That is really not a bl scene....and I know bl is banned in China.....🤣 I have known that for past 5 years....it's been so long waiting for those Dangai dramas to be out .....and I know bromance is also sort of banned but when I said tencent is timid is coz other broadcasting networks have released some bromance themed shows over the past few months(2024 itself) with lot of implied erotic hints without trimming them,...and that was possible coz those dramas weren't based on bl novels that is why i said that ,...example LSR, (youku) , WCL(iqiyi) & BT(mgtv) these three dramas all based on non bl source novels have top tier level bromance without any censorship slaughtering effect....so isn't tencent proved to be the scaredy cat here, when its rival broadcasting networks can do that why can't it ??..... Also I am not a bl fan,.....I am only into bromance .....those Bromance scenes aren't going to drop any bl hints anyways......It just takes a little bit cleverness & courage to pass censorship.....MLC(iqiyi) is best epitome of that

All the dramas you mentioned do have bromance along with romance .. ....So I haven't watched any of them except lost tomb series....also I understand the indignation due to unnecessary female characters accompanying male characters but I think that has always been the sine qua non to bypass the NTRA censors against bromance but I think this drama would be worth my time if the female lead is not romantically paired with any of Male leads.....

I didn't feel his chemistry there with Jiang long....I am not blaming him though cos in my opinion that show had poorly written script.... I didn't see any bromance in tiger & crane ...it was just sort of friendship based but it failed to live upto my expectations... this is my personal opinion..... See guys, I mean no hate but seeing all Zhang Linghe current dramas out one after the another,...all of them so hopelessly romantic & possessive ...And Zhang Linghe has that aura of Romanticism....I can't believe it If i watch him playing bromance....he doesn't have any chemistry with his male costars in his previous works....I doubt him playing Hua Cheng would be as whipped for our Xie Lian in the drama as it was in the donghua 😭...... In any of Zhang Linghe previous dramas, that I had come across, I didn't see him exhibiting micro/nano expressiveness which is a very essential trait for all Dangai /bromance dramas to convey the depth of relationship between the male leads and still go unnoticed by censorship...... Even though I am willing to take anything they give us if it ever releases but I still wished if some other actor could play Hua Cheng ......
