Hmm..........all these episodes in and there is absolutely nothing she's done to warrant the amount of affection now garnered by the GP. The same rotten petulant child acting drama queen was on display for the 8 straight ep~
The writer is tying them together through accidents, injuries, and the ever infamous threat of falling. That's NOT chemistry and the point of no return is reaching fast in which too look at her with any favor~
It's cheap, forcing them together through protective instincts (mostly on his part) rather than true emotional bonding because she doesn't have a personality anyone would like let alone marry. She's having feelings now only because HE has feelings and is showing it. It's making the drama so fake. The tension between the QM and GP along with the GP and the PM have made for more interesting points to focus on~

Her and upbringing within the was wrong. You don't blame children for the mistakes the elders and parents make, especially when it comes to the matter of ones birth. Very nasty stigma seen almost exclusively in SK. It was followed to the letter here, Dad acknowledged her though, which he and the brother think makes it ok to talk down and disparage. So yea, her character is abysmal and she acts out 24/7. But this is the mindset and behavior and the train of thought she genuinely has acta accordingly to even outside her fam. What a despicable plan she came up with. WE know her fam cares abit for her but that means nothing when she doesn't know. She is not responsible for w/e mishaps occurred when being brought into the family. (This is just my mindset when looking at things like this, I mean no offense 😅)She can scrap with her fam and that's fine, but outside the fam towards others, I think not. She needs to stop being a pissy little girl and grow up. We're now 8 eps in and I dislike her character even more. The ending today would have been another valuable experience in humility and shame, something she desperately needs to feel and experience in order to grow. She likes to act out and be in the spotlight. But the writers, of course, send the prince to save the "damsel in distress." She hasn't done anything for the price to like her this much personality wise. The writers are tying them together using accidents and injury and the ever infamous fake perceived threat of falling. Actually......secret love is kind of a perfect description. You said it yourself, when bro and dad show any kind of affection towards her, she's not in the room. Bro investigated the car crash secretly on his own. Incident you mentioned at the house. Can't remember what was said but there was another instant wth Dad, Bro, and DIL were talking. Dad got pissed off for something being directed negatively towards IU, told the bro to handle it and stalked off anger. DIL was surprised and said something about she thought the dad didn't care or worry about IU. Bro nodded accordingly and said something that fam can do or say w/e amongst them because they're fam, anyone else does it and they pay the price. Maybe its not love but there was and is a line they were not going to let others outside the family cross no matter who it is. Ep8 confrontation with Dad and the GP today proved that for sure. But regardless, she's still got an ugly petulant, childish personality she exhibits to EVERYONE, not just her family which is why she gets no pass from me.
Her introduction and upbringing with other family was messed up, she's not to blame for those kinds of things that are absolutely outside her control but It is a conscious choice on her part to play the Bish and to come up with a plan so petty as to marry for status.

Ohhh noooooo!! Watching with my wife and my youngest is 4, she wandered in around the scene where IUs entering the throne room in her ceremonial outfit with the 3 big red dots on her face. She saw it and told us she wants a clown for her birthday too!! My wife choked on air and I bit my tongue laughing!! 🤣😭

As if she's much better? There is still not one redeeming characteristic in her person after 7 eps that makes it tolerable to be in her presence, let alone marry. She's a loooooong way to go before being good enough for the GP. Let's not forget the primary reason she covets a marriage with him which is why I find the fact that he's fallen for her so fast kind of absurd. Character growth on her part has not manifested yet~

Lol.......at least this one isn't as bad as IU's character in Perfect Crown. There's not one redeeming aspect in that one, total pos. So it makes me..........like a bit more tolerant towards this one.
