IT REALLY ISN'T THAT BAD.

I was really put off by the show because of all the really bad reviews but not everyone is the same so I decided to move forward and watch it for myself and I don't regret a single minute/second of it. This show truly isn't as bad as people are making it out to be but I also mean; to each their own. I've watched so many dramas and sometimes it's so repetitive and we expect so many things but when people see big named Actors like Park Bo Gum, they instantly have high expectations but I go into shows with the minimal and let it speak for itself. I think when it came to this show, so many people saw big names and instantly wanted to be wowed and was let down because they didn't really pay the story much attention and to me, it was a really nice story. There was a lot not explained and so that may have been a little off putting but it honestly was such a good show, I am not disappointed at all.

It starts off with 3 people that have a dream, your ML who is an aspiring actor, your FL lead who wants to be a huge make up artist and the SML who is in the spot light the and ML is kind of in his shadow, not because he's not good enough but because he's genuinely a good person and just sees the good in everything and everyone and that's a down fall. I'm glad there truly was not a love triangle, because maybe then I would've been pissed but the SML really laid back and it wasn't terrible except for when he wanted the pity because of his downfall but really, he needed to figure it out on his own, he wasn't a bad person though. I loved the ML and FL together, not the chemistry we expect but they had a decent connection and worked well together and I liked it. Now the ending wasn't what we wanted or expected but honestly, I was not disappointed at all, I was hoping and praying that the ML got his big break, that he was finally going to make it and make himself happy along with his family, especially his grandpa and that's literally everything I wanted out of this show and more.

The acting truly was great. I don't expect anymore or any less from Park Bo Gum and Park So Dam, they truly are a beautiful pair in their own acting style and I appreciate it to the end. I also really enjoyed Byeon Woo Seok and their friends. I really liked everyone. The family, the extras, it was all exciting.

The music was fantastic! I love this OST.

I personally may rewatch it down the road but I'm not sure when, I think the downfall of this was like any drama where they ran out of things and needed to spice it up so they did what they did. With the extra drama when he became big and etc; also let's not forget their relationship, but I mean, I understand why it happened and the choices and I stand by it.

Overall, I personally enjoyed it and thought it was binge worthy; I see SOOO many terrible reviews and opinions and honestly, don't let that determine whether this was good or not because it truly was a good story, with good actors and actresses and though not mind blowing, still a all in all good show. I think so many people went into this show with the highest of expectations because of the names and really held it to such a high standard and you really just cannot do that with any show you watch tbh. Every persons piece of work and style is different and you just can't expect the same again and again. I liked that it had a normal feel to kdramas but also it's own unique story like I said. I really did enjoy it.

If you skipped this show, I feel bad for you.

I'm not even going to lie, I've managed to watch this show twice now in a span of a week and I'm still watching clips of scenes here and there throughout the day because I'm happy it's over and ended the way it did but I'm also sad because it ended. I couldn't help but cry and have the tears that I did because everything about this was heart warming and heart wrenching at the same time. I really liked that this show kept you on your toes, I loved that there was never really any huge miscommunication and I just overall loved the relationships between every single person. I don't really know where to start with this but I can honestly say that I was not disappointed at all, like at ALL. I don't typically watch psychological type dramas because I'm really into rom-com's but this had everything you needed and more. You have the male lead that's just fantastic all around, he's an amazing guy, caring, a sweetheart and a bad ass female lead that was born into an unfortunate life and crazy background story and like your typical Korean drama, the two of them are in an entanglement that goes way back per usual which I like :) Gang Tae was awesome, a fantastic brother, hard worker, great friend and Moon Young was sick af, she was tight to me and the brother, ACTOR OF THE YEAR!!! I just thoughtfully loved the story, I loved how it never let me down, I loved how I had to keep going and going because I just needed more.

I can honestly say that every single person in this show played such amazing actors and actresses. The chemistry between the main leads was just wonderful and they did not let me down, I loved the brother, he was fantastic, the emotions I felt in this with the side stories and different kind of personalities was just wow. From the second mom to best friend to even the hospital workers.

I loved the music, it was great timing, calming, wonderful.

Overall, I would definitely rewatch this show, in fact, I have AND I love this show so much that I want everyone in my life to watch it with me. Lol. It was WONDERFUL. Everything about it was not disappointing at all, it had great pacing, it had great acting, the romance was the greatest amount, the family, the psychological part was even absolutely wild. I binged this in less than 24 hours, I chose this whole show over sleep. I'm not even exaggerating, that's how much I loved this whole show.

