Honestly, I can think of anything that could be improved upon at this point.
It's an amazing opportunity to support an authentic BL from Mainland China, a place that has been continously ruining BL plots due to censorship and controversy from people who literally have nothing better to do with their lives than to be trolls, apparently.

I was so confused when the App started playing this right after the nice ending... The one real difference of note is in Vee and Games dynamic. In the original ending, we simply saw them happy together, this time we saw more than that.

Many times they take issue with it because they perceive it as an unfaithful rendition of the source material.
Antique Bakery as an example of something that many people think of as being a BL, but in reality the source materials preceded the later BL bent, and thus both versions are largely faithful to the source materials available. However, there are other series where the source materials are entirely a BL, and the resulting rendition will have a hetero normative female put in without any purpose aside from presenting it as "socially acceptable" by pointing out how the main male lead has a female pairing... And oftentimes when they do this, it seems to me as though the female lead is a complete afterthought put into to appease the government, which is just plainly bad script writing. If you have to present it as a hetero pairing, at least make the female lead as interesting and complex, even if the romance between them is next to non-existent. Which is why this series does feel like a BL altered for censorship parameters... However, at least for now, the female lead is interesting in her own right, and is better written than some female roles I have seen out of China. In my opinion, a female lead should have the same level of complexity as the male lead, regardless of the potential relationships.
Now that said, I need to find out if this series source material has indeed been altered significantly, or it is simply a "pure heart Bromance" some have worded it, in truth.
If it is the former, then any angst about how the series is presented, verses how it actually runs, is justified, within reason. However, if the latter... Well... enough said, I guess. Kind of hard to reconcile the recasting of Jerry...but I understand how busy schedules can conflict with another's...sort of wished they'd kept the original pairing...but we'll see how it plays out since I have even completed episode 1 of this season.

Also, based on my own experience as a child of a socially unacceptable parenting strategy...I remember being more angry that someone dared to criticize how I was being raised, when I knew just how hard it was for my Mom...being a single mother wasn't yet considered acceptable in my area, and while not the same as being raised by a homosexual pair...the stigma associated with being in a single parent home at the time is a reasonable analogy.
Also, based on observations of others...Children take more offense over how other people see their parents than taking it personally as something being wrong with them... it's only when the parents are having conflicts that it switches from external anger and anxiety to internal, as the common denominator between their parents I'm their mind, is themselves, instead of people outside the family daring to judge the family as a whole.

Anyone who has read the long running Webtoon "Lookism" will see parallels to this two bodies, One consciousness plot. I'd say more about the Webtoon, but at more than 250 chapters...any live action adaptation is going to seriously be underwhelming since that Webtoon is packed with plot, and each segment actually takes me more than a couple minutes to get through...me who regularly reads books with 800+ pages in about a day or so. Actually spending time to process each installment is a bit shocking... All of this is to help frame what I am going to say next. Any screen adaptation that tries to do whatever is in the Webtoon would have to commit to making at least 100 episodes and to be honest...that would only really cover half of the amount of plot details and interconnections within the Webtoon. So. The fact that this series seems to have latched on to the incredibly good looks & the body that the person had originally being rather the opposite, and the fact they can be swapped out...is okay, since it is a novel idea regardless. The Webtoon is likely the source of many plot details of this series. However, they're distinct and separate from each other. Last I knew, the Two Body issue hasn't been answered in the Webtoon, so it wouldn't make sense that they have answered it in the screen adaptation...the Webtoon is actually crazy as hell...& Apparently this series is too... And I'll be watching the "My Idol Boyfriend" Edit of the series...and it is an edit since each episode is apparently 10-20 minutes shorter? This edit also claims to be a BL...so we shall see if it has been edited to look more like one.

I discovered that it's being uploaded on Gaga OO Lala...and as I decided to get a subscription to that service, I don't have to deal with the commercials either...so...yeah...same prices as a VPN...but fewer problems for my extremely puny Internet Bandwidth... I'm supposed to get 3Mbps download, 1 Mbps Up... but more often it's symmetrical in the unfavorable sense...and VPNs use up more of my limited bandwidth than I Like... though to be honest, I would like to get an AIS Play account...which does require a VPN subscription...but I haven't figured out the last part involving the AIS Account...
Apparently if you're willing to wait, Gaga OO Lala is now the Official streaming service the series is accessible on in the US...which is not a bad service actually...
