Title Between Him and Her Spoiler
Reaction re: fight after turning down the deal with Winders in S01E01
Scene: Fight after turning down the deal with Winders.

That fight was real, I mean, true-to-life. It happened and happens and will happen to many, if not all, couples sooner or later; and trust me, it is a very nasty and damaging lover's quarrel.

The thing with this type of lover's quarrel is that the cracks in your relationship finally broke. Imagine holding a mug with cracks in it. You were still able to use it for a couple of years, then one day after picking it up it just broke. Either you already know there are cracks in it, or not, just like how in a relationship, you either know there are already cracks or not.

This particular fight is nasty because you've crossed the point of no return. From hereon, it is going to spiral down to the drainage. Before, you still have hope. You do your best to keep the negatives to yourself and think that it was just you. After a fight like this, you stop doing that and instead start to say whatever it is you've holding down. It's a drum filled with water that blew up because it can no longer take any more of it (or the sh*t).

No matter how much you patch it.

It

only

leads

to

more

hurt

and

eventually

breakup.

For example. The FL accused the ML of being selfish and only thinking about himself. However, we all know that the reason the ML turned down the deal was because he thought of the FL. If the ML was being selfish as the FL accused him to be, the ML would've taken that deal, damn her jewelry.

Correct?

However, for those who haven't experienced this type of lover's quarrel, let me tell you this: they are both right, and they are both wrong, at the same time.

The ML is both selfish and not selfish. The ML is not selfish because he turned the deal realising that the FL's dream, “THEIR” dream, will be sacrificed.

However, the ML is also selfish because like it or not their future is indeed at stake. “THEIR” dream reached a dead-end, and that is putting their future in jeopardy. You cannot live for the rest of your life in dreams, emotions, and love.

This is what the FL realised earlier than the ML, and this is why the FL accused him of being selfish. She already gave up her jewellery designing dream because she wants them to have a better future with him. (And she's paying for their rent and bills, too.)

The problem here is that, once the FL learns the real reason why the ML turned down the deal, she will be hurt deeply. The second issue, they already dropped harsh words, thrown accusations, and so on. It will be very hard for the FL and the ML to reconcile at this point.

Why? For one, how can the FL apologise when she has a point? She can apologise for saying those harsh words and refusing to hear his reason. But the fact still remains that it is better for them for him to accept the deal.

Which she won't be able to tell him again next time because it will definitely appear to him that it is all his fault. Which will spiral into another fight.

Some couples can survive this first major fight, but they can never piece the broken pieces together again. The best way forward to go your separate ways, and maybe, you'll be together again and start something new.

Just like how you don't glue your broken mug and drink from it again (unless you want to risk drinking broken pieces). You throw it and buy a new one.

---

BONUS

Q: Why didn't the ML just tell her the reason when they were fighting?
A: Because he knew what will happen at that point. The FL will think, “So, it is my fault now?”

This is why the ML tried to end their quarrel because he recognised they're in a situation anything they say to each other can be turned negatively even if that was not their intention.

Q: Why didn't the ML tell it in the first place before their fight started?
A: He wants to, but he is trying to find the right moment.

Why? Because he knew how she will react, and her getting angrier was exactly what he was trying to avoid. Remember, they already had a couple of “minor” quarrels before that night. The ML is aware they are currently sensitive about each other's decisions and actions.

Q: So, it is the FL's fault?
A: No.

This whole problem in their relationship started far earlier than the current revelation in their relationship in S01E01. This sudden outburst is just them no longer have enough room for each other.

As they say, it is a ticking time bomb. That final fight in E01 was the bomb reaching :00.

Q: Whose fault is it, then?
A: Both of them.

Q: Is that possible?
A: Majority of fights and breakups in a romantic relationship is always the fault of both parties.

Their case is no different. At some point in their relationship, a single and small crack formed. EP01 started with their relationship having multiple cracks, and long ones at that, and just waiting to break apart.

Wow. Why is there too much fan vs antifan in this show. Can't even find the decent discussions about the story itself.

I have seen a lot of complaints from the fans in Netflix K-contents's youtube channel on the poor promotion of…
Netflix is not a promotional company. They funded this project and thus they get exclusive rights to stream it outside of Korea.

Since they funded it, it is also their call how they want to market it.

Maybe, just maybe, they decided to not do any promotion because they believe in the cast's celebrity clout. If the cast is so big as fans are claiming, then it should attract audiences without them spending another cent for it.

Maybe that is their thinking. I don't know, I don't work for Netflix but that's how business people and investors actually think, as "foolish" as you might think it is. I, for one, am tired arguing with business people and investors who think that way. Been there, done that.