I read a review stating that everyone needs to stop what they’re doing and watch this immediately and I did as I was told and live with no regrets. This show was absolutely amazing, twist and turns everywhere, a love that was so completely pure I’ve never been more happy to see. And a fairy tail ending that you wouldn’t even believe even though you can predict most of it. I’m literally so Happy with this show and how it turned out and the characters were amazing, every single one. This show was just extremely wonderful and is probably definitely one of my top 2018 shows and I'm so glad I was able to watch it and come back to it. I literally can't stress enough how much I love the two main leads together and even though the story was a little funky, the chemistry was wonderful and the stories were wonderful and the love all around the love was just amazing to me and everyone should be watching this show at least 9 times like I have because there's not a bad thing about this show.

I don’t typically watch a lot of shows like this because the fantasy is a lot but I’m a sucker for a good romantic comedy and though this wasn’t fully intensely full of romance, everything about this story is amazing. Everything about this show was honestly amazing and beautiful; the effects, story, acting; it was great.

The story is about how the FL is bound to this death hotel due to grieving and revenge and it’s like the asian version of ghost whisperer if you’ve seen the American show; they’re helping people get into the light and pass on and be there. Then the ML comes along and he changes up the whole game, it’s cliche with the average Korean storyline when things line up but for some reason, something was so different about this. It was the connection between all the members and every story like wow my mind was blown.

I give credits to this whole cast, IU really stepped up but everyone’s acting was amazing and miraculous and this was worth binge watching because I think I just cried my eyes out a majority rules just because I felt the emotion.

I LOVED THE OST; WORTH EVERY SECOND.

I would watch this over and over and over. This was the drama of 2019, no fails on that one. Loved it.

There was so many times during this show where I literally sat here and said “this show is f*king stupid” lmao. I understand where everyone was coming from with the spoiler of her finding out about her illness because obviously dude is mad crazy and she’s even more wild for forgiving him. There was literally no point to this whole story. It was like watching a Thai Lakorn in Chinese. Lmaooo. It was literally like a slap and kiss except they were actually really sweet but there was kidnapping and betrayal and attempted murder, like bruhhh. Lmao. I binged watched this show because I was bored and had nothing better to do but there was also a huge part of me that has to just keep pushing through because there were sweet moments, I was in it for the kisses for sure and the acting was not terrible at all, but god the show was honestly horrible! Lol. Like I sat here and was like what did I even watch? Like this show had potential and 20 episodes was perfect but I swear, I think I lost brain cells watching this. I’m not a huge fan of the main male lead because I watched him in I cannot hug you and I thought he’d be better in this show but he was not. Everyone else wasn’t bad at all; so if I’m gonna be honest, this show is pretty bad, like it had potential to be good and it ended up crashing and burning. But will I recommend you watch it? Honestly yeah. To kill time, to relieve your curious mind since you probably read millions of reviews in this show like I did; I wasn’t satisfied at all but glad to get it off my list. I wasn’t even disappointed; I was just like not surprised. Lol.

I watched the korean version of this show and I liked it thoroughly for the most part but unfortunately I just could not get into this one and I'm not sure why, so meh. It was okay, but couldn't finish it unfortunately. I heard the FL is really popular in shows but I for some reason cannot get into her but I'm trying because I know there's more shows out there and maybe it's because I don't like the whole oh I'm scared of how I look so I'm going to hide and then my best friend for life portrays me and it has such an intense 2nd lead syndrome going on I can't stand it. It also just has way too many episodes for my liking at all.

It was...okay. Lol. It is what it is, kind of like a Chinese grey's anatomy, no warning, happens out of the blue with the craziest scenario while two people are trying to be in love lmfao. But like a... slow love. Like they know it's love but they're too scared because of their past and everything that's happened and it's understandable but you find yourself skipping the show a lot because once they're like you know what??? I LOVE YOU, then you're like...okay? We get it. You find yourself not caring a lot and just realizing that you have a toxic rich family and multiple people with trauma but no one is doing anything about it truly. Lmfao

Acting was cool though, average, nothing sparking, tear jerker moments.

Music was calm.

Wouldn't rewatch it.

Overall a good watch, probably truly too long for what it was, still have a lot of questions like so the girl was a stalker towards her brother or??? Someone answer this lmfaooo

My first drama of 2023!

Well, I started it in 2022 but towards the end obviously lol. I immediately saw a trailer of this and from then I was kind of hooked, but even though it was like your typical fresh youth drama but the twist is they grow up, duh. Lol. But overall, it was good. Smartest boy around and smartest girl around click and what could go wrong? Well everything tbh. Because they're completely opposite, family wise, relationship wise, just experience in the world but truly? If you really love someone, sometimes, it kind of is enough. Like they go through the ringer, I had to take some breaks in between but this show was kind of a fresh breath of air? Great acting, great OST, great storyline, my first time seeing some of these young rookies and I adored it. I adored the chemistry; I adored how innocent the relationships were until they weren't. I even liked the extra trash drama that costed on by. Lol. But truly, it was a beautifully written story, shot in wonderful angles, way too much make up on our ML but they all truly were adorable.

