This series did little for me. Production wise, the best thing about it was the music soundtrack which reflected what was happening with agility and sensitivity.

By the time we get to Ep. 3, it can be classified as soft porn in which we see one boy fucking another boy. He leaves. The end. It's not something we've not seen in more mainstream BL series. The boys are cute. A second miniseries is forthcoming.

The concept of this show is fine but its execution is poor. The editing is shoddy, the subs need improvement, the talking dog is barely audible and not well integrated, the writing leaves something to be desired and a few scenes and characters seem to be unnecessary. It could be so much better.

I just watched the first four episodes and I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality of this new Filipino drama from Oxin Films, in my opinion, the best production I've seen from them. It has a strong, original storyline, set in the world of sardine fishing. The cast is excellent, full of attractive boys, and they're a horny lot to be sure. Not to be missed.

Here's a shoutout for the guy dressing Tada (Peterpan) whose array of suits and ties are simply stunning, sartorially splendid. Combined with his exceptionally handsome looks, one would expect to see him on the cover of prestige fashion magazines.

A beautiful, simple and charming story, full of local colour and set in the Nan province, it won't disappoint and has a perfectly satisfying ending.

I'm from Australia too and I think it's a crime to hate on GMMTV who have given me hours of unalloyed pleasure and delight for years. It is the pre-eminent BL channel and long may it remain so.

I may be in the minority here, but I feel this is not one of those shows in which one can easily pick up the storyline on a weekly basis. Consequently, much of the antics go over my head, so it might be wise to wait till it's finished and binge watch it.

I've read all the explanations about the various deaths in the final episode. Some of them make sense but don't make up for the fact that with such a tragic double resolution (before and after Ton's cave visit), it was the initial setup that led to this outcome, that being Nan loving Ton forever and then Ton falling in love with Victor. How could there possibly be a happy ending? It was bad enough that no explanation was given for Victor's passing, it had to be amplified with the death of Nan due to a minor car collision. In desperation, Ton goes to the cave where he berates the stone princess, who after he falls unconscious, comes to him and turns back time. This is where it becomes even more horrendous, as it results in Ton's death from a car accident. Honestly, I'm so sick of seeing fatal car accidents in drama after drama, it just seems too easy to be used as a plot device. I don't know how the love triangle could have been resolved differently, but it didn't really need all those tears and unfortunate deaths.

Palm is the object of Bonzai's teasing and wishes he was more like Chin. He mentions this to his friend Pun and makes a prayer that the two boys switch personalities. "Satu", they both end. Lo and behold, it comes to pass; then they, along with the other boys, spend the rest of the video sorting out their love lives. Mildly entertaining.

Ep. 6: Armin and Tada are the essence of Boy Love.

One of my favourite schoolboy BL shows of all time! They've come a long way since Love Sick (2014). Today's boys are more confident and freer to express themselves as they wish - witness the casual holding hands and sudden cheek kisses on school grounds and Kim even saying over the school intercom system, "Lastly, I love you Mon." Unthinkable then. This was simple, fairly light-hearted storytelling, featuring two young couples, two 'besties' and an adult couple, though the youngsters, of course, stole the show, because they were cute, immensely likeable, faced their problems head-on and overcame them, leaving us with hope and happiness as we followed their journeys. The cast was perfect, the production and direction top-notch. A rare 9.5 from me.

There are two perspectives here. First, there's Armin's, reliving the trauma of his past life and trying to relate it to his present life in the future. Then there's Tada's, who is aware of Armin's history and is trying his best to be supportive and who has come to love him unconditionally, but Armin wants to manage his own life without Tada intervening at crucial times. For an hour, we feel Armin's distress as events unfold that he can relate to his previous life. He manages to have Tada support him from a distance, which makes Tada decide to ask Wenai to dispose of the gift he has for Armin. Crucially, Wenai still gives it to Armin, who then realises that the Mr. T.D. who gave it to him in his past life is Tada, so Armin rushes to see him. The past and present are resolved. Armin and Tada are reconciled. The relief and happiness Tada and Armin feel is palpable. Their love is reignited with passionate kisses and all is well again.