No idea. There are a hundred reasons why.

We just have to accept it for what it is. Or start our own production company.

At the end of the day, business is business. Whatever plans they laid down and which shows get more marketing and promotions, it's their decision. They see something we do not see, especially in relation to their own company.

My only advise, don't think too much about it. That's just how the world works. ;)

That's pretty normal....Your brain has ability to unlock previous memories (with minor details too), when they're…
Yes. There are certain dates and certain places that I remember clearly. I can even remember my memories from 1 to 2 years old.

So, to answer your question, yes it is possible.

Remembering your 1 to 2 year old memories has been proven scientifically also. You can search for peer-reviewed papers about it yourself.

There are people who unknowingly trained their brain how to store and recall memories. I used to use the "palace memory" method myself. It's visual + triggers.

I can recall some of my passwords from 1996. If I focus on it, I remember a few more. If I spend time on it, I can recall even more.

My ex-gf and I usually play memory games for 15 years we've been together. She herself have good memory storage and recollectioe techniques she had no idea about (I had to explain it to her).

In addition to that, the more memorable something was, the more neurons your brain assigns to it. Neurons govern which memories are easily recollected and which ones are discarded. And if you know the techniques, it is also possible to delete memories at will, like you would in a computer.

So, for the purposes of the drama and your question, it is possible. The drama doesn't need to spend time explaining how memories work to support how she can remember things.

Again, you can do your own research about it. If you're serious, there are peer-reviewed papers that you can read about memories, a lot of it. You just have to pay for it, unfortunately. Try sciencedirect for example.

Na In Woo is perfectly cast as Ji Hyuk, especially the broad shoulders and the height (188.6cm!!!!). I do think…
The glasses actually fits the role and his face. Itakes him different, more mature, wiser, and older than the actor's actual age. Which is the image you want to convey in a professional environment.

When he removes it, he becomes just another cute guy. Which is not what you can to show in a professional environment especially if you are being groomed to take over your father's company.

Why there is no couple (main lead) photoshoot or any separate interview or any Netflix games content video???…
It just means that this was a secondary or tertiary drama for the season.

When production companies have multiple projects, they choose which ones are primary and secondary and tertiary. They give more focus on the primary, give more budget for it, even market it. Secondary it so-so, tertiary, totally ignored.

Guys: ~~ Adapted from the web novel "Marry My Husband" (내 남편과 결혼해줘) by Seong So Jak (성소작).…
It is quite normal for an adaptation to be different from the urci material, especially if the adaptation is from literary work to Live-Action.

You can't use that quoted tagline as proof that it is not different. ;) Because it can be different if the waiter for the adaptation wants it to be.

A question: how does one remember a door code to the condo from 10 years ago?
I can still remember some of my passwords from 1996. ;) If I focus on it, I can remember a few more. If I spend more time, even more.

I don't have a photographic memory, in some papers, it was proposed that photographic memories don't exist at all. Instead, what's happening is that there are people who unknowingly trained their brain's memory in storing and recalling information.

For example, I used to use the so-called "castle memory" technique. The underlying technique in it is visual and triggers. You don't memorise things, you assign visuals and triggers.

So, yes, it's possible to remember passwords that long. Unless I'm an alien or super human because I can remember far longer. ;)

Nope, Aimee is correct. Many people can even remember their 1 and 2 year old memories, usually when something triggered it. It has been proven scientifically too. You can search for peer-reviewed papers if you want to learn more. :)

First I saw Kong Mon Jung in such a role. Her roles are usually brighter, in here, she's hurt, in pain, low, probably even depressed.

So many similar dramas have been coming out these days. But I'm not complaining because they have one of my favorite…
They have a knack on releasing a certain theme per season. It started in 2020. Another thing they do is they time the release of certain shows where a certain actor have a regular support role (usually actors who can add more viewers).

Ironically, those two styles actually works.

That's how you write stories, especially drama. :p Otherwise, it's a Disney fairytale.
Also, emotional effect. They know fans will react. Heheheh

No it isn't similar at all, only the time travel aspect is similar.
Not really.

Both is about revenge.
Both is about changing their lives.
Both is giving their husband to the girl their husband want in the first place.
Both falls in love with a man they've been working for in their second chance.
Both died before they woke up in the past.

Think of it as a parallel world. Or some mysterious power saving women from their as*holes husband.

Husband is so bad that he doesn't even feel real. But, I'm hooked.
Trust me, husbands like him are very, very real, and more common than you can imagine. ;)
