I waited and anticipated this show and I have to be honest and say all in all it was definitely worth it. It was literally a mixture of slice of life, a slow burning romance and family problems all in one and it was really refreshing. Even though it does have a love triangle which I despise, this one was bearable ya know? It shows the sign of first loves, crushes, insecurity and misunderstanding all in one and I adore that because it was just nice to see all sides of the spectrum. Even though the horrible mean girl is a jerk, the two main leads make it worth it, they acted accordingly to their role. I definitely enjoyed this show.

Honestly, I enjoy this whole series. At first I was like meh about this one but I actually really like it and I’m glad that the two click because they go way back in the day ya know? He’s arrogant, she’s funny and I like the two together. This whole series is just fun and when I found out she was a goddess at her job I was like YOU GO GIRL!!! lol this is such a fun series to watch and I’ve watched the other few but now I’m doing this all in order and it’s worth rewatching too. First things first, I'm just going through this whole series and it's truly not bad, it kills my time at work and kills my time at home when I'm doing something, it's also nice I can play it in the background and just listen too. The thing about this series and I'm sorry to those that are offended is that I think March is not a good looking guy at all. In the show though, he was nice, over ambitious but a little aggressive, like he was bold which is cool but I was like dang. But I looked at him every time and I was like ugh, can't you look any better? As far as the FL lead, I liked her, she played the right amount of stupid for this show and it cracked me up. I liked all the families because they were nice and sweet and hilarious might I add. I've seen this story line in every single show imagined. Whether it's Chinese, Taiwanese, Korean or Japanese, it's no different and I'm never going to crush it because it's my absolute favorite of all time. I thoroughly enjoyed this one surprisingly because I'm not a huge fan of Mike but I'm a HUGE fan of the FL that played Taliw, she's amazing and wonderful and I enjoy her in everything I watch. I like the love for the family, I like the bonds but the only thing is I understand why this show usually has 2nd seasons because the ending is always so rushed; between this one and the original with Ariel Lin, they put the 2 seasons combined which is fine but it was just so fast at the same time, that was the downfall. But overall, I enjoyed it, I always do.

This show is honestly hit or miss so I understand where people come form when they said they hate it or they like it. I'm not a huge fan of fantasy or supernatural but I thoroughly enjoyed this show, probably mainly because I like that they're a couple in real life but also because the chemistry was dope between the leads. The good people are really good and you grow to love them and the bad people are well really bad and you grow to hate them basically. A lot of the show is a little confusing but honestly, it's entertaining for the aspect of just watching it and also to let time pass by so honestly all in all, I liked the show. It was pretty worth it. It's cliche in the romance and throw back story but it's also cool with the whole vampire supernatural and antidote type stuff ya know. I liked it, see for yourself though. I don’t know why I waited so long to watch this because I watched so many previews and read so many reviews and heard precious things about this gem of a show and it’s a true gem. I absolutely adored this show and the chemistry between every person. The intensity, the love and the family. I loved that it represented teams so that you know what hard work and success is. Everything was fabulous and the story just kept you hooked and I LOVE RED VELVET SO MUCH THAT WAS AMAZBALLS LOL! This show is just plain wonderful. From the insecurity and on and off and battles between the fighting and pushing through and being one with another. With pushing things to the boundaries of everything and everyone. I, wow. What can I even say? It’s 1AM, I usually rush most shows I watch because I’m so anxious to get to the end because it’s so good and I couldn’t do that with this show. I couldn’t miss a second of it because I was hooked from the first episode until the last and this show was just wonderfully written. I’m not huge on the actors and actresses but they did amazing in this show. Every episode had a story, everything was amazing, all the emotion, the emotional connection, the love the two characters had and the past that connected them. The family love that was there and it was literally like watching a live action Detective Conan which is my absolutely favorite anime in the world. I absolutely adored this show. It made my heart swoon and jump and I needed more and more of it. I wish it would never end because it was that amazing. I don’t even like suspenseful things but dang dude. Watch this show. This goes for both seasons 1 and 2, I would rate it higher if it wasn't for the actress change but I mean it's cool, it was a nice funny show that was literally a slice of life. It made me laugh, feel emotions, I liked the whole feeling if they're a family and bonding just like sisters but also fight like it. I like that everyone has their own stories and there's some suspense between everything. It doesn't even fly by like oh this is rushed, it was the perfect amount of time and character and space. Let me start to tell you right now, this show was my absolute cup of tea and everything about it was amazing. For all of you that have a negative comment, your entitled to your own opinion but for those of you wondering if you should try it out, you definitely should. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but it's absolutely amazing and wonderful. The story between the two main characters were everything I needed and more, didn’t really care for the friends and the side stuff because the love and passion I received from the couple was everything I needed but I appreciated the fillers. I started this show on a late Tuesday night, officially started on a Wednesday, watched it at work and home and skipped other social things just to finish it on a Thursday night. That’s right, two days, 37 episodes, I laughed, I cried, my heart strings were pulled and it was all worth it. This show is amazing. Thank you. Please make a second season where you show the complications of the relationship and what will happen with Fang Yu’s family like especially if you make Fang Yu and Ming Tian married or engaged? but what happens next? Does his mom come back? Does her grandpa approve? Does her brother that needs love get it because he was amazing? Do they become something more? Answer me ???? SEASON 2 PLEASE!!!

