Moreover which actor in C-dramaland doesn't have scandal & rumours .....all thanks to toxic fandam culture😤.....if an actor is proved to have been involved in some sort of grave crime, then that would be my only reason to ignore his/her project or works even if it falls under my fav genre otherwise not.....coz actors are also humans, they can't live a saintly life.....they will also do what all humans do : mistakes....
I tbh praise actor through their acting not their personal life history & records.....coz nobody's clean chit.... every human has flaws & darksides...it's just that in case of actors, these things can't stay hidden coz of the nature of their work......
As long as an actor can bring alive the character through his acting, I don't mind missing out on their works just based on simple scandals & unproven hearsays or anti-talks

I feel the same..🤗.for me Johnny Huang is the most genuine actor...you can feel him in any character that he's portraying....very few actors can bring out that natural vibe....

The bromance between Xiaohai & Bei Ge...I wonder how it passed censorship ..the bathtub scene & folding scene.... perhaps NTRA officials forgot to scrutinize properly the whole drama😂.......
I remembered the similar sort of bathtub scene in ALON (ZP with his Lil bro) was removed from the actual drama in fear of censorship..... similarly piggy-bank ride scene was removed from the WCL( LB & QJZ) for the very same reason
I must praise Youku, to release bromance dramas .....and even organise fully-fledged promotion events ,etc...

I feel like GYR's father is being kidnapped by Jiang Xiaohai 's sister or his sister's boss Xiao Ma Ge......They must have forced GYR's dad to devise a formula for manufacturing of drugs.....or something like that....The way I see it coming, it doesn't seem like GYR dad is dead ..he is definitely alive, and the reason why LWL threw his blood stained chemist apron must have been to prevent GYR from looking for his dad assuming he's dead......so they can continue to use his father by deploying some leverage on him(maybe his son or something else)

For me it's just simply two non-romantic male characters caring for each other where it's pretty much obvious they are partially or wholly not interested in women but definitely more interested in taking care of their bros...., doing everything for them, but very subtly depicted coz you know there is something called as Censorship so bromance/brotherhood is also censored to make it more CCP friendly and able to broadcast.....
