The Japanese woman is not really a protagonist, more of an antagonistic side character, she only appears in some episodes of the second book then disappears, she doesn't have a pivotal role as the technology they invented will not take any effect later in the story, it has no significance basically.

Be careful with being that optimistic. You can never know whether a C-drama will air or not until the day it's released. You can only be sure once you are watching it. These days Iqiyi is in such crisis and lack of dramas that dramas that are years old climb back to the top of the most popular list. It can very well be 2027, don't trust Chinese lies.

Ridiculous. These 40 kg babyfaced kids playing with swords in unrealistic magical scenarios. Fu Yixiao is the only one who makes sense because that drama is the best wuxia ever or at least a strong contestant for that title. But they didn't make Fu Yixiao weild a sword, she used bow and arrow, that was realistic at least. She and the whole drama 一笑随歌 was brilliant, but the others...

It is comical to derive that conclusion based on actual political predicaments. Economy and humanities become useless when faced with a civilization that has the ability to create and control matter with particle density equal to that of a neutron star and has antimatter drives. Sanctions and other pitiful actual political events become meaningless in the shadow of such threat, this is what an arts student or whatever is unable to see. And it certainly will outperform S1 because The Dark Forest is better than the first book, actually the best of the 3 by far.

Now this insanely outstanding drama won't get released either because of the Chinese internet rats (netizens) throwing a tantrum again out of boredom over nothing. Chinese internet is a curse.

They released a shitty law drama of her last year so now we have to wait another 2 years to see her next drama thats hopefully, hopefully (!) watchable. Medical and law dramas are always a waste of actors, and whats frustrating is that they still count as a full drama and take years from the actor, you can wait years to see them in the next drama, while you have already watched all of her previous ones.

Rumours, rumours... That's what we always get. A good calculation method of when a Cdrama is likely to be released is to add 7 to 8 months to the rumours and you get the aproximate release date. At least based on my experiances of former releases.

What the hell, next year... No need to talk about it than. It's almost like it will never air.

Too boring, unable to watch beyond episode 2. I don't like law dramas to start with but seriously why the hell no more police/soldier/firefighter roles for Johnny Huang? Why waste him for a shit law drama?