IT REALLY ISN'T THAT BAD.

I was really put off by the show because of all the really bad reviews but not everyone is the same so I decided to move forward and watch it for myself and I don't regret a single minute/second of it. This show truly isn't as bad as people are making it out to be but I also mean; to each their own. I've watched so many dramas and sometimes it's so repetitive and we expect so many things but when people see big named Actors like Park Bo Gum, they instantly have high expectations but I go into shows with the minimal and let it speak for itself. I think when it came to this show, so many people saw big names and instantly wanted to be wowed and was let down because they didn't really pay the story much attention and to me, it was a really nice story. There was a lot not explained and so that may have been a little off putting but it honestly was such a good show, I am not disappointed at all.

It starts off with 3 people that have a dream, your ML who is an aspiring actor, your FL lead who wants to be a huge make up artist and the SML who is in the spot light the and ML is kind of in his shadow, not because he's not good enough but because he's genuinely a good person and just sees the good in everything and everyone and that's a down fall. I'm glad there truly was not a love triangle, because maybe then I would've been pissed but the SML really laid back and it wasn't terrible except for when he wanted the pity because of his downfall but really, he needed to figure it out on his own, he wasn't a bad person though. I loved the ML and FL together, not the chemistry we expect but they had a decent connection and worked well together and I liked it. Now the ending wasn't what we wanted or expected but honestly, I was not disappointed at all, I was hoping and praying that the ML got his big break, that he was finally going to make it and make himself happy along with his family, especially his grandpa and that's literally everything I wanted out of this show and more.

The acting truly was great. I don't expect anymore or any less from Park Bo Gum and Park So Dam, they truly are a beautiful pair in their own acting style and I appreciate it to the end. I also really enjoyed Byeon Woo Seok and their friends. I really liked everyone. The family, the extras, it was all exciting.

The music was fantastic! I love this OST.

I personally may rewatch it down the road but I'm not sure when, I think the downfall of this was like any drama where they ran out of things and needed to spice it up so they did what they did. With the extra drama when he became big and etc; also let's not forget their relationship, but I mean, I understand why it happened and the choices and I stand by it.

Overall, I personally enjoyed it and thought it was binge worthy; I see SOOO many terrible reviews and opinions and honestly, don't let that determine whether this was good or not because it truly was a good story, with good actors and actresses and though not mind blowing, still a all in all good show. I think so many people went into this show with the highest of expectations because of the names and really held it to such a high standard and you really just cannot do that with any show you watch tbh. Every persons piece of work and style is different and you just can't expect the same again and again. I liked that it had a normal feel to kdramas but also it's own unique story like I said. I really did enjoy it.

If you skipped this show, I feel bad for you.

I'm not even going to lie, I've managed to watch this show twice now in a span of a week and I'm still watching clips of scenes here and there throughout the day because I'm happy it's over and ended the way it did but I'm also sad because it ended. I couldn't help but cry and have the tears that I did because everything about this was heart warming and heart wrenching at the same time. I really liked that this show kept you on your toes, I loved that there was never really any huge miscommunication and I just overall loved the relationships between every single person. I don't really know where to start with this but I can honestly say that I was not disappointed at all, like at ALL. I don't typically watch psychological type dramas because I'm really into rom-com's but this had everything you needed and more. You have the male lead that's just fantastic all around, he's an amazing guy, caring, a sweetheart and a bad ass female lead that was born into an unfortunate life and crazy background story and like your typical Korean drama, the two of them are in an entanglement that goes way back per usual which I like :) Gang Tae was awesome, a fantastic brother, hard worker, great friend and Moon Young was sick af, she was tight to me and the brother, ACTOR OF THE YEAR!!! I just thoughtfully loved the story, I loved how it never let me down, I loved how I had to keep going and going because I just needed more.

I can honestly say that every single person in this show played such amazing actors and actresses. The chemistry between the main leads was just wonderful and they did not let me down, I loved the brother, he was fantastic, the emotions I felt in this with the side stories and different kind of personalities was just wow. From the second mom to best friend to even the hospital workers.

I loved the music, it was great timing, calming, wonderful.

Overall, I would definitely rewatch this show, in fact, I have AND I love this show so much that I want everyone in my life to watch it with me. Lol. It was WONDERFUL. Everything about it was not disappointing at all, it had great pacing, it had great acting, the romance was the greatest amount, the family, the psychological part was even absolutely wild. I binged this in less than 24 hours, I chose this whole show over sleep. I'm not even exaggerating, that's how much I loved this whole show.
