Episode 2 feels even shorter than the last one 🥲

Love how Lal and Wine’s relationship is progressing, insane chemistry aside they’re getting to know each other better by having honest conversations about clashing at work and also having each other’s back. the guy trying to pressure Wine into drinking at the party had me fuming fr even though I knew Lal would come to the rescue. The idea that drinking is part of workplace etiquette and refusing alcohol is somehow “disrespectful” or being a wet blanket is just such bs… Lal putting him in his place was so satisfying. The contrast between Lal being confident and totally in her element around other coworkers while secretly being a dork bc of her crush on Wine is EVERYTHING. that happy little dance she did when she got the note 😭

gmmtv truly hit the jackpot with janjingjing, their first series together and they’re already knocking it out of the park. Wine explaining why she took the blame for the email mishap and sharing her past trauma with Lal was exactly the kind of communication we need more of, plus the establishment of sober consent. it’s genuinely so refreshing seeing GLs with more mature themes and main characters who act like adults.

Mim making her cameo has me looking forward to bake love feeling even more now, Cheese is so cute and I need more of her friendship with Wine. it’s the way Wine was practically a different person around her friend, they had such natural banter… with the flashback too we see how Wine was much less guarded before people started gossiping and she consequently felt the need to meet higher/impossible standards. Then there’s Lal slowly changing Wine’s perspective and showing her it’s okay to not be the best at everything all the time, especially if you’re having fun… I love these two so much

You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for this series, because I’m already loving Almond and Progress so much—they’re my new little protected ones 😭.

This first episode was so good. Everything feels fresh, and I absolutely loved the colors and overall vibe. I have a lot of faith in this series, and I really hope everything goes well for the cast.

I was absolutely obsessed with Love Sick so really happy to see AlmondProgess again. Loved KenPaul in Boys in Love too, so this series should in theory be right up my alley.

I enjoyed the first four episodes as well. The first episode was slow moving for me but I pushed through. By the end of episode two I was hooked. Compared to the other Chinese BL’s that I have enjoyed this one was a lot calmer. So at first I thought I wouldn’t be able to get into it. I was so wrong. I’m loving the backstory of both of the main characters and I’m looking forward to seeing how both couples move forward now.

(It takes me a few episodes to learn the character’s names so please forgive me for the nicknames.) The photographer grew on me. I find him too cute and endearing and I’m really looking forward to seeing him and the artist together.

The Editor deserves every award handed to Film Editors worldwide just for Hao Wei's dream in reverse. 🏆 It was s.t.u.n.n.i.n.g!!!

Every time I think this drama couldn't possibly get any more visually sumptous, they prove me wrong. Sooo beautiful.

Anyhoo, from the very beginning, I was like, "Okay, what the heck's going on here?" Once I realized he was being erased, I was all, "Wait... What, The. Fcuk?!?" Mind Blown. Wishing upon the Shooting Stars is a stunner. Now I really HAVE to read the novel it's adapted from. Buuut... where can I find it?

Now, it's back to Soul Mate.

Just watched it at work (ssssh don't tell my boss). Very cute/light story which is what I need in a world of current BL's which make me cry (LYT, LUAT to name two 👀 ).

All young actors are doing a great job!

I like we’re getting movement on the second couple but I have to admit everything feels so slow in this series. I mean, we’re only on episode four but it feels like we should’ve had more progress or something at this point at least to me something feels a little disjointed. But I’m still enjoying it.

I also still can’t tell if homeboy is just really dumb or he does know that that’s not his childhood crush and this is a part of a bigger game.

I do think it is a little wild that the parents “fake” married them… for all my talk about the series moving slow that was definitely really fast 😅

But hey at least they didn’t get interrupted this time… although keeping the socks on was a choice 😅

I'm so happy that they made this episode nearly 2 hours long, I was getting super stressed by the remaining time as we saw how much of the show was left to sort out, and I wanted Lada and Apo to get a happy ending.

I'm glad that we got to see a bit of a redemption of Lada's mom. (Even before this she was much more sympathetic than anything, but considering how many shows go to so much work to redeem much more unpleasantly presented characters, I'm glad that they gave this scene some space to breathe. I appreciate that she understood that Lada loved Apo and supported it, and also that Lada was using her as an excuse to avoid being hurt again, which she pushed her not to do. For someone as traumatized by her own relationships in the past, that was very sweet.

I liked the reconciliation scene enough, but I kind of wished that Apo had made it a point to explain that she didn't want to be talented, she wanted to be happy. Like if this hadn't been a scheme by Apo's father, and if she'd actually quit (and to be honest it seemed like she might, even before they come up with the plan.) It'd have been because she wasn't really happy at work before, and now she had all these memories of Lada there as well. The way she burst into tears was heartbreaking, and sure they made up after, but that's kind of an important conversation to have.

The Marriage proposal was a little out of left field, but I get it. Girl was traumatized by how things ended, the minute it looked like Lada was flagging she had to lock it down fast, xD. The wedding itself was cute, getting to see the cousins messing with Lom and setting her up for her role as the next lady to fall in love.

I do also wish we'd gotten a bit of NatePreem stuff, Meena and Xobam were very cute in Love unlimited, but I'm unsure how much creative control MGI had over this whole deal.

I do find it hilarious that Rose went from 'I'm a Gen Z girl, I won't get married unless I actually love someone' to being this flustered at the idea that Apo and Lada slept together before they got married. Very cute. And kind of funny that she assumed that Apo was just as restrained and inexperienced as Din had been.

