A big part of me felt like he was deluding himself that ZZS was doing everything for him out of something deeper than loyalty. I agree, I think he was lonely and clinging to the only one actually close to him. :/

There is virtually little to almost no focused interaction between these two other than employer/employee relationship in the book from what I remember. In the book, Scorpion King is less likable than the series and actually has other sexual preferences such as voyeurism. They improved his character for sure in WoH, lol. He's a super cruel creep in the book.

Yeah, it happens every so often. I think it might be them trying to adjust the rating algorithms or it might be just a simple glitch, but it's a recurring event. I'm not really sure how it all breaks down as multiple people have tried to figure it out as well. The way the rating works on MDL seems a little funky at times. At this point, I don't really pay attention to ratings because there have been low rated dramas I've loved and vice versa.

Other ratings went up by the same margin so I suspect it's another glitch.

Same, lol! I torture all my characters when I write because the conflict makes things more interesting. I think it's a cultural thing though. The fans also complained about the scene where ZZS expels the nails from his body and lets out a scream as he does so apparently. :/

His assassin-y self and the political heavy storyline was why I didn't pick it up initially, but I'll add it to my reading list! Thank you for the in depth response!

I was tempted to read that one but the reviews were pretty mixed on it. I was interested to see how ZZS was at his peak villianyness but also felt pretty conflicted about maybe seeing his character in a different light. Are you liking the book so far?

There is a special, additional, episode that completes the actual ending. I would highly suggest finishing this one. The ending is perfect :)

Well, thanks, lol. Honestly, I don't think there is any fan war between the fandoms. Just people claiming to be fans and hoping to create strife. After the mess of trolls that frequented the TU page for months on end, the longtime fans wouldn't come here and do the same thing that was done to them. Plus, all the TU fans I talk to love this drama as well. Comparing dramas only takes away from each masterpiece.

Right! I fell into the fanfic hole just to try to help with it and I think I made it worse. I think I've watched all the BTS at least twice and plan on watching all over again once it's out on YT.

Ancient Detective is good as well and the two leads have great chemistry together, but they do have their own hetro romances as well in that one.

He looks so handsome though. GJ definitely pulled the flowery but confidant look off so well.
