On His Man Season 4 Feb 27, 2026
Watching Min Sung be affectionate, bold, and flirty while occasionally sarcastic has to be the highlight of this season for me. It’s like he’s done a total transformation from Season 2, and honestly, I find it so damn refreshing to see him come in with such solid determination. I smile every time he and Hyeong Jun banter back and forth, they both have sharp wits and you can tell that both are a bit pampered and spoiled. It’s slightly caustic on occasion, but totally hysterical. It reminds me so much of the dynamics between my spouse and I. I guess that I don’t really mind the deep voiced teasing tones, maybe because I’m attracted to people that give me a challenge and make me think. I love watching Min Sung’s post-date interviews, he’s totally love brained, completely mystified by his own behavior. I love that he can admit it. That said, I also enjoyed watching Jae Ha’s interactions with Hyeong Jun when he was still in the house. No judgements about the situation between the three of them because it’s their lives to sort, but I’m just so grateful to have watched some of their scenes. For me, they were the reason that I’ve enjoyed watching and can’t stop grinning.

On The Boyfriend Season 2 Feb 3, 2026
I think when I look back at Season 2, I will remember most our oldest participant. The way he needed this time in the house to quietly reflect on the end of his 15 year relationship, and to begin to acknowledge that he’d made a mistake. I love that he could remember the little things: like buying his boyfriend his favorite yogurt, or admiring him for the way he loved their dog. I was honestly so happy when he gave the news at the final dinner with the group. Just wonderful. Because that’s life: humbling yourself before the one you love the most in the world and admitting that you may have let them down. Made this season totally worth it.

Pretty sure the FL fell in love with the ML in real life during filming this. Or I did. Either way…..because LORD is he FINE. 🔥 Those dimples, the chisled chin and cheeks, and all the other parts. 💀🙌🏼 I may have a new favorite to watch.

A quote from the final episode, (number 10) “Hyung, our story has just begun.”
Me, absolutely perplexed: What story? For the love of my sanity, WHERE WAS THE STORY?

My good people, thank you so much for joining me on this hole-riddled raft that we were all thrown onto for the promise of seeing a love tide. 🤦🏻‍♀️

What we wanted: A slightly dark but introspective story about two characters with different personalities tied together within a contract relationship, one character being carefree and artsy and the other obsessively angsty. We wanted to see them bonding over their love of artwork, talking about what inspires them, growing together and learning more about themselves in the process.

What we got: levitating plants, an apple, a few bites of ramen and ketchup, a magical water bottle, some grunting, a brass lighter, a lot of repetitive hair caressing, and plenty of stiff lips and long, drawn out silence or blank stares. And weirdly, very little art, which is the strangest thing about it all, because one of the characters makes it very clear that he’s only ever been interested in artists.

If they’d optimized some of the time for much needed conversation between the two in each episode, maybe I’d leave the show believing that both are in love. But nope. I believe one is possibly in love and the other is just kinda clinging to the raft like the rest of us.

There is still one episode to go but I'm already sure it will become one of the worst series I ever watched. 2/10…
You’re being generous with that rating. 😭💀

I know the odds of my ever getting kissed by either of these two is basically less than the odds of me meeting my sudden demise by a rampaging family of otter, and for this, I am entirely grateful. Because one of these characters eats every inch of the face like he’s thirsting for electrolytes while the other character has lips that double as a chip clip. It’s all just so random, I have absolutely ZERO idea what this show is about, other than all the face snacking. I have so many questions: What happened to the random guy that was sitting in the car? What happened to Apple girl? Why was water-boarding reintroduced? Why is the rating still up in the 5’s? One episode remaining. I can do this, I’ll just take one for the team.

Future viewers: this one is sloppy, despite the fantastic performances of both leads, the writing and editing are a total let down. Only rated it a 6.5 for the acting, because the leads do have a nice chemistry together and the styling was great. If I had to rate it on the story alone though, I’d only give it a 5. Fortunately both leads did the best they could. It honestly feels really choppy and disorganized, as though it was cut in a lot of scenes or things were left out making it feel incomplete in some sections. And strangely, the ML never even discovers that the FL was reborn. Watch if you’re a fan of the leads, otherwise, skip it or watch it in faster speed setting.

