyone kinda wanna drop this, trust me the story will get better for the second half of the drama.And this has a happy ending😊

guys is there any confirmation about season 2 of this? cause I am dying on waiting for the second season🫠

all I can say is this drama was a ✨MASTERPIECE✨ THIS WAS CHEF'S KISS🤌🏻! And I thought nothing could compete with Joy of Life S2 this year but this one was such a💎GEM💎 anyone who wanted to start this drama I would say good luck because you are gonna be obsessed with Xiao Heng's visual! and for the plot twist😉

well for me,the time travel plot in the first few episodes were great but it went all over the place after the second half of the drama and then it went messy and they just don't know what to do with it🤷🏻‍♀️

well I kinda gave this a try after so much hype but I just couldn't🫤 plots interesting but the characters of the leads and the amount of miscommunication is beyond frustrating! I just think it's not my cup of tea😔 but if you like fluffy romance and funny,goofy characters then this story is exactly for you😊

this is one of the best drama of the year! and it's hard to find a good old pure xianxia drama these days!,from the directing to the writing and the production process also the actors were so *chef's kiss* was so good that no other drama can compete with this drama! this is definitely worth rewatching billion times....10/10 drama of the year for me!
