Best thing I’ve watched this year, not a big complaint cuz the first half of 2023 was full of disappointments but still to make something watchable, engaging and not repetitive in this day and age is rare
Park gyu young truly carried this show but the other cast, lack of many cliches and the beautiful aesthetics made a great package 👍🏻
I'm sad crime drama fans aren't hyping this, I mean no crime drama since signal has been "amazing", but SD falls in the top 1% for sure ep1's ending really got me emotinal, I haven't been moved or shocked by a drama in a while
the way they started i thought I was watching s1 again, such a clever opening
This is like a fancy sparkling new doll tbh it’s making me excited I’m on ep4 now and I’m eating up all the makjang buffet 🙂 Till now it’s a great exterior facade overlaying “the cliches”
It’s getting a bit more bearable cuz both are idiots and he has the sweetest gaze Like he’s a cocky jerk, but not in a despicable way especially since she’s not intimidated by him So like it’s a cliche but they removed the worst part, the power imbalance and the shaky fls
Watched 3eps and this is what most new aired dramas miss They keep doing the same cliches over and over again without it getting “out of style” while also not even trying to add anything new But this has a good balance, poor fl, rich ml, fl is hated, total cliches but the surrounding elements makes it different 👍🏻
Fl is a bland white rice, plain and characterless Ml is a very salty soup, overcomplicats everything like a 5 year old The friends are the extra side dishes no one wants to try
It’s 2023, but here we have a weirdo that doesn’t know how to express his feelings so he bullies her and a clueless fl that doesn’t understand his weird attempts at flirting and the past ridiculous trauma that’s been done to death since 2010s Not forgetting the eyeroll worthy coworkers that hate her just cuz she got a job✌🏻🤡 Atleast they should’ve given us a normal adult coupling chemistry like Love to Hate you and Her Private Life, no plot but atleast better than misunderstandings
That scene at the end made me so upset. Was it even necessary?? I was really enjoying this drama but the ending…
You know like “villains can’t have a happy ending” but like all of them were murderers anyway Honestly he deserved a happy life more cuz he lived such a horrible life 😭
It was pretty basic, madongsuk beats ppl, ppl beat ppl and madongsuk still beats ppl that beat ppl It had a couple of funny scenes, “-shibal bar? -No, that’s Cyber bar” And the motel scene had me laughing 😭😭🤣 I think they need more characters to stand by him, like it became a recurring joke that his partners came in after he beat everyone up, so it was funny but 1on1 will always have a btch slap KO from dongsuk
Also lee joonhyuk is HOT, but here he felt basic, not threatening enough or as crazy as the previous two main villains, just bland, even my mom was like “all those villains feel the same”
Slapstick humor, over excessive acting, stupid plot lines to move along the story especially “unfortunate fl”, and a lot of unnecessary yelling
But ironically I like the fls voice, tho not when she yells🫡 I don’t mind their mythology but fl being manhandled, scammed and blah blah is eyeroll worthy
Please, free labor makes it sound like she locked them up in a basement and forced them to do something As a person that loves her fans and knows they don’t understand, she wanted fans to help each other
Her company is at fault for not providing that in the 1st place
