What an emotional rollercoaster this episode was.. I was so moved by it, especially the scenes between Niran and Pete hit me in the feels..🄺 First, the scene of Niran saying to Pete to accept the demon as a part of himself, which helped him in the fog, then the scene of Pete finding Niran and reassuring him that he has him and everyone else by his side, which made Niran smile (such a precious reaction..😣✨) and then my favourite; Pete finding out about his sister. That was such an intense scene and so heartbreaking for both sides.. I was trembling the entire time and I ended up crying.. 10/10šŸ‘ŒšŸ»šŸ¤§šŸ’–

But god am I glad Niran released the demon the saved Pete's sister, cause this could have ended up pretty dark.. When Fei said that they couldn't save his sister, but they saved more people, I lost it, cause yes it would be one thing of they told Pete truth from the very beginning and made peace with that and another to sneakily use him, so he won't back off from the plan..😶

Personally, I still don't think that Sira's logic was that wrong or insensitive. Sure we don't know how far Li Puo will go or if he has his own agenda, but originally the plan was for the prime minister to back down, because according to Bao Cheng he used him for his money and then turned his back on him. Like, can we remember who started this and why the students' souls were devoured in the first place? And so far it seems that if they actually didn't meddle, like Sira said, they wouldn't have reached this point.. Maybe, I'm naive I don't know..šŸ˜…šŸ˜Œ

don't be like me. don't make the mistake of watching a new episode on an empty stomach. because you will be filled with hunger and a sense of urgency to quench that hunger like nobody's business.

hwang seokho only having barely 1 star in his gourmet rating is hilarious because he sure loves to act like he's got the most exquisite taste lol i love his random english words

every time that darn mingu shows up, i get a knot in my stomach. he's so good at being a menace and i just hope he gets his comeuppance soon!!!

i’m loving it! the characters are very distinctive and act like real people do. lee jae wook is acting the hell out of this awkward, overly worrywart-ish, but extremely expressive doctor who hates his posting, while shin ye eun is killing it (as she always does~) as a bright, slightly flirty, but caring nurse who always has her hometown at heart. i like the residents too - they’re all old people, and old folks truly are so stubborn in thinking they know better than the doctors. they aren’t charming in a fictional way; they’re human, and i appreciate that a lot. the characters’ hijincks are funny (like the 80s cinema parody with the SML and FL, super funny ) - they’re shaping up to be a fun cast of characters. i’m enjoying the unique perspective we get of how these doctors will overcome their lack of understanding, and grow as doctors who serve for good! i like the anthology/slice of life format - i’ll let the drama take me where it wants to.

also shin ye eun is so pretty & cute, i would become a doctor just so she can hunt me šŸ¤šŸ‘‰šŸ‘ˆ lol but im excited and curious to see how her character will develop, bc i, too, get the sense we are missing a LOT about her character

I feel like I’m missing a chapter. I’m only 15 minutes in so maybe things will be explained but if homeboy knew everything and his grandma knew everything then other homeboy does have a little bit of the right to be upset that they did the fake wedding and that they slept together and everything Sure he should’ve never lied in the first place, but obviously there are some taking advantage of here

And I’m still very confused. I feel like I missed a whole chapter somewhere.

The real drama and the reason behind Wine's trauma, insecurities and the reason why her walls are so high will be revealed next week! I almost thought they changed things and made New the big bad in Wine's life, but no, they're bringing in the real villain.

This series is so nuts... but still so funny. The dialogue is i.n.s.a.n.e!

"I'm so lucky to have a girly husband."

"Is this the hospital? Someone is dying. Please come here quickly."

Lawd! šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£ I have to wonder what the writer was smoking, drinking, and otherwise ingesting.

it was good but the story changed a little bit and was tweaked, there’s a lot of scenes as well that would make episode 3 a little bit better. And the casting, I’ll give it a 9/10, actors are good but the management change a lot of their appearances and personality. My Han-Rim should have her black and white outfit and the iconic red hair from the novel and the manhwa. But the verdict for this new drama would be 8.5/10.

It’s my personal opinion since I have followed and re-read true education(mahwa name) for a long time.

I had to pause multiple times during that rooftop scene because my anxiety was through the roof. The acting was incredible, every expression, every line, every second of silence had me on edge. I honestly didn’t know how things were going to end.

This episode was such an emotional rollercoaster. One moment I was laughing, the next I was holding my breath, and by the end I was completely heartbroken. The cast absolutely delivered, especially during the confrontation scenes. Easily one of the most intense episodes so far, and I was glued to my screen the entire time.

