Now that I've watched the entire series what's left to see? Why do studios still make pilot teasers like this? π At least leave out the exact nature of rhe conflict and leave out the resolution completely. It's cute though. Classic enemies to friends to lovers trope and the cast seems promising.
Dropped. A banal plot, banal acting, and characters that are boring and especially frustrating.Okuno Soβs acting…
I disagree. I'm really enjoying the performance of the whole cast including Okuno So. On the contrary what you describe as "a normal, mature world" is more of an ideal than the real world. In the real world the apprehension of feeling that something is off with your partner but not wanting to rock the boat when on the surface everything seems great is not uncommon. It's not quite the convoluted miscommunication plot we're used to. How it's resolved is actually very natural and yes very mature. We're used that kind of thing not being acknowledged much less resolved until the very last scene of the series. Here it was resolved in one episode early on. They learned from it and moved on. The plot focuses heavily on character growth and development both as individuals and as a couple and it might not be as spicy as some would prefer so I do get why it might be too bland for some but I'm liking it. So far at least. We still have 7 episodea to go. Who knows if I don't end up dropping it too for some reason.
