It’s not free per se, but it’s on Netflix. Idk why they didn’t list that here.
I'm not the one who started it. It was him who asked, and I replied jokingly and he started to accused me.

This is his exact wording: “Sad you don’t want to support the project through official platforms. Oh well.”

That is an accusation. There's a difference between “you don't want to support” and “can't support”.

If the latter is what he said, I wouldn't have defended myself. But that was not the case. He blatantly accused me of not wanting to support the project, “you don't want to”.

And let's not forget he ended it with “oh well”.

Take note, this was my reply, word-for-word:

---
No one is using Netflix here, so no one have the links. Hahaha :P

Since you know it is available on Netflix, then submit those links so it'll be added. ^_^
---

And I got an accusatory reply that I “don't want to support” them. So… I'll defend myself if I'm being accused of something.

The jade pin Hyangi used to stab the shaman, that was her way to possess the body of San Young. Hyangi knew it,…
It's the finger, that's the correct 5th object. Burning it was the last step. It's like a symbolism for the only remaining part of her body that has not decomposed.

The first 4 objects had to be placed on where her previous victims died. The 5th object, the last remaining not-yet-decomposed part of her body, needs to be burned to complete the process.

After her finger burned, it cut off her connection to the physical world and sealed/freed her spirit (it is unsure if she was sealed or released from the curse).

Let me ask you:

I have a sub for Viu.
I have a sub for iQIYI
I have a sub for Disney+

I watch most shows on those three platforms alone.

Do I have to sub for Netflix too for just one show?

And who are you to judge and look down on others?

If you are so capable of having subs for every single platform out there, why don't you pay for our accounts? Because you see, as much as we want to pay for a sub for every single OTT server out there, we are not rich like you who can do that.

Next time, if you have nothing better to say, just keep it shut. Okay?

Title Revenant Spoiler
Once again, Kim Tae Ri has proven why she's a Rank 1 actor. Special mention was her portrayal of the ghost desperate…
I played that scene multiple times because I can't get enough of the out of this world acting by Kim Tae Ri. I felt compassion on the ghost in that scene. She only wanted to live because she was wronged when she was still alive. And her very strong desire to live, by trying to fight back San Young (Tae Ri's character), was delivered by Tae Ri in a very powerful way. I think Tae Ri's theater acting training and exposure greatly helped her at that moment. She knew how to act the ghost's desires and desperation to live without overdoing it.

Of course, I also commend the director and the cameraman for perfectly capturing that moment, up close and personal. It magnified what Tae Ri wants the audience to feel: this ghost, she was a victim, while it doesn't justify the ghost's murders, it is us humans who turned her that way.

Which is true. Many of humans only think of their own desires and greed, and doesn't care if another human being turn evil because of their actions and words. Yes, we cannot blame others for our own actions, but we also cannot deny the fact that we are who we are because of our experiences.

For me, the moral of this story is that we should always strive to do good. If you truly want to be selfish, then keep your mouth shut instead of speaking hurtful words behind other people's backs. For example, San Young realised how she was killing herself in the final episode because of how people said hurtful words, like that scene with the convenient store manager. If one did not notice, Tae Ri showed her "evil face" at that time, and she was not yet influenced by the ghost then.

Many of us probably reacted that way too after hearing hurtful words from people. Our faces probably showed how we want "kill" them for looking down on us as if us struggling in life was our fault (when it was just what we're given). Or, like it was a sin to have been born in that situation. And that moment was when San Young, without her knowledge until the final episode, that she started to slowly kill herself.

I've been there, too, without me realising what I'm doing. You gave up. You just try to live every day, but you no longer have any desire to live. You are just waiting for death to collect you, and you'll even welcome death with open arms. And the ghost that possessed San Young, she was right. San Young was wasting her life, and she (the ghost) wants to live.

The show may have been about ghosts and suicide. But if we look deeper into it, it is sending us a message that we should strive to live no matter what. Why? Because there were people whose lives ended not out of their own will, rather, they were forced to it. They were victims.

