There's an iconic portrait of Queen Alexandra, the Danish wife of King Edward VII, wearing strands of pearls around her neck (https://www.antiquejewellerycompany.com/princess-alexandra-of-denmark/ - it features other pictures and a short biography; definitely worth checking out). I mention this because each little scene is like a precious pearl. Each has something pertinent to say or has a situation that arises which always manages to get resolved to the satisfaction of those involved, and every time they never fail to capture the essence of a scene and make it special, in most cases bringing another smile to one's face as it concludes. For this, I congratulate the writers who possess an uncanny ability with dialogue, a terrific script, and a really talented bunch of young actors, all combined with flawless videography and direction, to produce this BL masterpiece. In my estimation, it is one. GMMTV have perfected this genre like no other company. Over the years, they've given us countless series to watch, some memorable, some forgettable, but this one, in its modest way, is as precious as the jewels worn by Queen Alexandra.

They're deliberately concealing what happened to Blue the day he died and who possibly caused it. Cia is doing his best to find out but he won't ask that direct question. Blue's sister won't talk about it, we just found out his friend Tharn stole money but the most suspicious person remains the head of the music club.

The continuing storyline in Ep. 7 was not conducive to BL content. Peace knows Sun has warm feelings for him, however, for his safety, Peace has to be extremely careful in his interactions with Sun, especially showing affection, in order not to trigger his father to do something drastic. But don't despair, we'll see them kissing properly soon enough.

Finally, a kbl that has something going for it - a shy, cute, short boy (Ji Won) and a handsome, charming, taller boy (Jungwoo). Both have something in common: Ji Won is a former Olympic basketball player and Jungwoo is a star campus basketball player. Their lives at university suddenly become intertwined and unexpectedly, Ji Won falls for Jungwoo after he breaks up with his girlfriend. It has a slight feel of jbl, principally because of the frequent audible thoughts from Ji Won, which are important. From the start, Jungwoo treats Ji Won in a way that looks like a slightly amused indifference but masks a warm and friendly attitude that draws Ji Won to him. This accounts for why he drives Ji Won home when he's drunk in the first episode and in the second, having noticed Ji Woo has cut his finger, he not only proffers a bandaid but applies it as well. Both are drawn to each other as if a magnet is pulling them together. I look forward to the imminent and ensuing romance as it unfolds.

The way this is going, I don't see a romance developing between Jom and Yo, as much as some of the forced close-ups we see would suggest, principally because Jom is the Chief of the village and Yo is a schoolboy, albeit a bit older than the others in his class. I'm probably wrong and it's going to be forced somehow. Sigh. I doubt the chemistry is there to make it work as it should. Otherwise, I'm enjoying this series because it's different and original, there's the delightful trio of young boys who are always entertaining, the feisty grandma and finally, having not seen Saint in a starring role since Love by Chance from 2018(!), his appearance in this role shows how much he's developed as an actor, one that is a world apart from that series, and he's nailing it.

Officially, Ep. 5 doesn't air till next week. It appears some viewers saw a Fast Track version with iffy subtitles. They couldn't wait? I just saw Ep. 4 which saw Chain get messed up by Jorn and his gang, the reason, it seems, is that he's trying to steal Nu away from Sun. For a university setting, I suggest that's taking matters too far but according to what I just read, Ep. 5 will be even worse. What I did learn from Ep. 4, however, is how the schoolkids and the university are connected: Sun's younger sister is part of the girl clique trying to elect Frong as school president. This boy, who is a nerd, is helping a traditionally handsome boy to become president, and after having enough of the girls, he goes to find him and they end up kissing. This is one unorthodox series.

There might be the occasional misstep but it soon passes. Why? Because these boys are thoughtful and caring, they want their relationships to work, and the two main pairs are very different - Kim doing his best to pacify Mon's mother and the outgoing Kit nurturing the introspective Shane. Even with the two teachers there is a similar dynamic and look how far they've got. The boys are juggling their school lives with their love lives and it's entrancing and adorable. That's enough to keep one absorbed and it's all we need.

Both Nankrai and Victor find Tontae rather adorable (indeed, he is) and certainly have developing romantic feelings towards him. The big question is who will be the one he falls in love with. Nankrai has a head start but Victor is quickly catching up.

While watching from afar with his binoculars? That wasn't Jun-ho. - it was a younger Korean. He then says, "Circle back and pick up Jun-ho and the others.".

The romance between Sun and Peace got off to a rocky start because of their individual circumstances. They know they like each other and also know they have to be very circumspect concealing their love as much as possible, especially to Joe and the son he's nominated to keep an eye on them. Peace chose an odd time to kiss Sun; good thing the Korean with the binoculars decided not to report it. At present, there is much 'business' to attend to and until things settle down, they have little chance to develop their relationship. Be patient. I'm sure the steamy kissing scenes (and possibly more) will be on our screens in due course.

That climate-controlled garden and bird sanctuary is so beautiful, it's enough to make me want to make it a priority to visit if and when I go to Japan.

When watching this, people should take into account that it's set in a remote rural village, so it's not a polished production set in urban locations. Accordingly, the music track is simple, featuring traditional instruments and melodies derived from Thai folk music. There are no sound effects, and none of the actors are well-known. It's a little rough round the edges, so to speak, but combined, all this just adds a certain charm to the production. All the actors are doing a good job. As for Loy and Kaew, a lovely looking pair who seem perfect for each other, one moment fighting, the next kissing passionately, which is really a feature of how close they are, all the while realising they know they have to keep their love a deep secret in a village where eveyone knows everyone else, it is very traditional and conservative, and where there are so many interpersonal relationships to contend with. We're now half way through the series and there is still much that will happen. Interestingly, there is no negativity in the YouTube comments that I find here. I think people should calm down and give it a go. It will be worth it, in the end.

The two leads are undeniably attractive but apart from that, the series doesn't have much going for it. There's barely a storyline, nothing much happens and it's a little repetitive.

The rapport and timing with Phi and Tam are first-rate, a mixture of harmony and bickering that carries the action, which is underlined perfectly with a music score that reflects every moment with precision. The story didn't move much but gosh, it was entertaining.

I thought Ep. 3 was an improvement on previous episodes. There are so many goodlooking boys and they sort of look rather similar, as if they were processed from the same facility. Nu does stand out though, with his sterner features. His rejection and criticisms of Sun didn't last long and soon crumbled. Sun turned out to be rather sweet and romantic and his heartfelt confession quickly led to Nu becoming his boyfriend. Where this leaves Chain, I'm not sure. Besides this storyline there is a completely separate one taking place in a high school that so far is completely unrelated, nor are any romances in the offing here. We'll just have to wait and see if that changes and if somehow the university and school plot lines converge.

Definitely one of the better BL vampire series. Joss and Gawin as Mark and Tong were marvellous, their love convincing and all consuming. There's a lot going for this and credit is due to all those concerned in its production.

Yes, Mon's mom is one of those women who like to exert their authority and control on people within her sphere of influence, be it her son or a teacher at his school. Having got her way and curtailed the trip to Pattaya, once home, he stormed upstairs to his bedroom without saying a single word to his mom, then after he'd cooled down, the inevitable confrontation occurred, but Mon used his wit and intelligence to counter his mother's arguments. Importantly, she is not against Kim being Mon's boyfriend, she is concerned he will be distraction to his studies, but Mon assuaged those concerns.

I'm pretty sure Per and Tar are just close friends and will not develop any romantic feelings towards each other. Having the other two pairs as boyfriends is sufficient.
