Put all 32 of them in a Season 2 or split them up into four more seasons. I'm OK with that. π An hour per episode with flashbacks, too, if necessary. ποΈποΈποΈποΈποΈ
These 8 episodes were very high-quality stuff. π The rewatch-ability of this series is up in the same realm as 'My School President' and 'I Will Knock You', so I'll definitely be looking for anything that brings together this cast again.
I'll rewatch all 8 just to see the one scene at the end of Episode #7 again. π₯Ί
Boom boom boom and another big boom ππππ

. . .less if you remember the ingredients in my favorite drink. . . π§ . . .even less if you don't eat all of my shrimp. . . π¦π¦π¦π¦π¦
After making my way through Episode #3 and burning my eyeballs into the back of my head trying to read the subtitles. . . π«£
I have a new respect for Itt for how caring and compassionate he is helping Day. π€ Not only did Itt help him in the shower with his shoulders and arms, but he was also willing to help with his kneecaps, too. π§Όπ«§π§½π
This series got intense really fast. . .and makes me all the more excited to see what we get next week in Episode #5 & #6. I am on board with many here that love the :17-minute episodes. . .but at this point, I really want the 1:45:00 Director's Cuts for these. π All eight episodes. . . π₯°
Like last week, every one of the scenes here was 100% chemistry. π₯π₯΅π₯΅π₯ Every time we put Eddy & Ian in the same room, you can almost hear their heart rates jump up to 95 and watch any train of thought they had just go completely. π
That will have me returning for the next four episodes without hesitation. They can give us 34 more episodes, and that would be fine, too. π
Sponge baths, antiseptic, and flashbacks, too. . .bring it on. . . .anything except a wig. . . π§π½
Iβm gonna drop this and get me some cake for the wasted time. Yβall enjoy. π
Please stay. . .at least for the adventure of the subtitles. . . π€
Next week, we might get a scene where Day uses the shower, and we'll get : "I need to cleanse by way of the water receptacle". πΏ "Shampoo has the qualities of skin". 𧴠"My clean is in the water". π§Όπ«§
There might also be broccoli in Episode #3. . . π₯¦
This series has the makings of a great story, so I'm here again soon for Episode #2. π
The rudeness and contempt to start things off with this relationship was OK, mainly because we've seen this earlier to start off shows like 'My Engineer', 'Nitiman' and 'Bad Buddy'. ππ
Once we get them in the same room for a while, locate the antiseptic, get one of them drunk, and see a sponge bath. . .things will be fine. π₯° There is good chemistry here, even in the first episode, so I'll be back for sure.
I was losing my patience with where this was all going by the end of Episode #2, but I'm going to wait it out and see where we resolve the yelling and short tempers. π₯π«π«π₯
There's a 'Before' and an 'After' story in here, and I'm looking forward to seeing how they do it, and hopefully to forget about the full series full of angst we already got so far. π
I'll try not to overthink the storyline and just let it happen in the next few weeks.
Like Grandma always said, "Don't Think Too much. . .It Will Headache". π€£
When Pβaof is the director then we are in the save hands . Oh gosh that was good i love the cast my favorite…
I remembered that Aof did 'He's Coming to Me', but I'd forgotten that he had done 'Dark Blue Kiss', too. . .I still owe him 1000 thanks for giving the world 'The Kao Bear'. π¨
A lot of comments here criticising Eiw for being a "weak cry baby uke", and wanting stronger more masculine leads…
Thank you for saving me :20 minutes by saying exactly what I was going to reply about this. π₯° This is one of a dozen times someone has had to go back to this discussion here and quell the hatred again. β οΈπβ οΈ
Narcissists, haters and repressed homophobes (most of whom never even watched the series) will never understand what you had to say, but most people do, and I'm glad that you were here to say it. π
10/10 for the series! 10/10 for THIS review! These characters have become like the marrow in bones. Now thatβs…
It wouldn't take all of us very long to learn the 'Temple Dance'. . . πΊπ½ This dance scene is going to be stuck in my mind through at least 2026. π
I'll be somewhere laughing all at once, and the person next to me will ask, "What's so funny?", and I'll just answer, "Thi's at the Temple dancing again." ππΊπ½π
I could have gone on for another three paragraphs about all of the things that were packed into this series. . .that's why a rewatch is pretty much required reading for me. This will be one of those shows where it'll be talked about somewhere, and the next person will go, "Wait a minute. . .I didn't see that!" π¦
They'll be like me with the small details I almost missed the first time:
Like the breakfast Noey left for Thi after the sleep-over (which happened to be the same stuff that Thi paid for with him in the convenience store in his fried egg pajamas). ππ₯ͺπ₯ͺπ₯π₯π₯€π Or the fact that when Thi got on the back of the bike with Noey and that great big duck. . .all three of them were wearing helmets. ποΈπππ€ The fine details were endless. . .
This production had to be A LOT of very hard work, but they made all of it look like fun, even behind the scenes. π That's why I'm going to try to get out there and raise 90 Million Baht so Champ can do a Season 2. π€π°π°ππ°π°π€ If enough money is raised, maybe we can end up with a setup like "Kiss Me Again", "Dark Blue Kiss" and "Our Skyy" where we spin this series off into 3 or 4 more shows. π€£
If 90 Million Baht is enough. . .I'm not all that sure if that's an accurate figure. π€ 115 Million might be more realistic.
The only gauge I have to work with on a Thai BL series is that it likely has a total production budget equal to what China spent on each episode of "Love Between Fairy and Devil". π°π§π½ββοΈπ§π½ββοΈπ§π½π₯·π½π§π½π§π½ββοΈπ§π½ββοΈπ§π½π°

I'll consider it to be compensation for the false hopes and promises of not seeing Ram-King reunited over the last three years. π«€