So, to you and me, this show is a strong and powerful message. Fight to live. It is hard. I know, I am struggling myself. I want to give up. I had enough of this life. But, let's fight to live another day. Let's show this world, let's show this evil society that we have today, that we can. If we know people whose lives ended early, either through suicide or they were murdered, let's live for them. They have desires and dreams, let's live for them, and maybe, through us, our society will become better.

Kim Tae Ri's acting in this series was just superior, everything was amazing but my favorite acting scene was…
I rewatched that scene multiple times. It was so powerful. The entire desire of the ghost to live was summed up in that scene. How the ghost was only a victim, and she wants to have another go at life.

I think Kim Tae Ri's theater training and acting was a great help for her for that scene. She was able to deliver a theater type acting. Strong and loud voice, intense focus, precise movements, and appropriate facial expressions.

Theater acting is so different with TV/film acting. Yet for that scene, she was full on theater. It was not method acting, there were no signs of it. She was full theater actor mode, not internalizing a fictional character. And that's what makes Kim Tae Ri so amazing. She doesn't need to be the character, she can deliver it without being the character.

That's what made that scene so powerful. Because she was just theater acting, she was able to deliver it powerfully without overdoing it.

I also applaud the director and the cameraman who captured those scenes. They did not do a continous shot, so imagine the work they did to capture those amazing scenes. They did not waste Tae Ri's theater acting skills.

They all deserve to receive all the awards for 2023.

What about other plot holes? Why did she kill so many people?
She's a vengeful ghost.

1. She kills if it is the wish of her host.
2. She just wants to kill because she wants to. She's a victim when she was alive, and her sister was murdered in front of her.

so how hyangi took over san yong's body once they found the 5 objects correctly and the shaman told hae sang's…
The jade pin Hyangi used to stab the shaman, that was her way to possess the body of San Young. Hyangi knew it, at least after she became a vengeful ghost, and waited patiently to find a host she likes and someone who can find her missing body.

Hyangi, having found a host she likes and a person who she can manipulate to find the objects, led them to believe that the 5th object was the broken jade pin.

San Young's suspicion was right, however, they didn't realise that the 5th object (broken jade pin) was wrong, or rather, a bridge to possess her host directly.

The grandmother had no idea about the broken jade pin.

The real 5th object was Hyangi's finger.

Thank you, Kim Tae Ri, to the cast, the staff, the director, the writer, for this very timely story and message. I hope you'll win awards for this, you 100% deserve to grab all the awards.

I like how they turned the story into literal vampire + symbolic vampire.

The FL is a symbolic vampire. A type of vampire that sucks the love and fun around her and from other people. Focused only on making ends meet, nothing wrong there, but is dead inside. She thinks she is living her life, but the truth is, she's an “undead”.

Meanwhile, the ML, a literal vampire (or half-vampire in the present day), is a vampire who wants to become a human. Who wants to feel love. Who wants to know what it means to live as a human and enjoy life to its fullest.

Two opposites meet each other. Nothing in common with them. They should repel each other… instead, they slowly attract each other.

The real vampire is making the symbolic vampire realise what she is missing. And the symbolic vampire is only making the real vampire firm in his decision to become a human.

Why? The clue is the fact that he can see his reflection only in her eyes. Because that is not only literal, it is also symbolic. He can see himself in her. The kind of life the FL is living is the life the ML had before he fell in love.

That is… just living for the sake of living.

Exactly what the FL is doing. Living for the sake of living.

Seeing himself in her, with the kind of life she is living, is only strengthening his resolve to become a human. He is done with being a vampire. He wants to find meaning. He wants to enjoy life to its fullest. Who cares if he dies? What is immortality if there is no meaning and purpose to it? He wants to love and be loved “until death do us part”.

And here's the FL, getting curious why a vampire wants to become a human. Why love is so important for this vampire. Because, for her, immortality is a gift, not a curse. For her, she can live a carefree life. She doesn't have to worry about paying bills, or what to eat tomorrow, or where to live next month. She can even make a fortune.

But… a vampire, with immortality and no worries in life, wants to become a human because of love? Knowing he will die as a human? Why indeed?

---

While for some the story is cliché, I enjoy stories that add symbolism or deeper meanings to each character, like as I've mentioned, the ML can see his reflection in the FL's eyes is both literal and symbolic. Or, how the FL is a symbolic vampire; and how the two of them are attracting each other instead of repelling.

