I find them actually cute when initially I would've preferred no romance but they have chemistry and make a lovely pairing! 🥹 Anyways they better give us the HE like please don't give us the expected BE/OE and surprise us with the unexpected HE instead (I'm not gonna have high hopes but let's see about it ig...) 😭

Lol I was thinking they might but I did learn the drama won't have romance so I wasn't exactly expecting it skdjskfjks but honestly I feel like they would've made a cute cp 🫣 But a cool partners in crime duo works very well for them as well (I wished we got to see more of them fighting) 😩

Anyone else found Chi Yun and Chunji such a cute and badass duo? Not to mention the actors are the same age (same with me) so I found it even more fun watching them! I also really thought they played off so well with each other! I really miss their dynamics from earlier eps like why'd they throw it out the window so quickly like that 💔

Bai Shu? I watched him in so many dramas and not once did I hear him dubbed by others at all. He always dubs himself (from where I've seen him), and this drama is one of them. So unfortunately, you're complaining about him using his own voice which I'm surprised about... Ig you just don't like the way he dubbed himself here 😅 As for me, I can't imagine at all if I heard him dubbed no matter what. I've gotten so used to his voice that I would find it so awkward lol.

Atp Fang Zhou should be up in the support roles. He gets more screentime than a lot of the support characters listed lol. Plus, he's a very important character, very much loved and unforgettable to the viewers as well :D

Like I already had no hope for his appearance, but when you think about him only disappearing (not dying), you'd want more of him as he's one of those Zhou Dilou disciples... I will be sad if he never gets shown after he went missing and they put no closure to his character even tho I alr had no hope to begin with bc like what... he's gone just like that? 😭

Oh, ofc as much as I want Fang Zhou's revival, I can't accept Tang Lici's death~ And I alr don't believe Fang Zhou will come back anyway since he's been long gone... like couldn't they have given them another way where both could live honestly like ughhh that is just too sad!!!! But even as Tang Lici was getting emotional at the thought of reviving Fang Zhou bc that means he will be no more but that at least FZ gets a chance to live, it made me sad even tho I'm sure A'Li won't be able to succeed in this. Well, at least about the princess part, I don't think they explicitly revealed the truth behind if she's faking it or not (thanks to the help of someone, I'm now wondering if she's fake or not, and I so hope she's not). Anyways, can we stop with the (which feels like to me for many ppl out there) misogny...

And you're right. This drama is really interesting seeing all these different relationships and characters where we actually get to see some backstory to them so we can get some understanding of them.

I also would question how he would know the tattoo unless someone close to him actually is secretly from the palace or whatever or Gui Mudan just has methods that can get him to figure these things out lol. And about her secret, whatever it is, I am curious to hear about it since them not telling us about her secret does seem like smth big (but we'll see how that goes). And ofc, will def keep watching. I just love making theories at times as I watch lol.

So... what if the actual princess is Xi Fangtao? 👀 Okay, now that'd be crazy. Well, we finally got to hear Puzhu's secret bc of her, but it seems like she shared hers too but it was never known to us... Well, let's see... Oh, and they may have deliberately showed us her wrist that one time when she put it up to show her bead bracelet to Puzhu, and there was a tattoo on it (ofc, it's her flower one or whatever) which, I am curious, if it means anything lol maybe not but yeah...

Just want to share that my father also loves watching C-dramas and I recommended him this one! Guess what... It was a few days ago and now he's on ep 26! 😍🫣🔥

So I can't be happy seeing Chunji as the princess. Bc she truly isn't if I didn't interpret a scene wrong. I can't fully blame her, but at the same time, this just doesn't seem like her despite what she went thru in the past.

There was a scene where Liu Yan said he would give her a gift and he gave someone a needle which he said she is given a gift, prob to make the butterfly tattoo. They didn't show it maybe bc they wanted it to be hidden and revealed later. I think it's a part that is easy to miss so...

Anyways, assuming Chunji is going with Liu Yan's method (and sadly being manipulated by him), I still didn't expect her to go to such lengths so that she can be happy unlike the past she has lived where she was bullied by others and abandoned by her parents. And becoming the princess is the easiest way for it. While everyone is happy, little do they know this is all fake. And didn't they say impersonating the princess is a huge capital crime or smth? So when I see Chunji as the princess now, I'm like, "Oh, good luck, girl..." I do feel nervous what will come once the truth comes to light.

I just hope Chunji doesn't become evil in the end and comes back to her own principles and be true to herself. Maybe she is scared... Maybe seeing them got her afraid... But it doesn't remove the fact that she is allowing these big big no no things to happen for her own happiness (is it even true happiness?). So yeah, I only hope she stays true to herself and not go down the dark path...

So this is a theory. We will find out if this is true or not. It does fit well with the narrative tho!

And I am curious too about their identities. I still feel like there is some hidden identity about her and Fang Zhou even. I am so curious omg. Could they be immortals in some way, or a god (half if Dad is just normal human which I haven't gotten to yet)? I know, it's a wild guess lol.

Theory that A'Shei can save Tang Lici with her blood is due to her being actually Fang Zhou's sister. Since they are blood-related, and Tang Lici has Fang Zhou's heart crystal in him, this is prob why he can be saved by her. Talk about fate wow! Anyways I can't wait to see all their reactions when they find out about her being Fang Zhou's sister 🥺😭

I noticed he still gets good screentime by ep 20 (now on ep 21). I'm not looking forward to when he gets like none almost tho oof... But anyways, I am loving the second half so far than expected by many negative comments with the introduction of new side characters that I'm actually loving. But yeah. I hate how they introduced us to a psycho brother when we didn't have that in the first half 😭
