I know I know:) My brain is just really bad at unseeing things. You know pareidolia? I've been trying to convince myself for years there aren't ten pair of eyes staring at me from my wooden bathroom door... Still see them;)
OMG I just became a part of mass delusion, cause I totally see them saying 'ai ni' in ep36. Or maybe it's just a case of what was once seen cannot be unseen... My brain trolls me again;)
Has everyone watched the subbed redubbed versions of the original lines by fans? Someone shared the link with…
5 times;) The subtitles are so good! I remember scratching my head on so many of those moments, cause the lines made little sense. Now I know they did it on purpose to make sure people go watch in slow motion:D
That last scene w/ZZS & WKX in ep. 36 will live rent free in my head forever. It just wrecked me. They are just…
To me it's the scene where they start to fight in the extra episode and send each other those loving looks... I don't know how else to call it. And the father saying to the kid they better leave, cause there's no stopping those two once they get like that:D

WOW the costume designer spent three weeks knitting ZZS's beggar costume with his own hands?! And I loved the part where he said that WKX was like a butterfly jumping around ZZS whole day long so he gave him showy clothes LOL Thank you for sharing:)
At first, I didn’t know what people were talking about but, the audience/fans were right. Wen Kexings bubble…
Yes! that was so awful! I didn't know that was coming and I was like WTF? How could you do this to THAT moment! That's one spoiler I wish I have read to prepare myself mentally...
Finished watching early this morning and my emotions are still scattered all over the place... I wanna steal this show, call it 'my precious' and rewatch every month;) I understand now why people are upset about spoilers, cause the last few episodes are intense! Wish they weren't so rushed but you can't have everything... I really have to applaud the whole team for giving this series their 150%! I mean the tale itself is rather classical and I wouldn't say it's instant hit material. But the pacing, dialogues, visuals, humor, balance between fight and emotional scenes, THE acting and smouldering chemistry all together make WOH a crane standing among chickens;)
The red outfit is gorgeous too. Actually, all of their outfits are beautiful.
True, they add so much to the overall visual appeal! I like that each person has distinct style. And they really made great use of GJ's height to showcase all these flowy robes of his... happy sigh;)
Guys... when you are mentioning something particular from any episode, be it ep 1 or ep 36, please add the spoiler…
Definitely this comment section is messy! But it's also fun and alive. I think all in all, with how high excitement run over this show, people have been really good at tagging or reminding others to tag spoilers here. I mean I've been reading the comments here since ep10 aired and still have no idea what's coming:) It's just common sense to be wary if you're reading live thread. But absolutely agree all major plotlines and detailed recaps should be tagged no matter how many episodes aired. These can be talked in the discussion section.
Oh my... GJ in red make-up is just pure hotness... This series may have lacked money but it certainly didn't lack people with an eye for the visual. I need to go fan myself;)
Honestly, I don't really like this part of culture that transfer the CP inside the drama into real life. I admit…
Sigh, so true. Shipping used to be fun, spontaneous and mostly for non-canon pairs. But then fandom places were more hidden from the general public, so it didn't really get pushed back on the artists. Now it's become part of 'fan engagement'... The sad thing is, you can see a lot of actors are really uncomfortable with it, but they are stuck between the fans and the networks. I'm not really surprised they're pushing actor CP even in the BL context in China, after all interviews cost much less than drama episodes;)
really? I don't think Zhang zhe han looks old at all, and he's the better actor out of the two. I think he did…
Hmmm, to me they just have very different skillsets that worked really well with childish/psycho WKX and stone-faced/mischievous ZZS. I love ZZH's subtle acting with the long fond looks and small teasing smiles, but his high-impact emotional scenes left me rather cold, while GJ's just bulldozed me over. I don't think GJ can do subtlety ...like at all. But he's got this charisma on screen that is very compelling... So I rather hope he stays inexperienced and raw, just for the feels:) I do hope they get to play to their strenghts in future projects, I'll be watching:)
he's ok here but he's gotten better hwich is honestly shocking cos not a lot of ppl work hard to get better. from…
Yes, I absolutely love his emotional scenes in WOH! But honestly I liked him here too. It's a fun series so his acting kinda fits. I'm not sure how much is him practicing, and how much is WOH having a much better director.
Wow, seriously? I mean, did they start crowd-sourcing for new story or just searching for existing story to select…
Pity, I wouldn't mind WOH sequel or YBY spin off. Let's just hope they won't make them brothers or blood relations, that would be uncomfortable to watch;)
