Finished, and I loved every second of it! I loved the style of this drama a lot. The angst and tension were at an all-time high—my god. The chemistry between SWL and ZJY is INSANE. They have so much tension between them, and when they are together, it feels so natural you can literally feel that they are in love.
Another thing I loved about this drama is that the FL is the main initiator of the romance and intimate moments. That is a rather rare thing in drama land, and it is always welcome when the FL gives as much as or more than the ML, as it's usually the other way around.
Did miao jing and cen ye really dated in the past or they were just pretending??? (Just asking out of curiosity…
Well the only time it is mentioned is when Cen Ye says it other then that we know nothing, not the duration, how close they were or anything. They could easily just not have mentioned it at all in the show cause it's pretty irrelevant either way imo.

There will probably be a lot in the last episodes, there are multiple scenes from clips and bts that has not happened yet for example. Don't know if it will start in 27 or after the fire in 28 though.
It was nice that they didn't turn that scene into some jealousy when MJ walked in on TuLi on the couch. I loved MJ sending the 2ML packing after Chen Yi asked him to stay for dinner that was satisfying.
Also the hotpot scene was nicely done and Xiaobao is really cute with his "family" talk. I am guessing the broken heart on the calendar for ep26 will be her mom dying or something?

Yeah considering the shit that happened when she was just a kid i thought she would be a bit more messed up or they would at least show the impact it had on her but the drama is not doing a good job at that tbh.

Why do i feel like so many people just gloss over Miao Jing's pain from the past. The girl has severe abandonment issues.
Her mom ditched her and later on CY also ditched her in the worst possible way from her POV and he also almost died in the fire earlier which we still have not gotten to see but that had to have left even more fear of being left alone. And she was only 18 when all of this had happened.
This show is really in need of showing the past more especially from Miao Jing's POV cause we have literally gotten nothing so far.
Ugh that trash woman is back again and she is probably dying also. I kinda wish MJ could just ignore her but i get it, from her abandonment issues and the fact that she’s always wanted her mom's love—it's complicated.
It seems like she will stay for 2-3 eps also which is just great. Can we please put more focus on CY and MJ again and the past cause the leads and their chemistry is the only thing carrying this show imo. Only 8 episodes to go.
Finally caught up and get hit with the creep getting out and instant rage by Wan Xings parent's my god. At least she has Wang Fa there now helping her, i am looking forward to tomorrow with some romance progress and more backstory on LWX.

This is exactly what would happen he was approached multiple times before MJ even did anything he even said something along the lines of you can't escaped from the past.

The last few episodes better deliver some happiness cause they damn well deserve it, please don't drag it until episode 30 give us like 5 episodes of happiness at least.

Also Wang Fa's dad is hilarious every time he brought up in-laws was really funny. And the kids teasing coach about them dating was also funny.