Kind of wish they'd just let the dad die, tbh. Though, Pat stealing all of the family's money and causing them to go bankrupt is especially troublesome when you realize he'd helped his father shanghai Lada into that marriage, and she'd have gone down with the rest of them if her mom hadn't gotten her out. Truly the skeeviest of the 'shitty familial members of queer ladies' thai gl club.

Kind of wild that Lada's mom went back to taking care of that monster of a man, considering that he spent half of her life blackmailing her. Woman is entirely too kind for her own good. I hope that he truly hates having to be constantly babied by a pair of women that he constantly looked down on.

All in all it was a good episode, but I'm looking forward to next weekend. It's been so long since we've gotten to see Freen and Becky on screen together and I cannot wait.

The actors wrote goodbye letters to their characters and they are so sweet. It was like reading two diary entries 🥰

This is a well rounded ending. After dealing with that hejin guy, those swoon worthy scenes of the first lead couple was everything I’d need. The leads did well and hope to see more of them soon.
I just have to say the diary being told from Kekes perspective, was beautiful. When Yulei read it, I got pretty choked up. It felt nostalgic and heartwarming. I didn’t think the final ep would hit me hard but it did. Recently, CBLs are climbing up there!!

Too many great dramas to start, especially since I still have other on-air shows to watch, but I'm not gonna let that stop me...

Now THAT ladies and gentlemen is what we call downbadism, using any excuse to see them is a telltale symptom. Oh, and the puppy-dog eye fuc*ing is one of the biggest.
I like that we finally have the official crossover...with a show we haven't seen yet. Speaking of the "shared universe", are any other shows part of this one? I know Bake Love Feeling is and I heard Whale Store was but it can't be as Jingjing plays 2 different characters. I love the scenes when they were back at the house...AND they didn't have sex when they were drunk. Progress.
If this show continues at this quality this might be my favourite GL of the year, it's so light-hearted and fun, I love it.

I liked the episode I think the whole series got better after around ep6, which imo makes sense as for a 12 ep GL they need to build the story first

HOWEVER I hate that the most anticipated scene for PrimBambi got interrupted by a phone call, and for ShashaGorya we barely got a smooch, although the episode built so much tension for them 😩 I also think they cut the bathtub scene

What a fun 1st episode .. LOL..Its hilarious with the over the top (but still subtle somehow) acting out of imaginary scenes... hahaha... I was laughing out loud through out the show.. am cracking at their reference to the >!King's Warden (isn't it?) with that chief's comment about (Park JiHoon) with tragic hero eyes that bring tears to every1 who look at them.!<.. (something along that line).. XDD 🤣🤣.. Looking forward to the next episode.

Time travel is always such a hard concept to write about in media, but still. Completely agree with the sentiments about the ending being meh or needing an ‘Epilogue/Special Ep’. 

My hope while watching it, and idky they didn’t go this route versus the melodramatic minutes-long starring montage, is that artist dude would be running around trying to find old flame dude and randomly get a call like, “Jagiya, why aren’t you home yet? Dinner’s getting cold’. Like if you’re going to rewrite the future entirely, to the point where a character comes back from the dead, it makes little to no sense that they somehow spent over 10 years separated. What separated them before was literal death, what separated them in the new timeline was a damn text message or phone call.

I liked the premise and the pacing wasn’t bad in the first half, but the show could have been much better with a different, fuller ending.

The beauty of this drama is overwhelming. The fate of the house saddens me so... all the time knowing that it's all fiction. Sigh. And Sakutaro's whole speech about Kuji growing old in this multigenerational home was both beautifully written and performed. *Life in Smokey Blue* is hitting hard.

Oh, and one time, my mother made banana bread, and she also put raisins in it. Kuji is right. It's awful.

This was such a roller coaster, I love Japanese humor 😂

Good on Fumaki for forcing Kaji to apologize. Kaji is a lost cause, he's such a himbo I don't think he would have figured it out without the push.

Took long enough for Ray to realize that Gaysorn can't swim 😂 It's odd that he can't though, being raised in nature.

I am enjoying this show a lot even though it's predictable. Although, I don't care for these scenes that are so popular in Thai BL where there is an almost kiss interrupted by a comedic moment (in this case, the chair breaking... Arguably also with the fruit scene, but that was more a cute than comedic interruption). Who are all the people that like these types of scenes so much that they keep doing them over and over? 😭

We finally have a dark historical with lots of fighting/martial arts and plot for days. The opening sequence, even though we don't even know the characters yet, I was already in tears.

Then my gaga app froze on my TV and I can't fix it 😂 so I will move on to something else for now but if you like historical cdrama DON'T SKIP THIS!!!

This is my new obsession. I loved every single scene from these two eps. I’ve been desperate for an ex reunion plot and this is delivering. I am so curious about how they’ll get back in a relationship in the present day. It feels like both of them have changed quite a lot. Let Lu Feng chase begin, he must be dying inside and desperate after years of separation.

I instantly felt the chemistry between the leads. I couldn’t stop grinning esp the ring scene. The fact he still wears the ring and hid his hand in his pocket.
Lu Feng is so possessive and straightforward. I was a bit iffy about the whole consent bed scene but i’m glad YiChen told him off for it. At the same time, I couldn’t help but like this wolf side of LuFeng lol I feel like that’s why LuFeng didn’t go too far in the office bathroom scene. I bet he would’ve kissed YiChen, if it was his young self.

YiChen’s little brother is going to understand very soon. I love the little snippet. I wish there was at least a support friend for YiChen and LuFeng. But I guess that’s why they’re meant for each other, cause no one else understands.

This wait for another ep is torture already!!
