Title Dr. Romantic Season 3 Spoiler
Secret. Hahaha.
I'm suspecting Master Kim is having a hallucination. He was remembering an incident which happened before.

Regardless, it's definitely not the assembly woman. Her men called her to update about the situation, so that means she's nowhere near the hospital.

Okay it's absolutely wild to me that they are asking what looks to be a 12 year old kid to sign a consent form…
Yep. AFAIK, it's not allowed here in my country as well… the Philippines. They have to find an adult relative.

Wow! S03E15! They just upped the level of OR/ER drama!
It's 3 simultaneous major operations. The third one was even far more major… neurosurgery.

Just watched this a few days ago and finished it tonight.

7 out of 10 as far as the topic “prosecutor” is concerned. They gave that expectation.

It's more about comedy and light plots. But, the expectation from the title changed everything. I want to give it an 8 but… I can't make myself to.

It was fun. I give you that. I laughed.

So the soldiers were standing their waiting for them to bid each other's goodbye without shooting a single bullet?!!!…
Well, I guess if fantasy is lazy writing, then Lee Yeon levetating and showing phoenix wings instead of nine-tailed fox tails is lazy editing?

Seriously, it's fantasy and mythology, it is not soft sci-fi, and definitely not hard scifi.

they told s3 will also be there so the villan gonna be original mountain god. will past ans future collide for…
Of course the past and the future “will collide”. :p The past is the past because we are in the future.

I mean, 1938 will become 1939, 1940, 1941, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2023. There is no escaping from that.

What is this stupid conflict in ep 14!?I am irritated by Cha Eunjae too! I understand she is not wrong but how…
The conflict is needed to drive the purpose of Season 3, Master Kim's worry that they started to worship him, and when he's gone, they will all go down in the drain. And his plan on how teach them that lesson.

Woo Jin already made that mistake. He almost got killed Eun Tak in the process because he only thought about himself and how he can act like a hero (a.k.a. sacrifice himself). His payment for that is the slim possibility of a complete healing of his hand. He learned his lesson.

Unfortunately, Eun Jae is thick-headed. Even after Master Kim reminded her that her boyfriend was boycotted, she still chose her stupid pride.

Even when her boyfriend told her that her method is what exactly she was whining about (thus making her a hypocrite and a fool), she still chose her pride.

Doldam's overall director is the same, he started to worship Master Kim. What will happen to them if he's gone?

Eun Jae is whining about “her dreams for the trauma center”. She did not realise that her actions can destroy her precious dream, bringing everyone else with her.

And that's why the conflict is needed, because, as I've said in the early episodes, Season 3 is about teaching them these lessons.

LOL. You would think she finally understood it, but NOOOOOO, her pride is far more important than anything else. What…
You see, if you are right, it will be revealed at the proper time without you doing something you will regret for the rest of your life (and giving you a very bad mark on your records).

Kids, the lesson here is to not become Eun Jae.

LOL. You would think she finally understood it, but NOOOOOO, her pride is far more important than anything else. What…
Another thing.

Eun Jae talking about “her dreams”. Well, the person he called out in the open has been there long before her. Who knows better about “her dreams” other than the original team?

What happened to the Korean culture of hierarchy and respect?

Eun Jae suddenly turned Western. Lack of respect to the hierarchy. Lack of respect to her senior in the hospital.

She didn't even flinch when she learned someone died because she was not there.

Yes, yes, Dong Joo's methods are not acceptable either. However, since Eun Jae was acting “holier than thou”, she completely failed the moment she called his superior (superior in many ways) out in the open, and agreeing on a boycott. And even though her own boyfriend and Master Kim already told her what she actually showed, she still chose her pride.

Remember this kids… if you seriously think that you are right than those higher than you, boycott is never the solution. Prove that you are right by being the better person. Stay within the rules and processes. Keep your heads down. Do not disrespect anyone.

LOL. You would think she finally understood it, but NOOOOOO, her pride is far more important than anything else.

