guys, my ig feed is on woh steroids :D'mom, i love him'
They are a combustible mix;) The pointed barbs suggest they got to know each other pretty well, and they seem to be very comfortable in each other's company. I have to say most of the time I can't tell if ZZH is being serious or sarcastic when talking about GJ... At this point, I pretty much assume he's always just messing with him. Maybe GJ gets stuck, cause he can't tell if he just got insulted or complimented and needs to first replay ZZH's comments in his mind:)
*When asked what bad habit they'd change about each other*Simon: learn from younger generation. This person acts…
Lol, that's why I think ZZH teased this great acting performance out of GJ... Half of Lao Wen's fixated stares are probably GJ thinking up comebacks to his teasing between takes, mentally preparing for ZZH going off-script ...again, or feeling self-satisfied that, at least when they're shooting a scene, he's got the upper hand :D
The reason why is the mistranslation from YK because the word 义父 (yì fù) means adoptive father or father…
To me, the biggest problem with this whole thing is that we don't get any backstory explaining their past and how they got with this 'unique' dynamic , so we're free to assume things... Even if we didn't have the word 'father' stuck in the back of our heads, we still see scorpion making puppy love eyes, going full possesive mode and repeatedly trying to get closer to ZJ, for what purpose I'm not even gonna guess:D So that 'father' word was an unfortunate translation error of judgement, but even if it was changed to 'foster father', I don't think it wouldn cleanse the ickiness from that relationship;)
This is why the drama is actually quite loved. Its simplicity and not too complicated plots, its change of scenery/venue,…
Tbh, I'm not sure I fully grasp your meaning, cause I'm not a serious drama watcher ...at all. This is also the first Thai drama I have seen in my life. So just complete outsider here:) But I do see why people would like this drama and I did enjoy the early episodes. Compared to some of the Chinese/Taiwanese stories I've seen, this is like a masterclass in acting. Maybe, it's because I read much more than watch, so I tend to overfocus on the story and character development, and I do like complicated plots:)
I think that might depend on how many dramas a person consumes. As a BL, this is considered a fairly unique venture,…
Yes, I guess it all depends where we draw comparisons from. Before 2021, I don't think I have watched a single drama in the last several years. But I do watch other stuff and I read a lot, so to me this just seems to follow a rather well trodden path. Anyway, I guess I just got frustrated after asking my TV screen nicely, and repeatedly, for them not to go with that twist .... and they just went right for it, which gave me all the wrong set of emotions:) I'll just give this one a rest for a few weeks and come back with a clear mind.
Apparently netizens complained about episode 32s ZZS’s screaming when he’s taking the nail out that “it…
Chinese netizens are really detail oriented... That's like the least of the problems with that episode:D I'm with you, that scene fit his emotions quite well. It was supposed to be raw and painful. But, tbh it also looks really weird. I think they messed up the effects with the 'floating' ribcage and fake nail wounds.
So I just rolled off the couch laughing after Er ye put drunk Shang laoban in the car via ass kicking and then sat on him to keep him still:D Why am I loving these two crazy people so much?! I honestly don't know if the driver has the best or the worst job in the world;)
There's also that talk he has with Gu Xiang at the start of ep23. He asks her when did WKX get THERE. And she's…
One of my favourite things in this series is how many things are left unsaid between them but obviously understood. Sigh, can't get enough of them lol.
The Youku app is going to crash. Tickets for the livestreams will be sold at the same time as the concerts. https://twitter.com/zhngzhehan/status/1381887643122737152?s=21
Me and all my Android devices feeling so discriminated by youku again:D

Well, let's be honest, WKX's behaviour was super suspicious at the start:) I don't think A-xu would've let the distance drop between them so quickly, if it weren't for the pure-hearted flute playing..
OK, I just finished ep6 and I find the plot so predictable! I mean, I saw that plot twist coming from miles away... Honestly, I feel like I have already seen this story a hundred times before. - from big city to remote area - young and quirky vs. older and reserved - trouble magnet vs. protector/saviour It's like standard romcom fare. Plus, I feel like there's very little character development for Phupha... I don't know, does the story veer into unexpected in the next 4 eps? Cause right now I feel like I can completely predict it to the end...
WAIT WHAT, e27 and apparently ZZS already knew WKX is the chief? SINCE WHEN
There's also that talk he has with Gu Xiang at the start of ep23. He asks her when did WKX get THERE. And she's all suspicious, asking him back: where? And he's like: OK, let's drop it:) I also think he suspected from ep2 and the mirror sect.
IKR - and this is supposed to be a low budget series - how is it that everything about it is so memorable? For…
Photographic equipment:) I really like her attitude. She knew she had good material, so did everything to give this series the best shot possible. I liked from that interview how the costume designer saw WKX as this butterfly fluttering around A-xu all day long, so gave him all these flashy, multi-layered outfits in vibrant colours;)
Agreed:) But the illogical part for me is not WKX not telling ZZS before, but YBY not telling him WKX's alive…
True that:) I've already mentioned here that I had to switch off my brain from ep31 and just focus on feels and visuals. But it is still a bit disappointing to be stuck with those few puzzle pieces in the end that don't fit, however you turn them. Spoils the beautiful picture;)
While I love The Untamed (TU), one MAJOR difference I found personally between WOH and TU is that it took forever…
I actually got sucked right into both series but I can't compare them, they're too different. TU is like this big, super messy, multi-layered story exploring themes about human nature and justice like a freaking Greek tragedy:) Even WangXian just folds into this plot with the first starting out as upholder of propriety, and the second determined to do what's right no matter what. WOH, to me is 100% pure certified love story. It's all about A-xu and Lao wen's past, finding each other, blossoming love, family ...with the mystery somewhere in the background.
Sigh, can't get enough of them lol.