I was as excited for this episode as I was for the first one and they didn't disappointed. Every week I say that it was my favourite episode and that they cannot do better and yet, every week they are proving me wrong. It's been a while since I was that obsessed with a series and it feels really good. The political discourse has me hooked, o cannot wait how it will be further discussed once the demon is sealed. Jia Hao is a fun terror, I love him 🤣 The whole gang to be honest, they are all really dear to me. So, now that Niran and Pete are married, oups not married, soul binded, Pete can rest assured, he has his house back šŸ™‚ā€ā†•ļø Amazing episode and I cannot wait for the next one because that cliffhanger should be illegal

Ok wow this weeks episodes topped the first two by leaps and bounds. First of all I am glad that Bang Guel and her dad are cooperating with each other. Damn did he have to dig hard at her with her issues against him. Also the fact that she feels like he just threw her away because he didn't love her it was heartbreaking. You can tell in that scene when she was taken away that he didn't like it either. That was regret that he had to do so. He did it to protect her and after seeing what the twins are doing especially trying to kill him. His was correct on his assumption for sending her away. I do love that he is starting to see that his youngest is useful and smarter than he thought she was. I do hope next week that she finds out the full truth before she gets more confused on his intentions. You can tell he deeply loves his wife and youngest. I feel for his wife being treated like trash in that big house without him there. I wish she would move out. Kang Yo needs to tell Sun Jae who he is before it's too late. Especially since he is tailing him and doesn't know it. He needs to be clued in on his identity just like Bang Guel. She is gonna be pissed he didn't tell her the full truth but I can see why he didn't at first. I really wanted to see them bond more before she knows though. With 8 episodes left I don't see it going past episode 6 without her knowing the full truth. He did underestimate his oldest and did get to cocky. But he doesn't have the nickname God of Business for nothing. He will find a way to talk himself at it and push her buttons. That cliff hanger had us thinking she knew he was her dad in Hwang Jun-hyeons body but I don't think thats the case. I think in the preview when he is yelling who he really is it will be at Sun Jae. Because I am guessing they will have a massive confrontation over why he is using his own suite and has the access to his own safe. Like I said he needs to clue him in. Especially since he already picked up his presence when he talked about his first job being his first love. Episode 5 and 6 are gonna be a wild ride for sure. I am really loving this kdrama and the main lead. This is the first non romance kdrama I have ever watched and I am absolutely loving it. Also for a bodyswap storyline lover this one is in my top 3 for bodyswap kdramas.

I’m feeling whiplash after finishing ep 2, I can barely breathe properly. It was so intense, I’ll have to watch it again, immediately. I’m struggling so bad to find the right words to describe what I’m thinking lol. I have to say the music and editing have been perfect to create that feeling too.

We ended ep 1 on a serious and tense note so I was quite surprised to see how cheerful and light the first part of this episode was. I initially thought tanrak would take a more friendly but super careful/restrained approach to Barth but he yet again surprised me when he ā€œacceptedā€ Barth’s playful ways right away. I guess it’s the perfect excuse that Father told him he needed to treat him better.

It’s like Tanrak simply can’t be immune to Barth’s charm, but I don’t even mean in a romantic way, in a way that makes him immediately more lenient - they just click. I loved that it’s not like Barth was trying to seduce him, he is just playful, there’s natural banter, and they have this innate chemistry. It doesn’t help that Barth keeps seeking out Tanrak in the first part of the ep, going to the choir, practicing music together. That was the PERFECT build up for the guilt Tanrak feels at the end. I was questioning myself ā€œisn’t this ep too (?) light at first?ā€ because it almost felt out of place with the seriousness of ep 1 but again, it serves to give us that build up and creates this whiplash effect at the end when Tanrak can’t contain his guilt.

The scene where Barth keeps insisting on asking Tanrak about what his name means is so good. He could have easily brushed it off but we’re seeing that his insistence really caused Tanrak to open up - like he did when he talked about his mom’s rosary. It’s those simple gestures that increase their bond. When tanrak was practicing the piano and Barth said ā€œIf something is stressing you out, you can tell me,ā€ he shows how perceptive he is. The piano scene where Barth also says he identifies with that note because it feels like it doesn’t belong… pain. Also when Barth jokes about Tanrak being too good to be a master, because he won’t be able to scold anybody, whew. It’s so subtle but I’m sure it made Tanrak feel seen.

The way they look at each other makes me want to scream. I cannot commend Gemini and Fourth’s acting enough. Barth’s eyes are so… alluring. They’re flirty but they have not crossed any boundaries yet, we’re still in the plausible deniability phase. Ofc we as viewers know that there’s something there but Barth can easily come across as a simply charismatic person. In the first part of the ep Tanrak’s eyes are just full of adoration, of playfulness. ā€œInnocent.ā€ And it’s electrifying seeing how his eyes change when he’s reading that passage about love and you can see them slowly change into fear, guilt. It slowly creeps in, which then culminates into that last scene in the bathroom.

