Yeppp they can go to extreme lengths. But you see a variety there too. My fav ones are the praising through poems. This only works if you know local language and well versed in it too. Too many idioms, phrases. Even the translated one were enough to know how crazy and awesome it is. But you will only know the real meaning when you know the language (not the regular using) and context and all the other things.
