I'm not ready to see the deaths of some of my beloved characters (don't spoil who does tho pls haha) even tho ik they get a HE (reminds me of what happened in another drama from this year where I was wondering how characters who died would get a HE too)! I bet I am gonna be sobbing! 😭 I think tho that this kind of ending is pretty epic in a way (tho rlly sad too)!!

I know... I meant it in the way that the ML saved everyone by using time reverse. In ADWAD, the FL dies and gets a reset so that everyone gets a HE too. I just didn't wanna spoil it for others who didn't see that one yet.

I was never planning to watch this but I honestly might bc I LOVE Whispers of Fate and to see these two main roles again here seems like it'll be fun!!

So we had Jelly Lin and Alen Fang as a cp in another drama where they reunited here (not as a cp) so I hope we get the switch around to see Luo Yunxi and Jelly Lin as an actual cp in a new drama next! It would be so fun! I loved them here even when they're not officially a cp bc I found that they had a beautiful chemistry 🥹

But guess what... We are so lucky to have Luo Yunxi and Alen Fang again in Shadow Punisher... where they will go from friends to enemies to friends again from SLY to there hehe this is the most exciting reunion bc they were insane here 😩 Oh, and not to mention Fang Zhou and Gui Mudan will also be in it (sadly just as guest roles tho kind of like here where their screentime was still limited but will prob be even less) 😭

And omggg that's so much? Why didn't they wait out and add more eps since the 40 ep limit is no more? We could've gotten the fuller story of this. How much did they possibly remove from the Celestial Realm, as in how many eps do u think suffered from it? I'm sad at the thought of that... Should've given us more eps atp... idk why they stuck with the usual 40 when they could've done more 😭😭

I could've sworn the way this drama ended reminded me of another drama where it happened in a similar fashion except that one is a happier ending: A Dream Within a Dream

What do you think is a better ending?

Nearly every beloved character dies, including the MC, or everyone lives but the MC is forgotten by everyone? As much as I am sad about tragedy struck upon most characters, I think the latter might even be sadder... I really don't like this ending but it's fitting I guess? 😭

Also why did I alr spoil myself of this when I will only finish this in a week? Well I don't know the exact details of how this ending came to be except that TLC sacrificed himself with the use of tme reverse or whatever so I prefer not to be spoiled of the entirety of how it goes until I watch it, please and thank you 🙏

Frrr LOL were they (S&B) even a cp atp lol and they were the main roles like... We all wanna see Li Chenzhou and Zhao Shirong again in another drama despite their little screentime since they had such beautiful chemistry 🫣

I'm sorry but I am so done with Chunji. I really hate the writing here honestly. Ughhh writers need to stop forcing a character to like another one... I swear! You're telling me she likes Tang Lici to the point of making him a weakling so she can be with him even if he doesn't like her? That is CRAZY!! How could you want that?? You don't want a mutual love?

How did she even start liking Tang Lici? It just feels so forced. Like are you kidding me right now... This kind of story is sooo cliche! We got a forced love obsession character with the MC. It's such a common trope, and an annoying one at that. Why not decide to take that trope out and keep her the kind of character she was? Man I miss her in the earlier eps! 😭

I understand she grew up being bullied and abandoned and such and has PTSD, but it still doesn't justify the things she does. She even said in front of Liu Yan's face that she won't be manipulated by him. But then what? She gives in... Wow...

To think she grew up well with her Master Shao. He loves her so much. I really loved their relationship. They were both always fighting for righteousness and never involving themselves with the evil side but defeating them instead. She has always stood for this, so it's honestly OOC imo... It feels like she changes so quickly. She always stood up for herself and justice. I applauded her for that! I didn't expect she would take a turn for the opposite side! So disappointing... I loved her! 😭

Thank you for making it seem like you didn't know if Chunji was the princess or not... I just started ep 31 and my theory was right about her being a fake 😭

Yep... Fang Zhou and Tang Lici is my ship (tho it's alr a SE b4 drama even started) 😩

We can see at first that Liu Yan didn't want Tang Lici there and would be jealous, but after many years of spending time? Not sure if it lasted all those years since we are only getting flashbacks and not a linear plot sadly (which would've been nice to see). But it is clear he seemed to have fun spending time with Tang Lici at some point.

About believing he murdered Fang Zhou, I guess it's bc he thought he himself witnessed Fang Zhou's death and Tang Lici was there (when it was sadly all a misunderstanding) 😭 So ofc, if it's truly loving someone, then I agree that he doesn't actually truly love him. He's more like obsessed with him and what he sees in front of him sadly, which to him, is Tang Lici's lies.

It's unfortunate bc he failed to follow the teachings of Fang Zhou which is crazy in itself since he basically grew up being taught by him. It's a pity for Fang Zhou if you ask me... Poor guy took him in only for him to turn out like this after his death.

I'm not sure about that. Maybe he was jealous but I think he actually loved Tang Lici. You can tell by the way he spends time with him back in Zhoudi Tower, how he loves to interact, play with, and tease him. Also, ig you can confirm this thru Alen Fang's words about his character's thoughts on Tang Lici: He is the one I love and hate the most. He didn't even say that about Fang Zhou (loving him the most) which is a bit of a shocker.

So it is even possible he was jealous that Tang Lici's attention was more on Fang Zhou. I'm not sure if they will reveal this but let's see.

I swear Liu Yan is getting on my nerves for never trusting Tang Lici like omgggg he's always gonna think he's telling lies one after another!! POOR A'LI!!!!!! I have no hope anymore... One moment I think, "Will he finally believe in him?" only to not trust him again... Just like A'Li, I'm alr tired of Liu Yan for never trusting him, and bc of this, things just get worse (ex: Gui Mudan taking Fang Zhou's body) 😭😭

Frrr I won't forget them as the Tantai brothers, but watching them here honestly makes me completely forget they were brothers who weren't even close at all bc of how beautiful and amazing their friendship is here! Like imagine watching this and then TTEOTM after? Not fun to think about LOL

Yes! Li Lun from Fangs of Fortune! He has lots of grudges against the ML. They basically grew up together and were the closest to each other, but due to misunderstandings and their differences (like values), he hates (and also loves) him in the present just like Liu Yan. Tbh, Li Lun and him (Yuanzhou - ML) have a similar dynamic in some way with the love and hate going on btw them. Liu Yan wants to kill Tang Lici's friends? Same with Li Lun to Yuanzhou. In the end, we see they love and hate each other at the same time lol. I will say tho that the ML has also found his true soulmate (who is the SML) here. Oh, right. Li Lun also goes into the dark side like Liu Yan. So they aren't like always together like the ML is with his friends that we often travels with bc they've gone to the dark side lol.

Overall, I feel they are similar characters. Not only that, but they share a similar dynamics with the MLs. Ever since I started watching this drama, I got reminded a lot of Li Lun with his character lol.
