Okay whatever!, I just feel like because of one actor,the whole cast shouldn't be implicated..... Isn't it better to remove the Scenes of that LKY actor instead of cancelling the drama....
What can be even done now ,the drama is shot, the actors who acted in it have all got their pay so does that rapist ......Is it any harm to him if the drama actually cancels??? I think so NO!
I agree with you 💯 that such kind of actors should be boycotted from industry ....but drama getting cancelled will have next to no effect on that debauch......If drama getting cancelled leads to the cancellation of the actor itself, then it could be worth it.....but I don't think so that's gonna happen
Had it been China, then the actor would have been immediately blacklisted, but this is South Korea we are talking abt......
But Anyways I too hope for that rapist to receive punishment and get his licence terminated even if it leads to cancellation of the drama!!!

For Chinese dramas, that have certain actors charged with rape allegations, etc are blurred out from the drama or their scenes are edited, cut or entirely removed so that it doesn't affect the entire drama....after all the whole cast is not at fault, why bother implicating their hardwork because of one actor ......why should entire staff, crew and production's hardwork go in vain......
And it's strange how people are hating on this drama for it being censored,, I mean is bromance a bad thing or what....there aren't many Korean dramas that are completely bromance devoid of romance like in China there's untamed, word of honour, killer & healer and many more ......I mean There are endless total BL and Total BG dramas but if you talk about exclusively bromance shows, that are very few in number, you can count them on your fingers!
As of me, I like exclusively Bromance dramas and am happy South Korea produced one without bl cringe, Hope it sees the light of day ......

The Story Overall was good according to me....the drama was very much slow paced and it kinda lacked witty characters.....but I liked the development of Protagonist and some shreds of bromance scattered here and there .

These three dramas are based on detective fictions as the central theme and they also have great bromance devoid of romance but they are not adapted from bl novel like The Spirealm

The story of Yi Zhi Hua's character is so beautiful and pitiful at the same time.....how he wandered in the wilderness to survive, had no one to count on , no friend to rely on....got alienated by his own mother, deserted by his own people.......He had to do everything alone all by himself , a victim of circumstances......had been aloof for such a long time....He became almost a misanthropic, and could not sense humanity in any being around him because everyone isolated him and either they sought to exterminate his existence or use his blood for their freaking fixations with so-called immortality......No one ever talked to him humanely unless he met QJZ....evn though he ended up killing him in the end but I think YZH as person was not exclusively evil....He had a heart, had warmth in it but just didn't knew how to express it.... couldn't trust people as everyone had used him in the past.....but he and QJZ can be somewhat like friends, ......when QJZ set him free to rescue the slave soldiers, YZH had the opportunity to kill QJZ to stop him from controlling him but he didn't dared to do that....for the first time in his life since his transformation , someone was considerate with him., didn't want to take advantage of him and talked to him without being wary of his transformation.
YZH had a potential and skills both, had he been a psychic killer ,he could have killed almost everyone he met ...sometimes he had to kill people instinctively just to defend himself.....got a craving for drinking their blood after they'd be dead coz he got mutated and his brain signalled him to do that.....he also acquired the sardonic traits.....but later he only killed those who deserved to die, mostly who were culprits and committed wrongful acts.......I think He killed QJZ in the fit of the moment to protect himself but he didn't mean to kill him like he said.....
He had been cynical and anti-social for so long but he got softened at the end after witnessing the puissance of friendship and conscientiousness in CJR members and their devotion for fighting injustice....!

I really liked that blood filled the cup case of those two girls viz, Sun Xiaoying And Liu Er......these two strived and struggled so damn hard to escape from the vicious cycle of human trafficking..... Fortunately, one of them made it out alive but only to be killed later by that bloodthirsty self-obsessed beast WZ......I felt so tearful for both of them.....
LE went to such great lengths by putting poison on her skin and going herself alone to confront that Vampirical beast just to get her friend's body back and also avenge for her death......
Even though Liu Er had the chance to abandon her past after she finally tasted the freedom but she didn't chose to leave instead decided to stay and settle scores with the murderers of her friend ....
As, now freedom to her was not that Important as was the revenge for SXY.....perhaps because Sun Xiaoying was the only kindest soul she 'd ever met in her life who invoked in her the hope for emancipation.

I feel so bad that Iqiyi had to delete (coz of Censorship) that scene from the drama from LB & QJZ' s past where he climbed on his back ......that was quite bromantic for me .....😍
I finished the drama today after a long time finally.....
As I finally got the time , I binged the last 13 eps in one go and kept replaying at every instant to get more details of each n everything connected to the plot and their lil-bit hilarious moments .....I loved everything in this drama, all the cases, the team of six CJR members (hexahedron), the story each case conveyed,....bromance & friendship everything was on par for me.....
Can't seem to put up with the ratings here as it can mislead people who are going to watch the show if ever they are interested in this sort of genre.....
Ergo I want to mention certain things from the drama which was subtly depicted coz of censors but for those who have constantly been into the dangai genre, they can tell at one glance what they are trying to express, as it's the only possible way of C-Drama makers to show depth of ML-ML bond
.......Someone who had read the novel once talked about this in the comments section, that Wang Qi had a crush on Cui Bei in the source material ......And I got to witness this in the drama indirectly....It was subtle for general audience but I had been an Avid dangai watcher so It was obvious for me .....
Ofcourse these are my own speculations so naturally it's not possible for many to agree with me ...everyone sees things differently, so do I .....Thus, I don't want any judgemental people to lambaste🙅 my remarks and quote it in the form of bl thingy....coz what I want to highlight is ‘ BROMANCE ’ and yes you read that word right.....I only like bromance , bl is not my type nor is romance, they all fall under the same category for me whether they try to show romance btw two same genders or btw opposite gender, they ultimately trample the logic in the plot and story and make it disoriented from the ratiocinative POV....Just like some people like romance, some people like BL, the same way I like Platonic Bromance & friendship, I hope so I made myself clear, people can agree and disagree .. Upto them🤷

