I am enjoying the drama very much so far. I really have to say that Bai lu is a gem. How the heck can she nail characters that are so different. From Arsenal military academy to love is sweet, The legends to song of youth, Lucky's first love to one and only. Hats off to her.

I have a doubt and I hope someone could clear it for me. Why did zhou sheng chen make an oath that he will not enter capital and such at such an young age? What exactly made people fear that he would usurp the throne when he was just a little boy???

Kris wu is now officially arrested. Never thought that he was this kind of a person. But I will still continue to support this drama regardless. I feel sorry for the Crew. Since kris wu is going to get cut out it will be more like a female oriented story. This can show Yang zi's versatile acting. Hope the chinese fans can watch this drama without any prejudice cause this drama doesn't only mean kris wu.

I am very happy with the fact that this drama shows us a complete wedding without any hurries and we also get to see 2 episodes after their marriage. Yang yang and dilireba's visuals at the time of the wedding was literally out of the world........

I am re-watching ancient love poetry now for the 4 th time. In ep 41, when houchi asks his father to ask Master (Bai jue) to let them go back home and that she doesn't want anything, my heart was in a lot of pain. Cause when her life was at the end, her husband is no more there and her baby cannot survive - for houchi it would have been excruciating. And then she doesn't want to stay in that place anymore and just wants to go back home.

I've clearly specified that those words for ones who blindly commented without knowing anything. If u personally don't very much like yang mi then that's fine as long as you are not spreading hate. No offense. I know that a lot of chinese think that actresses should be naturally beautiful. Not everyone but a lot of. I am totally okay with plastic surgeries or whatever it is cause beauty lies in the eyes of beholder and I being beautiful inside matters more....

I think the love at first sight was not really very unrealistic cause the male lead's character is pure which makes sense that fell in love with the fl at first sight. At start it was just a little affection for her but it grew gradually. Just because we don't believe in things as love at first sight doesn't mean that those things don't exist.

I am not pointing towards everyone. You can go to youtube and search Ten miles of peach blossoms ep 1. In a short form we call it as Eternal love. But recently there is another drama called eternal love with 3 seasons. So you did better search for it as Ten miles of peach blossoms. You can watch it for free either on youtube or viki. Do watch it cause if u don't u will regret it.....

The immortals in the scene say that he has reached the prime of demi-god. If his spiritual veins were intact he would have ascended to a god. Nonetheless, he will be able to ascend to god very soon. Try re-watching that particular scene and you will understand.

After reading your comment, I think both the dramas have it's own pros and cons. And it totally depends on an individual which one they would prefer more.

And as an Ancient poetry lover, I sincerely wish they could give us a bonus episode where in which we can see moments of - gujun and shanggu, fengran and jian jian, baijue and shanggu, baijue and hongri and last but not the least baijue, yaunqi and shanggu moment.......

A lot of us tried to compare Ancient love poetry with Ten mile of peach blossoms. I would also like to raise my opinion.
I personally think both the dramas are equally good. Both the dramas emphasize of love undergoing more than one life. But if I have to pick one then it would be Ten miles of peach blossoms because-

1. I had no regrets when I watched Ten miles of peach blossoms. But in Ancient love poetry a lot of my favourite characters died and even though some of them managed to live (ex: jian jian, gu jun) but still we were not able to see them towards the end.

2. Eternal love is also a typical last minute ending just like Ancient love poetry. But we were able to see the leads in eternal love have a happy ending in the last a bit longer while in Ancient love poetry we couldn't.

3. We were able to see both the leads spending a lot of time together with their kid. But in Ancient love poetry even though the parents accompanied the child, but we still weren't able too see the three of them together as a family. It would have been possible if they had added one more episode.

4. In eternal love, the acting and every cast including the support cast was perfect. I couldn't even find one flaw regarding their acting while in Ancient love poetry, though the main cast was excellent but still some of the supporting cast was weak (ex: muguang).

5. Last but not the least, the personalities of the lead roles in eternal love was fantastic. I also love d it in Ancient love poetry but if I have to choose one, then for me personally it would be our savage Bai qian. Of course it might vary according to your taste.

These are just a few points, of course there are a lot. But I will be stopping here.....

So the point is that after I watched Ten miles of peach blossoms, I had no regrets in the story but in Ancient love poetry I had a lot...........

For people who hadn't noticed Fengran is in be with you as Qi nian and in Legend of fuyao as yan lan zhu. I never expected that fengran is such an versatile actress - from bold and brave to naive ad innocent, from being savage to being kind she has totally slain it.

I started watching ancient love poetry for the second time now. I've noticed a lot of points that I missed the first time.
1. When Qingmu tells jingjian that he doesn't like to speak with stranger especially he will be very uncomfortable around girls in ep 17, we can notice that bai jue also disliked speaking with strangers and doesn't like girls.
2. In ep 16 or 17 they shoe Bai jue's disciples sitting on the mountain top watching the stars. They specify that there is star shining brightly. We can infer from this that Bai jue is still alive.

I've noticed a lot of other things but I won't be mentioning them. I watched the first while the drama is on air so I didn't watch it all at once. Now that I am watching I started noticing a lot of other things.

So I think it is best if everyone watches it again. You can enjoy it more than the first time as you know the profound meaning behind the very complicated tribulation of chaos............