What happened to all the “patient first” and “I'm holier than thou” she was whining about? She is a complete HYPOCRITE.

All of them deserves to be fired.

If your job is not to save people, then sure, boycott all you want, go organise a hunger strike, or a street rally, or whatever.

But, people rely on you. And there is a major emergency and she can not make a stand? She even bothered to listen to that a***hole?

If you want to act “holier than thou” and “I am right”, make sure you do it to the end, make sure you live by it. Otherwise, it makes you a completely fool and a hypocrite.

LOLWTFBBQ

Too bad for the actress, at this point, no one probably wants to see her character in the next season, if ever there will be one.

Dang. He said exactly what I've said since the first few episodes… they are trying to become Master Kim.Master…
However, there is also a challenge for Dong Joo here. His character, his experiences, his training in the military, and his studies abroad, all led to him being by-the-book. He has forgotten that they can be flexible. He has fogotten to communicate and be a human being.

Dong Joo's stay as temporary head is like a probationary period for him. Is he ready to become a leader / manager?

You see, a Leader is born, and a Manager is made. No matter what our qualifications may be, if we were not born to be a Leader, and we did not learn to be a Manager, then we will fail once we take on those roles.

This is the challenge for Dong Joo, and this is why he is still on probation. He still needs to prove himself.

And, let's be honest here… most, if not all, who trained under Master Kim and worshipped him, are similar. Dong Joo, Woo Jin, Eun Jae? They're all the similar. They all are mirroring Master Kim.

Dong Joo just learned earlier that he can never be Master Kim, and there will always be only one Master Kim. However, he still mirrored the other aspects of Master Kim. Is he aware of it? Maybe, maybe not.

Dong Joo and Woo Jin clashing, think of it was two Master Kim (wannabes) clashing. They copies SOME of the traits of Master Kim, but they don't have the mind of Master Kim. So, in the end, seeing each other, the person they actually see is themselves. Dong Joo is seeing himself in Woo Jin; and Woo Jin is seeing himself in Dong Joo. (Not to mention, whatever it was that happened to them before.)

Eun Jae? Same story. She's lucky Seo Jung was not with them; so right now, we're just seeing a male Master Kim vs a male Master Kim.

Dang. He said exactly what I've said since the first few episodes… they are trying to become Master Kim.

Master Kim is right to let someone else handle the Trauma Center. It is for them to learn:
1. He won't be there for them all the time.
2. They need to learn to work with other people.
3. They need to understand the importance of their decisions.

#3 is the most important. First it was Woo Jin, he damaged his hand because he wants to be Master Kim. He makes decisions based on “What Would Master Kim Do?”.

Now, it's Eun Jae's turn. She also makes decisions based on WWMKD, and forgetting that her decisions can mean life and death for anyone around her.

I definitely love Seasons 3 better than Seasons 1 and 2 combined. Not only it is grounded in reality… it is also filled with life lessons.

The Season 2 staff needs to wake up. They are not Master Kim and they will never be. And they need to stop making decisions on their own, based on their emotions. Because next time, someone you hold dear will be the one who will pay for it.

Imagine this, if Woo Jin was the one in that accident and Eun Jae was stuck in another operation, WWEJD (What Would Eun Jae Do)? Is she going to leave that operation and save Woo Jin? Or is she going to finish her operation, and then quit being a doctor because Woo Jin would not have died if she stayed in the Trauma Center?

Same with Woo Jin. His hands. What if it was Eun Jae? They lack staff and skilled Doctors. There is only Woo Jin who can save Eun Jae but he damaged his hands because of his heroism? Eun Jae dies.

This is why, just a reminder, Master Kim was so pissed when Woo Jin disobeyed the rules on rescue. This is why Master Kim was so angry when he saw Eun Jae in Doldam's OR.

And this is exactly why he chose not to lead the Trauma Center.

LOL.ML was very careful since episode 1, suddenly in episode 12, he's very clumsy? Come on!
He only noticed the similarities AFTER he touched the body.

