I thought she blew the pipes but...
I was watching it with my mom so we were like if it's thick enough to keep the acid how can that tiny munchkin cary jt🤣
his problems would've been solved faster and earlier if he just seduced his rich love interest earlier and had evil intentions 🤣
like sure, sangah was a psychopath, but an elaborate acid water scheme, that obviously put herself at more risk? and the tree bottom becoming an acid pool and boom one push and it's over?
here's how I'd have done it differently. poisoned gas, and she wears a protective mask but it gets cut off by accident and boom we see her suffering chocking on her own plans. (don't judge me, I'm writing this with a writer mindset xD)
her whole persona was "conducting plays", a puppet master if you like, she planned and played everyone, we as viewers needed to see her plans fail and her seeing the wires cut off, that was the real suffering, she had no real power
and suddenly everyone was rich, when her friend got 12 years in prison.. so it was that simple? there was no death mystery cuz she never died. they didn't need to piss sangah off when they could've laundered the money that easily?
glorified trash. there's a korean saying, I think, that goes "poop disguised as a flower", I'm heavily paraphrasing, lol I'd appreciate if someone knows/understands what I'm talking about xD
*basically, episodewise
eps 1, 4 were 8/10
eps 2,3,5,6,7 were 5/10 totally dragged out and blocked from my memory
ep 8 was a 10/10
eps 9-11 were an 8/10
ep 12 was a 1/10
the average is 6.5?
*actingwise
Uhm Ji Won = 10/10
Kim Go Eun = 8/10, a 1 during her "I'm weak" nagging but a 10 during her "I'll murder you" scenes
my mom liked the guys cuz they were sweet without any ulterior motives xD tho it's a -1 for In Joo always doubting Do Il
the rest were a meh 7
*storywise, the cinematography outweighed the writing, so basically a, oooh it's called a poop wrapped in a bow? like gift wrapping dirt. the Vietnam talk was a snooze fest, the ending was disappointing trash, and I haven't even started my review yet xD
also, I'd appreciate if someone tells me how the 70b was "injoos" money
Kim Go Eun also rocks heavily emotinal scenes. for me, her meltdown in prison, and sangah's scheme in ep8 were the best and only worthy scenes
basically,eps4, 8 and 11 were great the rest, disappointing and fillers.
15eps of "you'll never win" then boom the 2fl's secretary had a change of heart and confessed EVERYTHING, while 2fl killed her big evil father
But atleast ml goes psycho and tries to kill his wife and himself after seeing the monsters they've become
Atleast tbh Jang Sa Pyeong wasn't necessary..
The all high and mighty is taken down cuz just one person decides to turn sides, and from a soft "emotional speech" rather than threats or whatever
It was supposed to say "not a creep about it" 🤣 I like 2nd FL alot🤣 she's crazy sassy
Exactly and that hurts more cuz to her she was just rejected by a guy, so her ex whom she did love comes back saying sorry let's start again, ofc she thinks he's her only option 😭
Well we could also look at it your way, I have lost hope in kdramas not repeating the same plotlines😭
Lol I was thinking he owns that house and he rented it cheap to dahee🤣
I did like the bra scene, he was not a sleazy creep about it and just joked in a friendly way even if only to himself 🤣 cuz one is more real when alone
She's not worth it if she doesn't respect or care for him too.. and this better not be another "they don't end up together" I hate that😭
As a love story it's like big mouse's or romance bonus boom, guy always cares more but stays on the side lines and girl keeps getting her heart broken until she wants to settle.. Koreans love that...
I just wished for 2 friends that developed feelings as time went by😭
I watched this dubbed, I'm not used to thai and this was a heavy drama, but I do think the English voice actors did a better job at delivering the emotions. Their tones moved well with every tension, hope, sadness and anger.
The korean dubs sounded like news and the thai was flat