Now back to my Analysis:
WQ and CB become very close towards the end, LB ends up pairing them as team most of the time he allots each of them a task to do....and these two had grown so platonic over the period of time .....I remember how at that time when CB found the details of Wu Yiren after thorough scrutiny and he was so eager to spill everything out to his Bros, but he kept looking at WQ the entire time he was talking without even catching a breath😂
Also that funny moment, when WQ lost his temper as he couldn't find anything about that stone Black Rakshasa left for them as a clue.....and then he ask CB is it necessary to write down every thing and CB cutie replies back "Yes"🤣 and then WQ goes like "If you say so then it must be"😭
When these two cross-dressed as women , and were breaking the bowls to extort clues from the Painter, these two looked so lovely BROMANTIC couple to me when CB looks at WQ before giving him the bowl to break🤭
Another moment, When CS brought these two with him to Chen village to find the letter his brother sent.....CB and WQ kept holding onto each other everytime they encountered dangers, for other characters also it's the same as it is a friendship Centered plot but I found it a bit more dominant btw these two...
In the last ep, when CB asked WQ & SB to help him arrange the dossiers in the library, and both of them then turned their backs on him to deny but CB only turned WQ around to take him alongwith him to help him......also when they all were setting the fireworks , and WQ climbed on CB's back.....was so so doubly bromantic🤩

Next I want to talk about LB and QJZ' s relationship....What exists between them is not merely a simple friendship but more deeper of a bond as it's portrayed towards the end.....
When YZH told QJZ that you are so annoying , your friend also might not be any better than you....and the way General Qiu scolded him saying that "You are not allowed to talk about him like that" ........🥰🥰
During their teenage , when LB was teaching QJZ how to write characters in their study and he accidentally noticed the 🌿 stuck on QJZ's hair bun and then he later felt so happy that QJZ repaired that tree in his house.....
The fact that General Qiu took such a Perilous path for saving LB by the help of YZH and then he later worked even harder to find the antidote to turn him back into a normal being.....just defines the Intensity of their bond.....Moreover, He kept that wallet LB gave to him in the past by his side until his very last moment......😍
The scene where LB helped QJZ catch a fugitive and LB later asked him about HJ and QJZ asks LB if he knows her well??? Looked so bromantically jealous😜

I didn't included everything here but like these , there a lot of subtle hints in the drama alluding towards the extremity of friendship and Bromance.....but it's too subtle for everyone to notice but I hope people can enjoy the drama the way they want ......I just put forth my own observations....no offence !😁✌️

I am currently occupied with huge loads of work...so I am lagging behind in episodes...but I am enjoying the series so much...each episode a day makes my day so wonderful & enjoyable....
I just watched ep 21 and have to admit that Sun Bao & his bro Xu hu were such a great fighting duo together....their fighting scenes were so astounding & awe- inspiring.....🥰☺️
I can rewatch this drama 1000x times ....🤭every character is so much bromantic....I don't see romance anywhere in this and that being the reason for it to be downvoted but for me it's even more the reason to love it......
Such a depiction of friendship and Bromance is rare in C-drama land in present era🫣

Now I am thinking, that MDL is 💯% hijacked by the downvoters and Antis....like this is on another level...Can it go even more down than this.....?

Another Chinese Bromance mystery drama, In this drama there was one case....where a Princess played two characters in order to execute her revenge plan.....in that she was brewing a conspiracy to assassinate the emperor coz of her past hatred and so she hid her identity and remained crossdressed as a guard and at other times when someone would go to visit her in her palace, she did switch to her Princess clothes back in time to appear there...and no one doubted her until last moment....
But you are right as There is big difference between princess & empress .....Empress holds more authority under her..she cannot possibly go out without
guards....😅

Yess....He was such a cool Sniper in Operational Special Warfare drama ....I loved his character soo much there and here too which is contradictory to that one....

I don't why but I feel like the brothel girl who is LB's informant is only the empress ...coz everytime LB goes to visit her she is always alone ..I mean like there is no guest in her room everytime she is shown...and who except the empress can have the authority to do that....
Secondly in ep 16, when LB ask her if she is looking for magic pill to cure some illness or for anti -aging then her facial expression showed signs of being exposed so she tried to cover it up by either fabricating the story of her father's death or she told LB the half truth.....Till now , No own has ever seen the empresses face, its possible that she could be the one....I feel like that....🤔
