This was one rare series that the 'fast forward' button didn't even crossed my mind. The writer's done an excellent job with the script! I didn't even expect this drama to be so much entertaining! Every case had much intense. I guess I learned a lot while watching it.

And no explanations needed for jang Nara's outstanding acting. She never fails to impress me. This is my very first drama with Nam Ji Hyun and she totally caught my eye! Han Yu Ri was a great partner for Cha Eun Kyung!

Seriously gonna miss this series! It's always been my weekend dose.

This was the best thing that happened to me. And I don't regret clicking on it. Han Yu Ri and Cha Eun Kyung got that hug scene which I was craving for so much and also, they get to be in each other's shoes and we got such a happy ending. I couldn't ask for more from this series. This was written perfectly. I cried a lot, smiled a lot, girl-crushed a lot (on both of the FMLs), and in the end, regretted that this had finally ended. Jang Na Ra and Nam Ji Hyun were never disappointed in their series, but they together were just magic. Perfection, literally. I would recommend this drama to everyone because it will fit everyone's genre and liking. The writer did an outstanding job with this one. It's a happy ending drama with lots of twists and turns within it. I enjoyed this a lot and definitely on the top 10 list. I'm going to miss it a lot and wait for every week to end and watch it again. The cast's chemistry, the quality, the story. EVERYTHING! One of the best of this year's.

The sismance in this drama is just next level like no other drama. Other women centered dramas also have sismance but it is usually love hate kind of relationship but in this drama it was just love, support and respect between female leads, the title is totally justified.
Even though it is a law and divorce drama they didn't make it very intense or serious, you will have a smile on your face while watching it the whole time.

No wonder why the writing is good….the screenwriter most likely wrote from experience.

But this got me thinking though…these dramas often have highly focused workaholics & overachievers everywhere 😂 it makes one thinks that they like to exaggerate.
But here is a screen writer that also has published work…that is also a Lawyer & appears on tv shows.
Impressive.

An engaging legal/social drama with challenging, thought-provoking and emotional divorce cases, as well as some wonderful character development and exemplary family dynamics.
The sismance and camaraderie between Jang Na Ra and Nam Ji Hyun was a real pleasure to watch.
They really were Good Partners!

I love how in this drama the main story of interest was almost over by ep 10 and the next 6 episodes were further exploration of the dynamic between the FLs. In most K dramas of 16 episodes they drag the main story to the end and give an unsatisfying quick closure. More K-dramas should follow the arc structure of this show.

I also love that the show focused on divorce and family dynamics especially the exploration of latter is done really well here with a positive, healthy message. Couples arguing is one of tropes i find the most entertaining always, i've seen so many movies across different cultures both west and east about strain and conflict in the family so i enjoyed most of the cases this show had.

Also Jang Na Ra is one of my favs. Easy 8.5/10.

I find it hard to believe Han Yu Ri's character passed the law exam, went to law school, and has no separate work/life?…
She is dumbed down. Very cheap and repetitive way to portray moral dilemmas and different perspectives. The pattern of her not understanding a client and for Eun Gyeong to immediately understand and then have to explain to her, is really starting to frustrate me at episode 7 already.

I find it hard to believe Han Yu Ri's character passed the law exam, went to law school, and has no separate work/life? Sure she lacks experience, but I feel like part of her character is dumbed down for some reason . . .

I'm really, really glad they changed so many things from the novel. Yes, this episode solved a lot of issues that take their own time in the novel but I think it was for the best. Nobody wanted to see Gen tell Aoey she needs to date Great/find a boyfriend or get out of her life, I think all of us are done with that game of them making each other jealous and I'm glad the writers chose not to go in that direction. Besides, Gen in the book is really horrible, she kisses everyone in the drunk scene and then, to make her mom believe she's actually dating the doctor, she gives him a tongue kiss in front of her and Aoey. I'm so, so glad we didn't have to see that. The worst part of the episode was probably the non-consensual scene, which I must admit, surprised me. It was actually way too triggering, I think they should have put some kind of warning the beginning of the episode. They did change that too, I think. I'm pretty sure Aoey in the book was actually raped but not in the show. So many great changes. I'm surprised by this series. They managed to turn a trash book with a trash story into a beautiful love story.
