Almost…
This drama was pretty good initially, and due to the choppy way the episodes wete presented, there was very little fulfillment in the story line.
It was refreshing to see EY in a role where she was able to showcase her acting abilities instead of being cast as too cutesy and a bit brainless female. She is much better than thise tropes and needs more roles like this. I thought this was s great role for her.
The stories within each episode felt like you were in a time warp for most of them. You saw the beginning, the middle and sometimes the end without any development on how the ending came about.
One small thing for me was the
excessive amount of times the FL’s face ended an episode for several seconds. EU is a beautiful girl, but it was just odd how many and how long the fade to the next episode took.
The kids were great. Getting them away from believing that they were worthless and incapable of big things was the focus of the drama, as it was the same with the adults - which was more their own self talk limiting them. Some had trauma, some abuse, some were patental issues. it just proved the point that despite wealth or social status, everyone has problems everyone faces difficulties and hardships. And, rather than accepting that judgement, you also have a choice to prove them wrong as long as you find the right motivation and support. And, as someone can be those things for you, you, in turn, can be those things for
I just wish that the production company would have spent more time fling the story gaps, giving the ML more screen time (I think he is an excellent actor) and strengthening the story line.
Overall I gave it a 7.5 because despite the oddities I mentioned, I did enjoy the drama.