The theme of this ep was lust and temptation. The roti as a symbol of the forbidden apple etc. One thing I really liked is that Barth’s temptation isn’t coercive. He doesn’t take on the bad boy role where he’d outward/aggressively pressure Tanrak etc. Yes, he invites Tanrak to jump the fence but he doesn’t insist that much, he uses a quieter tone. I love that because it truly creates that fine line between coercion and temptation. Barth is opening the door and doing nothing more, just to see how Tanrak responds. Barth starts small, ā€œmakingā€ Tanrak lie about him being in the choir, then going to his bed after hours to talk about the brain teaser, offering him the roti, asking if he wanted to jump the fence, approaching him while he was peeing etc, but we can see how those things add up at the end to create absolute turmoil in Tanrak’s brain.

How can we not talk about those last 20 minutes of the ep??? My god. Suffocating. The tension, the looks. There is no dialogue but we can still hear Tanrak’s heavy breathing. Even with no dialogue we can feel every little thing Tanrak is feeling. It actually drives me insane to know that Barth was awake when Tanrak went to the bathroom. The scene where Tanrak was touching himself in bed was super intense, but can we talk about the faucet scene?? The way his fingers brush the faucet. The metaphor of him trying to wash away his sins but he still can’t stop his hand from touching his lips. He closes the faucet as if he knows there is no way he can wash those thoughts away and looks at the stalls. The way Tanrak is looking at himself in the mirror and having to not only look at his physical image but inward at his conflicting feelings. Him ultimately giving in and closing the bathroom stall to literally and metaphorically hide what he was doing/feeling. The shame! Wow. There’s much more but I love the ton of metaphors and imagery in this series.

And finally, I’m curious as to Barth’s perspective of it all. Can he already tell how Tanrak is feeling? When did he notice? Are there things he’s doing to purposefully peak Tanrak’s interest in a romantic way or is this just really natural infatuation? He was clearly awake when Tanrak was pleasuring himself in bed, how much did he hear or did he just notice him going to the bathroom?

I’m gonna go insane, yall.

This show is so good and sooo underrated... I started it with no expectations and it became one of my fav BLs (if not my fav) airing at the moment. It's just so well done and artistic but I'm always dreading Zhang Wang and Xu yuan's impending doom because of the cancer.... It's either going to end really bad or they're gonna pull up some miracle and he gets better somehow... Zhang wangs death will be devastating for Xu Yuan (if it actually happens) and definitely not help with the jinx issue...

On My Grandpa Is a BL Writer 12 days ago
I only got ep 7 watched, but we got our first kiss šŸŽ‰ I'm glad Save finally took the initiative, although I think he still has a ways to go before Guy will believe him. Although teenage hormones will do a lot šŸ˜‚, it looks like next week is going to focus heavily on Save and Guy, but from the posters, it also looks like Grandpa's health issues are going to make a bigger appearance.

Grandpa continues to be interesting. He has warmed to the idea of writing BL but he still has his issues. I know he has deep connections to his writer friends, but what does it say about them that they also feel very elitist, and in the end, they aren't the ones actually helping him now. They weren't the ones helping him get his non BL work published and now they are just trashing his new work so I don't think they are very good friends. Save seems to be taking a lot of heat for his grandfather's work in different directions. I have a feeling this "lie" is also going to blow up in their faces at some point as well.

The different family views on gender did feel a little heavy-handed, but not nearly as bad as it could have been. I really did like the little moment they had between Grandpa and his mom.

I can't not believe how evil Taosar's family is. I thought at least in some tiny part that might be concerned for him in some way, but nope, they don't care about him at all. He is just a doll for them to play pretend with and they make me sick. They are flat-out CRIMINALS. I have no words for the way they didn't have an ounce of remorse when Taosar's mom show up.

Thank god for Daiji for telling Talay he sucked and standing up to him and for Kim for being there for Taosaur although I'm not sure I would have let him go back to Talay.

I will say I don't like how convenient it was that Taosar kept his memories enough to see Talay mess up his notebook, only then to black out and not remember anything. That was LAZY writing and a gimmick. But this show has been killing it on getting me invested and surprising me with the story twists.

I didn't like the look of the previews for next week. Is Tao saur backe with his fake family?! And why is Kim going back to Bangkok without his man? I'm going to be super pissed if the mom and brother win and keep screwing Tao saur's life up and they aren't together.