Not me searching up the plant names you mentioned. Thanks to you I'm at least learning sth bcs of this drama🙌…
Self confessed plant hoarder here. 😭 I’ve got a little bit of everything, some huge, including figs, monsteras, and cacti. But my heart is really in the care of my two little bonsai, they’re my babies, fell in love with them when in Korea and had to have them. If you’re new to plants and have zero experience, highly recommend getting a Japanese Marimo Ball….it just floats in water all day, you never have to feed it. Years ago I watched the K drama ‘Secret Life of my Secretary’ and they had a few of them floating in a huge fish tank, I thought they were cute so I had to go and order them. 🤪 This show definitely has me grabbing screenshots and talking to my local plant guy about them. 👏

I feel like they missed an opportunity to put holiday lights or tiny lanterns on that cute little potted Norfolk pine that was featured in this latest episode, it was a total scene stealer. I’ve come to the conclusion that my brain turns off and my eyes begin to wander whenever one of the leads begins a long, quiet staring spell. Which is like half of the drama. 💀I’d be shocked if there was ever five minutes of continuous dialogue between them. But hey, I’m no quitter, so I’m sticking it out till the very end. Which will probably just be another long, silent staring scene anyways. Hope there’s at least a decorated fiddle leaf fig in the finale. (Sorry, I just had to.) 🤦🏻‍♀️

I just love these two when they’re cast together. Adored their last collaboration as a pairing too, (I get so happy whenever I hear that they’re working on a new project, their chemistry is always on point.) What makes them so special to watch is that they seem to choose wonderful storylines and they’re both equally matched in terms of their acting, neither outshines the other because they honestly compliment each others acting styles. Visually they’re both stunning, he’s always so stoic and handsome and she’s just a tiny bundle of cuteness…but she definitely knows how to turn up the heat. When he plays a smitten husband to any of her characters within their mutual collaborations, it honestly feels believable. If you haven’t watched any of the others that they’ve been cast together in, definitely DO! You’ll find yourself grinning.

At this point, I’m here for the food scenes and all the screenshots that I’ve taken of their house plants so that I can ask my local florist or garden center if they have something similar in stock. Plot? None. Character development? Debatable. Soundtrack? Forgettable. Visuals? Solid 10, total cuties. Acting? Given the small cast, these two (oddly) don’t have enough genuine interactions together to judge, it’s a mystery to me if they even know much about each other as their characters, their time is basically spent kissing and having food fights….sorta. I’ve wanted to quit watching a few times because I’m just confused by the entire show, but at the same time, they’re both so stinkin’ cute and I want to support their hard work, especially after seeing their dynamics in their other series. I suppose if any reflection on this show should be made, it’s that the writing and overall production failed them. (But whomever is in charge of plant care gets a solid 10 rating from me, I’ve seriously bought two more plants into my home since I started watching this.) 🤷🏻‍♀️🪴

Was here for the group therapy that I so desperately need after watching YSL completely fall apart during this episode. I’ve got real trauma, that acting was some of the best I’ve seen in ANY series. Currently under a fleece blanket pondering my decision to watch, wondering why even though I KNEW what was coming, I still wanted to torture my emotions this morning. It’s like I’m FX, just self-sabatoging and self-destructing. 🥺 I’m in need of a spiked hot chocolate, some fuzzy slippers and my cat. 😂

I had an eclectic neighbor that lived down the street from me growing up, he once told a group of us neighborhood kids that listening to some of Ozzy’s songs backwards would reveal hidden messages. Has anyone ever tried watching this series backwards in an effort to understand the plot? If so, please tell me that the grunting turn into yodeling.

Hae Jun, whilst being treated with a mysterious bandaid: “Is this a punishment, or a reward?”
Me, confused: “I suspect that we’re ALL being punished.” 🤡
On the plus side though, that magically refilling water bottle is probably why those house plants are thriving….

I wish there was a way that I could insert the “We all float down here” meme from IT because we’re all clowns for tuning in to this mess every week, our only excuse is that it’s so ridiculously bad that it’s good. So welcome to the chaos, “You’ll float too.” 😂
