First it's only 3 months Vos has ended shooting, so no way you are going to get the drama in this gap. Thus is a fantasy drama, not xianxia but close, so there's lot of CGI work to be done. We can say GJM does all PP when he is shooting itself but that is not true. He can't fully do post production while shooting, ge just uses high quality cameras and all so we feel PP is taking place at the same time.
Next HS doesn't have any bromance or even triangle story. It's an entirely different story. And it already got the license. So there's no need for any additional editing needed like fof as you say.
If you know about youku you will know this is not a new thing. The worst platform anyone could see. Everything depends on the mood of the decision makers and how much profit they can get. They can release now uf they want even if the drama is not fully done if it's getting them money. Some dramas are in the dungeon for 4-5 years without a release date. 😒 This gets more when they are the primary producers of a drama. And good news VOS is one of them. Lord save us all. 🙏🙏
Now coming to fof, I don't know if I should laugh or cry. Why do people really think wen xiao is an after thought, added just for fun. Nope . She is an integral part of the story as much as other characters are. She is baize goddess heir, baize goddess herself. And the character of baize goddess have relevance in the story of fof. So we can't say she is not needed. The plot and story of fof is character driven. The decisions taken by the characters move the story forward and not the plot pulling the characters forward.
Why do we forget at the core fof is a found family story not romance. Romance, straight or otherwise are only extensions of their emotions. The main thing is found family. The strangers finding a home away from home, family after loosing their family. So everyone is essential for it. As bai jue is part of story, pei sijing is part of group, ying lei is part of group, yichen is part of group, zyz is part of the group, wen xiao too is part of story and that dynamic. They all play a part in making of that family. No one is less no one is more. They all need each other.
For 100th time we've been saying here VOS is a love story. The couples are decided and their love story will be a visual art to see on the screen. Jilu💗 and wuwu💗. Manzhu 💗Haoyi💗.. remaining we will see after the drama is aired. For now we only have these. Yes I agree lijie and jiling have a special relationship. They act less like master and bodyguard and more like best friends. There is no clear definition known now but we know lijie will always be with Dragon God and jiling is an extension part of Dragon God. They will have scenes together and they will know each other closely but that doesn't mean that will deviate the story from jilu. 🤷
