I wanted to watch this drama but dropped it because of actor controversy . had watch almost 4 eps and enjoyed but ... unfortunately I cannot watch anymore .

I started this without any expectations and this is so well written and acting is top notch. A cold blood revenge no one is spared everyone plays their role and there's a reason they were able to live . 8/10 loved it beautiful cinematography

only thing I want writer to reflect is unnecessary happy ending for everyone some characters needed to have their karma and reflect on themselves. They were bad people and took decisions which resulted in hurting others . They genuinely deserve to suffer .

Qu hua and Fang Mujing I love these two , especially Fang Mujing always been straightforward and tit for tat , knows her self worth , confident and have good self esteem.

many kinship and relationship.

can we talk about how much of a green flag xiao zhiyu is as a boss and as her partner. He always wanted best for her , wanted to protect and always been supporting her with her every decision. The last ending was perfect to sum up she doesnt need anyone approval to shine , she will always grow and shine ✨️ that's a good man who's supportive of his partner not just in words but through actions .He understands her very well . So far they're rhe actually CPs who actively communicated and put an effort to resolve their miscommunication been supportive of each other and had a healthy boundaries with positive relationship.

This was the perfect drama to start your year with , I loved their chemistry and the characters understanding of each other. The storyline was beautiful and the dialogue has been written perfectly.The osts are beautiful too everything is so good so far 10/10 definitely worth watching .

considering people in past used to get married in teenage and both them are so clueless is so funny LMAOOOO 😭😭😭✋️✋️✋️also idk the narrator so jolly i never seen a Japanese people with so much of expression always seen them introverted, quiet , stoic and respectful(maybe sorry for stereotyping ) he's a good actor 👍

It is set in 1930s so ik gender roles were considered important and women conditioned in a way to take care of your partner . Ik these all are affects of patrichary so I will always keep in mind again and again this was set in 1930s for my sanity .
