Finally starting this! Watched Zhou Yiran in WIFTY and Bao Shangen in WoF and they both did amazing in both! So nice to see these two now in a drama!! Oh, not to mention Bian Tianyang who played the best friend of Zhou Yiran in WIFTY hehe excited to see this duo again!

(I have reached ep 29 so spoilers will come) I can't really take it seriously that the FL's lovely father in SOKP is part of the massacre of her family here like dang y'all gotta seriously be playing with me here? Not to mention I JUST watched SOKP last month OOF 😅😭

I still can't believe we got the WIFTY besties again and in a costume drama this time!! 😍🫣

I'm now on the last ep... Taking my sweet time watching this one. Everything about this drama is wow... This is near perfection! I'm gonna miss it once I finish it. It's likely to even end up in my rare 10s!! 🫣

Tbh the comedy really isn't for me either. So I had to put it on-hold for now. Hearing how it continues to get more serious makes me happy. But I just can't with the comedy. It feels too forced / like they're trying too hard. So I'm taking a break and will watch this another time. It seems it does get serious as the eps go by which I'm glad about. But I don't think I'm fully immersed or in the mood to continue rn.

Yep Liu Yuning is the king of drama OSTs! L&R was my xianxia, when I dtarted getting into xianxias, and I loooved his voice. When I watched more dramas, I kept seeing him in every drama's OST I was watching and he became my favorite C-drama OST singer. And then when I found out he acts in dramas, I just HAD to try out some of his dramas, and AJTL was the first, and finally seeing him on the screen was such an incredible feeling bc I knew him as an OST singer first! He never fails to sing so well in his OSTs!

Omg I'm watching Someday or One Day too and I love it so nuch as well and didn't watch this one yet so I'm free of spoilers! And to appreciate this adaptation more I'm thinking of giving it a year from watching SOOD. Ik it won't hit the same as the original but I think it'll be fun to try it out!

I'm so happy this is finally out omg I'm so excited to watch this! Not only does the mystery and thriller feel incredible, but we finally got Bai Lu and Wang Xingyue as leads tgt! Finally the day has come for this drama to air! Not to mention it's on Netflix? Like hell yeah! 😭🔥

What I'm looking forward to is both MLs, unlike most other dramas, get their own lover, both played by Wang Churan bc the FL has two different souls, which is such a different and unique take to this one!

It actually only finished filming 4 years ago (2022) surprisingly... And even if they refilmed, they can't air it most likely tbh... It would take a lot of risk for that.

Yep! I did like Bai Lu and Luo Yunxi in TTEOTM too but even more ngl (despite being frustrated as well with their relationship - prob even more too) skdjskdks

Actually he isn't bad as I thought he would be initially but when the romance does pick up in the last 8 eps, I'm like on-and-off with him. One thing is I like that he cares and worries for her at times. But then we see him start to force things on her (like the way he grabs her, shouts at her, and even forces kissing her) and doesn't fully respect her as a person to make her own decisions.

I mean she is actually a red flag too so... At the same time, the FL also doesn't deserve him. It's more like they have a toxic relationship that I wouldn't wanna get myself into. In the end, neither the other two MLs actually deserved her either (even when they liked her) so I would think no matter which relationship she's in, it would all fall apart.

Maybe in the end the FL and ML work out more as a cp, but imo, ML def likes the FL more. I always felt that for the FL it was more like she pitied him for his past and wanted to help him thru that by staying by his side. For some reason I feel she's mistaken truly loving someone to actually caring and pitying. Irl, it would be better that she stays single to work her character out, and in the end, prob meet someone new.

But in the end, I did find the ending cute at the same time. They wouldn't have their cute kids if they didn't get tgt. I want to believe they both grew in their relationship thru the years even tho we didn't get to see it. Maybe if they showed that more perhaps I would like them as a cp more?

Omg I'm a twin too! But rather than a fraternal I'm an identical twin! Bc of being a twin this drama makes it more special and enjoyable for me as well hehe I really need more costume dramas with twins!
