All Villains died as well. They don’t really focus on the ending tbh only Fuzhi and Zhishu has some what of the best ending. But leads were separated for a few years. It seems like this drama loved 3 years time jump lol

Out of the 3 men’s that were close to him 2 died only Zhishu was revived. Huang Bo died and Di Nian died all protecting Ying Gua and what he loves no matter what. They could have revived them all like they did with Zhishu. Di Nian finally got his wish and way more than he could ever dream of and never found out.

All I can say that it was nice to see that all of Ying Gua’s friends and people he chose never betrayed him and never failed his trust. They did the outmost to protect what he loves even MTH. It sad that this drama gave them such an ending to such loyal souls that never had true happiness.

Some time went by, it didn’t instantly happen after they got married. She finally open her heart to him before he went to war because he healed her and showed her that his love was not meant to possess her but to always be there for her no matter what she wants to do. She fell in love even more after he left but sadly they ruined it for them. Finally finding someone that truly love her despise it all. I am not sure if it’s hinted but I felt like her and Gu chancellor had sex prior but it may be just my analysis.

I stand corrected on what I thought was what in this drama and who I thought would be a villain was not. However poor Di Nian was a green forest 🌳 this whole drama and finally got his wish and more than he ever wish for was waiting for him back at home and they did that to him just wow. That’s the only thing that I am disappointed in beside the weird ass plot. Waste of good actors 🙂‍↔️😖

The type of protection provided to the gangs and all those schemers alliance has to come from someone close to the emperor as well, because he knows the emperor’s every move more than the left chancellor. We can see the spark between Zhili and Qing which means a love story will bloom . If Nian is green forest why didn’t he earn her love ?