I may watch this again one day, some day. But right now, was just the perfect amount for me tbh.

Overall, this show was a good one. You think it's your basic business/work life relationship but in the end it's truly not. You had one big corporate big shot and one small business both trying to make it in the world and the FL and ML met in a unique way that you would say is fate and the rest is history really. They go through trials and tribulations because that's what to be expected but the the thing about this drama is the theme is extremely mature and so it makes it really satisfying, but you'll get annoyed by side stories, the secondary characters and how fast things move in some aspects and how some people kind of just disappear so you're like meh.. but overall, it's a good show. I really liked the aspect of no huge complications, they go through some really adult things, such as misunderstandings but nothing major, they go through work overcoming their personal lives apart from work lives and that's just all really real when it comes to a relationship, how to balance work and play and etc.

I loved Dilraba and Johnny together; their chemistry was outrageous, this show was fantastic and overall you really commit to it because of them. They're great together and the skinship was spot on in this so it makes it worth it all. I also liked the sismace going on, it was sweet, but it fell short because I didn't care much for..anyone else except for the sister and nephew really. lol.

Music was nice and creative, definitely a decent ost.

Overall, I wouldn't rewatch it because it was a little long for me, but in the end, I'm glad I watched it, it was a good watch, took over some days, the kisses and skinship and romance was everything and more to me and you really just crave more and the story wasn't bad at all, nothing crazy, it was just really mature, I liked how they would talk things through and nothing was too overdramatic, it was a nice change of pace for me. But the downfall was of course, for some reason, in Chinese dramas specifically that I've seen, the secondary characters get so much screen time, you would think the show was about them and Dilraba nd Johnny were the side characters. lmao

I'm watching the second to last of the series right now and I want to say this is my top 2 out of them but I can't be for sure. I just really liked the ML and the FL together, things weren't toxic or bad in anyway, they were really cute and had great chemistry. The story was a little outrageous and far fetched so I was like dang and they also didn't have to make the end as crazy as it was but that's cool too. Lol. I just really liked how the ML was sweet in his own way and the FL is always great, she's one of my favs and the two clicked. This show is definitely a time killer, nothing to invest your life into but you can binge it easily and quickly when you need something filling and good.

When I started this series, it cracked me up because it's like reading a really cheesy book series that is just plain bad but you can't stop yourself and this is exactly what this show series is. Lmaooo. It's short to watch, easy to watch and there's something about trashy, cringe romance that I like. HAHAHA

This one is probably one of the easiest out of the series to watch to me lol Idk what it was or what it is and it was a little longer than the others but I liked how sweet they were together but also very cringe lmao

I liked the girls out of all people lmao they're all so funny in their own ways.

Music is great!

Overall, this is something to watch when you're bored and have a lot of time!

This one was a little funky, I REALLY liked the romance going on, but like...the dude was a creeper. lol not even in a bad way but I understand how and why he kept messing up because I would've reacted that saaammmee way tbh.

It's not terrible, I liked this one, but I really didn't like the ML so much as the FL, she was hilarious lmao but it was like he's trying way too hard to be a hard ass so there was that. But I liked that they opened up to each other decently okay.

I liked the girls out of all people lmao they're all so funny in their own ways.

Honestly, this show isn't a bad show at all. It truly is one of those, shut your brain off and just watch it to watch it type of shows. If you're looking for something with extreme romance, this isn't it for you. But if you're looking for something that's entertaining, honestly really funny and basically family orientated, then you're in the right spot. It's definitely just the daughter in law and mother at an all time battle because the mom adores her son and the daughter is tough and hilarious but who would've known that the main guy and girl were going to actually fall in love (i MEAN BESIDES US DUH) LOL unfortunately for me, the chemistry wasn't there even though the two are a real life couple. I liked the families and the drama and my favorite was Sunmi because she was just hilarious but other than that, I wish it could've been a little better.

Even though the two main characters were pretty adorable, this show is boring. It's an okay story, the acting also could've been a little better as well. I was like it's a good filler but I barely wanted to watch it at that. I liked the affection and I also liked the mom being accepting as well but the other people and the miscellaneous backgrounds of so many other people and the crazy drama and etc, it was just pointless. I also just watched this because of Cherreen and that was my kick of it all so meh. Not a bad show, strays a lot but wouldn't say not watch it.
