Yes there are English subtitles! Like i have a Roku TV and i had to go set the language & subtitles on the TV settings not in the app. If you watch on another platform you may be able to set them there in the app. (Took me a minute but that English dub had me feeling like i was watching an anime ugh).

PS is technically his step-son (if he hadn't been "adopted by the other couple). But the real reason is that because he is Mari's half-brother he would look after her the best if anything happened to them.

He's been working for years as CEO and setup a slush fund siphoning off money (probably through kickbacks and fake expenses (plus as the owner family i imagine some turned a blind eye).. those things are usually only caught when a forensic type audit is done. This was done through his Angel Investment company. Also as "family" his bother trusted him too much. As for his dau's account being triggered i imagine it was only watched because of her disability..
