I still wish I had watched this drama while it was airing so I could talk about it more, but honestly, if I had to wait to find out what happened to the 2 mls after they ended up in the ice at the end of that episode 💔… my pc would’ve flown out the window. 🤣🤣

That is a tricky situation. His case had nothing to do with his new life.

And he created a personality that is a mix between who he really is and who he thinks he should be or wants to be.
After all that time living a normal life, he doesn't know what parts are real and what parts are fake anymore.

If he doesn’t know who he really is, it would be impossible for her to know. But she will prove that she understands him even more than he understands himself. And the way she comes to that conclusion is not easy, on the contrary, it’s a key part of the whole journey of this drama.
Really touching.

And the way she follows the case is also realistic: time passes, unrelated or less important problems get in the way, and the investigation moves slowly, full of doubt and tangled with emotions and feelings.

Still, she is brave enough to decide not to believe what everyone tells her to believe. She is strong enough to dig deeper and uncover the truth that others want to hide or refuse to accept.
And she is smart enough to understand what is real and what is not, in the end.

And most importantly, she never becomes a liability for him while doing all this (quite the opposite). Which is really unusual in all the drama i have seen.

I usually like at most 2–3 characters in a drama. But here, the mains, the villain, even the secondary characters, are all so relatable and flawed in a human way that it's hard not to fall for almost all of them at some point.

I suppose that’s a matter of perspective.

I felt exactly the same as you, I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen for the whole series! And everything seemed to fit so well into the atmosphere that the pacing created. 💗

ZYZ and WY are my all-time favorite characters in all of dramaland! They're both incredibly cool and so difficult to play, but HMH pulled off amazing performances with both of them. He really is an incredible actor!

Some time ago, there was a rumor that his agency was treating him even worse than usual because his contract with them was nearing its expiration date.
I really hoped (and hope) that rumor was true.

Yes, he looks adorable. He also seems to have little pom-poms in his hair, just to make him look even cuter. lol 🧡

Yes, those strands of white hair definitely make him look more badass, lol.

1. One of the big mysteries of FOF.
My guess is that Zyz is a white ape, so his first human transformation (younger) has white hair to match his "real" form. Later, he masters the transformation, and to appear more human, his hair becomes darker, though he still keeps three strands of white hair (one in the center and two on the sides) as a reminder of his true self.

HMH in his farewell vlog also said that he had the option of walking in the human world with white braided hair, and that he initially liked the idea of white hair during the appearance discussions. But later, he firmly chose the look with long black hair and white streaks.

So, it maybe both a sensible and an artistic choice, to make him look more human now that he has closer contact with them, and perhaps also to better suit a more serious tone compared to the past.
