Yes the plot is quite complicated with the off-world technologies and strategies. It's really interesting and kept me awake thinking about the possibilities!

It's really SO worth watching, found it almost by mistake. It's starts off a bit slow but towards episode 12 and onwards it gets very exciting. I even skipped watching some New Year's fireworks as I was binging this!

This is absolutely one of the better fantasy series I've watched this year! I guess due to the lesser known actors, it got so little publicity, exposure and comments. Everyone did very well even thought they're not "idols". I'm so looking forward to Season 2 - please please. I'd rate this an 8.5 for plot and originality.

I wonder if the judges eat before they judge, else they'd be so hungry that the first batch of food would taste better. I haven't seen any "cleansing of palate" either (is that hidden?)

this cliffhanger at the end of every episode is so annoying - if we want to watch the next episode we will and if not, then the cliffhanger isn't going to help anyhow

The way to perfect revenge is to have anyone you care for - gone. Else your enemies can leverage your love for them to manipulate you or those around you. When one no longer has anyone to live for, that's the frame of mind to be in - you can risk whatever to kill when your own heart has already died.

Such a challenging but rewarding journey for both of their characters, their farewells are beautiful and encouraging (even with Google translate). I miss them already.

I think the rating is fair, compared to 8.4 for Goodbye my Princess which was to me, the best of CXX's performance. We just got used to the high ratings from teenagers for brainless romcoms and strong females

What are you watching next?

I loved this drama for (1) the unusual story about the impact of alien forms on earth's inhabitants (2) the subtle but heart-touching romance (3) the dedication of the folks in fighting evil despite their own traumatic backgrounds and lack of training. What makes me rate it high - the fact that I couldn't wait to see the next episode and woke up early to wait for it, and that even in a fantasy world, it reflected reality because nothing turns out the way we want for any of us. There's always some residual development and sorrow that we have to deal with, and the "why's" will never be answered.

i'm confused. Does NJL's mom live in the cave in collaboration with the earth fiends (the same ones who followed LXR) or with what is called earth demons (are they different)? And does the pink gel in which NJL was wrapped help them to live forever?

I like CXX, he's handsome and talented, but seems amiable and humble - not some vain pretentious diva
