The dialogue where haishi speaks to zhouying about the cause and effects that killed her father after being depressed for uncle zhou's death was damn good. By the way, they mention that apart from leaking the mission details under force, Uncle zhou also killed haishi's friend. But who is that friend and why doesn't haishi still not know abt her friend. There are a lot of things that u initially not understood but it gets cleared in the next episodes.. The screenwriter and the director did a very good execution

I always feel that there is going to be something between haishi and consort shurong because the dragon she carved out exactly resembles the mermaid that saved haishi. Consort shurong also mentions that apart from zhunian (her country), there is another place that believes in the dragon tail. Moreover we have seen the magic print that the mermaid gave haishi when she fell into the water after getting poisoned. All this is making me more and more curious and at the same time mysterious also. Can't wait to find out more about the mermaid.

There are tons of chinese actresses who portray a 20 year old girl or even younger despite their age. Do u mean that all these historical dramas should take a 20 year old girl to act at the start and once the character reaches age she should be replaced by th female lead??? I am so sorry but I literally freaked out when yang mi appeared. I was also reminded of her as bai qian who slept on the peach blossom tree drinking zhe yan's wine in eternal love.

If u don't like it then please don't watch. I never see u giving a good comment. There are few others who also pointed it out. Their comments sound like a constructive criticism while yours sounds like blabbering. I do agree that she looks a bit old for her initial age in the drama but that doesn't mean she can't act. Her face least bothers me. Please don't throw your mouth at the wrong place.

Goodness I have never seen a drama in my whole life that got me addicted just in the first 5 minutes. The production quality is totally impressive. The mermaid looked so real and the background music also made it sound mysterious. Love this drama.....
Edit: The mermaid's makeup is damn good and the little haishi's acting skills is awesome
