I don’t blame the reviewers but the writers for creating female characters like that. Also, liking or not liking…
I agree…That’s why my first comment said it’s the screenwriters who write female characters this way and you also make a good point about a misogynistic culture/society.
DFQC’s hellfire scenes are awesome but I would have liked to see more in the the battle scene. It was not so…
I’m a huge fan of AoS too and love LBFAD. It’s a Xianxia so the fight and battle scenes are definitely different from historical, wuxia, fantasy dramas as you know. However, I will say I started watching LBFAD while waiting for new episodes of AoS and became obsessed with LBFAD. You’ll be hooked by episode 8 or 9. I like the pace of the storyline and the romance. Leads get a lot of screen time together.

Can anyone explain me how is the ending? Like rushed happy ending or more to that? I am still wondering if I should…
It was a good ending with no loose ends but the last scene was rushed. I don’t consider the last scene the ending as some people do. To me, the ending was more of the last 2 episodes which was wrapped up nicely. Those of us who love the drama wanted more, obviously, but nonetheless it was a happy ending.
Actors need to take note and hit the gym..wow
Bonus for us viewers hehe they sure know how to draw us in

And the last 2 episodes…love the kiss scenes too.
