So far, if the info isn't wrong, the same director and one of the screenwriters (aside from the author) came from TBOY, so I have high hopes for this! DY definitely could've been better~ I've been still enjoying it a lot tho!

Lmaooo I saw someone mention in the Dashing Youth comment section about how the actors of Dingzhi and Wenjun worked together in another drama but how they don't end up together here either dang... I feel so bad for He Yu's characters. His characters surely deserve better lol

But anyways, might try to watch this just bc of Dashing Youth lol we'll see! I ain't ready to get hit by that SLS with He Yu :( Already feel sooo bad for him in Dashing Youth and felt like he deserved better...

Wow, I found the drama you mentioned where they worked together... Dang, I'm shocked they had another one before this, and the fact that He Yu's character really doesn't end up with her... oof feeling so bad for his characters!

Also are they actually (about Yueyao and Lei Mengsha)? I did read somewhere about it but wasn't sure if it was real! If so, dang, that's crazy!!

Have you seen the sequel The Blood of Youth? Imo, that one's even better! You will surely love that one if you haven't watched it already!! Totally recommend it especially after watching Dashing Youth! <3

Actually, Ye Ruoyi's father was shown a bit late in the drama, the guy named Ye Xiaoying who told Ye Dingzhi how they have the same last name but are not related to each other.

I definitely have complaints for DY tho I really enjoy watching it throughout! Loved the bromance but wished they showed it more (like they always parted ways which made me sad every time LOL). And for a wuxia, I feel like the romance was quite a lot instead oof. Especially with Dingzhi and Wenjun which was a big deal for them (not into their romance bc it doesn't feel like true love). Still have yet to finish this drama tho since Viki hasn't finished airing it there yet! But yes, I prefer TBOY more! Even the bromance / friendship there I feel is stronger. I think you will really love this drama :)

Looked forward to watch him for the first time in AJTL! His role was not expected lol but man he's such a great actor! Can't believe it's his first historical drama too! I am amazed to see his load of upcoming dramas! Most of them I've been looking forward to! Can't wait for them all!!

Wow, this is so random, but I was just looking at Flora Dai's (Ye Ruoyi in TBOY) upcoming dramas and was shocked to learn that she will have 3 more dramas where Li Hongyi is the ML (who plays ML in TBOY too)... Now just seeing that makes me wanna see them as a couple at least once! I think that'd be super cool to see!

Three of the DY cast are actually in IAN which is the main reason why I decided to watch it now 😆 They are the actors of Baili Dongjun (which you obv alr know), Lei Mengsha, and Nangong Chunshui! I also heard about how close the characters of Neo Hou and Wanyan Luorong (who plays Lei Mengsha) are, so I'm excited to see it hahaha~

Also yayayay glad that you watched TBOY!! I'm totally looking forward to Fangs of Fortune too! When I watched the trailer like a few months back, I was intrigued! It is rumored to come out soon this year which is exciting!! I bet it's gonna be so good!!

If you want one with Neo Hou, maybe try I Am Nobody? I just started it a couple days ago and am only on ep 7, but it's reaaally good so far! I think you might enjoy it a lot! It's not historical but it's really not your typical drama, a very unique plot and concept. Even ppl where historical outfits there when it's modern day lol. Anyways you might like it!

Also yessss go ahead and watch The Blood of Youth! It's one of my top favorites!! Also it's great that you watch DY b4 TBOY or else you might already know how DY would end. It's nice to watch TBOY right after DY too. So I highly recommend it~ Watch TBOY once you finish DY (if you haven't already) :)

When I watched LBFAD last year, I was honestly so in awe of him... He's so handsome, but also a really great actor! When I found out that he was also gonna appear in DY, I was really looking forward to seeing how he would play his character! He really gives off such a different vibe in both dramas, which had me stoked and in awe!! And I gotta say, he's definitely one of my favorite characters in DY now hehe~ I really look forward to his future dramas! Let's go, Zhang Chenxiao!!

I just started IAM (I Am Nobody) since I'm still waiting for all the eps for Dashing Youth to come on Viki lol not only bc I was so intrigued after reading the synopsis and watching the trailer, but also bc I found it so cool that not only Zhang Chenxiao is in it, but also Neo Hou and Wanyan Luorong who also play in DY, so I was like, "Why not watch it?" and I'm loving it so far! I haven't seen Zhang Chenxiao yet, but I'm excited for his appearance!!

Okay, wait... I didn't recall Su Muyu and Changhe appearing until they appeared again after many episodes. They really change the entire cast that are guest roles it looks like lol. I don't mind much actually. In fact, I'm even looking forward to seeing how they play their characters! Looking forward to Gong Jun and Chang Huasen especially!!

He really made me fall in love with his portrayal of Lei Wujie in The Blood of Youth. One of my favorite characters out of the dramas I've watched, really... I really look forward to how he will do in season 2. I'm also looking forward to his future works, especially Moonlight Mystique~ :)

Whoever wants to see Neo Hou and Wanyan Luorong again, then I definitely recommend Dashing Youth! I live for their relationship there too hahaha it does suck that they replace him tho in this drama ㅠㅠㅠㅠ But anyways, I can't wait to watch it! Will do it after I finish Dashing Youth!!

Ig Dashing Youth can make up for it since they have a lot of screentime there together, and I live for their relationship xD I have yet to watch IAN tho... It's sad that he won't be in S2, like they should've just released it as an entire season atp oof!

Wow, idek which casting is right atp lol if Dongjun is supposed to be younger than Su Muyu like you said, then the cast should be the younger ones, while the actress of Li Hanyi shouldn't even be there oof... Which one is really right?

The casting looks so confusing... There's the now grown up Li Hanyi playing in this drama, but then there's Sikong Changfeng and Xiao Ruofeng being like the same age as her... But then, Baili Dongjun NOT played by Neo Hou but instead by the older version... Dang, which one's right, and which one's wrong?

Btw, no spoilers for Dashing Youth since I haven't finished that one yet!