Good job. Love it!

Series finale = a different kind of heart-wrenching ending. It was so painful.

I just watched the ending part twice now, and I still can't imagine myself willing to let go of all those memories. It is what made who we are today. It defined our life. The decisions and directions we took. The love and relationships that gave us strength to push on despite the hardships in life.

Memories are everything.

Without those memories, then you become a totally different person. And for those people who still have their memories of you intact, it will be very hard for them when they see you. They will have to treat you as a person who got into an accident and had memory loss.

Familiar with real-life stories where a person loss memories before they met their spouse/bf/gf? It's not the person that finds it hard, it is those who remembers. If they choose to tell you the memories you've lost, that's the only time it will be harder for the person. Like in those real-life cases where they're already married. But if you're just bf/gf, you can still end it and have a fresh start… if you want to.

I got confused… series finale.
What did I miss? Did she write a letter or something, hence, they all know what to do with her? O_O

And their patience was amazing. It was as if they planned it all on how to insert themselves in her life without making it creepy.

Or, it was just assumed so they don't have to film those scenes?

Title See You in My 19th Life Spoiler
She is remembering her past lives because of the extreme hatred in heart and mind.1. We don't know yet if she…
I'm suspecting there was also an “unfinished business”. It could be before the FL's 1st life, or probably the same time period.

It's not clear if he was the FL (1st life)'s brother, friend, lover. But he shows some anger towards the ML.

The ML's mother is a total mystery. She knows the rule and how much she can risk (like how she embraced her son). And yet, she still is under the curse of remembering her past lives.

The other thing that is not clear is if they can reveal themselves to other people who can remember their past lives, especially if they've met before. Will they suffer too?

Or, maybe, they figured out how long they can stay acquainted in their new lives without suffering the repercussions of revealing themselves. Like the ML"s mother, she left. And how MG hinted he never planned to stay long around the FL.

Going back to the FL's 1st life, them three were probably related to each other, and something happened during that time period which started their cursed reincarnation, and only met together in the FL's 19th life. Which, ironically, they also met everyone else from the FL's 1st life.

I don't know how they'll fit all of those in the last 2 episodes.

The 2nd son's wife is an epic b***** LOL. She's not "because she's rich" or "because she thinks highly of herself". She's just a b*****. She makes an issue out of everything. I wouldn't be surprise if her husband falls in love with Du Ri An because of her. The very thing she's trying to prevent. ROFL.

Title See You in My 19th Life Spoiler
The way I understood episode 10…
She is remembering her past lives because of the extreme hatred in heart and mind.

1. We don't know yet if she successfully killed him, but it appears that he killed her successfully on that bridge.
2. I think it doesn't matter if she successfully killed him or not on that bridge. Her bitterness is in the deepest part of her soul. That's how deeply rooted her anger is.
3. This deep bitterness is what's fuelling her ability to remember her past lives. It is deeply embedded and rooted in her soul, it is acting like a source of energy to make her remember her past lives.

So, to resolve this, she needs to remember her 1st life. By remembering it, she will have full access to that deep bitterness that entangled itself into the roots of her soul.

Once she has access to it, she can finally face it head on and take action. That is… to forgive.

Her deeply rooted bitterness in her soul is so powerful, only forgiveness can destroy it.

This is why, she fell in love with him on her 18th and 19th lives. It is an opportunity for her. A rare opportunity because all the key persons from her 1st life are also in her 18th and 19th lives.

It was like the heavens is giving her the final test. Did she learn anything from her 2nd to 18th lives? Did she grow as a person?

Will she finally be able to forgive so she can find peace and move on?

Since Korean Buddhism did not adopt the Nirvana doctrine from other Buddhism sects, as far as I know, if she makes the correct decision, she will stop remembering her past lives beginning on the remaining of her 19th life.

She will suddenly forget. And more likely, everyone she made contact with in her 19th life, and revealed about past lives, will also forget.

Once she lives her remaining years in her 19th life, she will finally be judged if she still needs a 20th life, or if it is time for her to enter heaven and put into a close her reincarnation cycle. (In a way, that's the Nirvana doctrine from the other Buddhist sects.)