Yet when the teacher was killed, he did not touch her body.

In both cases, it was obvious they're dead. Yet, he made a mistake in touching the bloodied body but not the teacher's body.

After that, it was only when he noticed the similarities.

Also, there is nothing else that should shock him at this point.

1. He saw his future murdered body.
2. It was not the first dead body he saw.
3. The way he acted when he saw the teacher's body, it hints that he's the type of journalist with experience in reporting crime and seeing gruesome murders … and dead bodies.
4. The way he stood when he saw the teacher's dead body tells us that his brain is working, thinking.
5. He did the same when he saw the body of Soo Ae's older sister, he just stood there, thinking.

After he touched the bloodied body of his student, he stood there, thinking. He was not in shock.

Because he stood there to think, to analyse, it was only then that he noticed the similarities with the way he found his future body.

Which made him to think deeper. His brain started working even more. He was not in shock.

He even realised the body was moved. The largest pool of blood was inside the room. When he saw that, it was when he saw the shoes and made a connection to his future body.

The only conclusion was: he fell into a trap.

Which also, no doubt, brought him to:
1. His future body was moved and positioned that way.
2. He finally noticed his future body had less blood in the scene, similar to the dead student. (Becausee the boy's body was moved as well.)
3. It is another signature of the suspect.

If I take a guess:
a. The killer's signature for women is to tie them with a red rope/string.
b. The killer's signature for men is, well, that. Move their body, position it, and arrange the shoes.

The ML probably came up with the same conclusion.

If he was shocked, he was shocked after he realised he fell into a trap, and how the suspect probably have different signatures depending on if the victim is male or female.

Which still makes his “shock” mode _after_ he touched the bloodied body, which there is no doubt he is fully aware not to touch, because he never touched the teacher's body. And obviously, he also knew both were already dead (hence he did not check the teacher's body) yet he made a mistake in touching the bloodied body.

All things considered, all angles taken into consideration, he shouldn't have made that mistake.

What's weirder is, he made two mistakes on that day.

So, you know… this was intentionally done without thinking it through, just to create a new tension in the story.

LOL.ML was very careful since episode 1, suddenly in episode 12, he's very clumsy? Come on!
You have to consider the sequence of scenes.

1. He was not in shock when he pockets the matchbox with the note. Yet, he already knew how it almost got him into trouble.

He only got away with it because he knew how his father thinks.

2. He was not in shock when he saw the student's body.

3. He was not in shock when he touchd the bloodied body to check the student's pulse.

4. He only entered into shock after noticing the similarities of the body's position and his shoes.

5. Seeing his own body, murdered, is the “shockiest” thing in his life at that moment. Nothing should shock him anymore.

6. It was not the first time he saw a dead body.

7. Him being fine with seeing dead bodies implies that he is the type of journalist who had an extensive experience in covering / reporting crimes … and seeing dead bodies.

8. Even he himself realised the two mistakes he made.

a. He checked the scene and he saw the largest pool of blood was inside, which means the body was moved.
b. Then he noticed the similarities of the body's position and the shoes with his future dead body.
c. He immediately realised he fell into the suspect's trap.

Thus, when the detective arrived, he just looked to the detective, looked back at the body. He knew he made a mistake in touching the body.

d. He also realised his other mistake: the matchbox with the note he pocketed earlier.
e. So when the detective started to check him, he did not do anything. Because again, he knew he made a mistake.

Nope. He wasn't in shock. He was thinking. Playing everything in his head.

Maybe someone is asking, “Why did he not run if he was not in shock?” Because that was when he noticed the similarities in body position and the shoes.

His brain started working. As I mentioned, he started playing in his head everything. Making sense of it all.

Also, think about this, Koreans only have a few ways in showing “shock”. However, the ML did not do any of those. Which means he was not in shock.

Here's another, compare his “standing still” action with the way he acted in other scenes. When his brain is working, he just stands still. When he saw the teacher's body, he just stood, did not even touch the body.

So, even if we say that he was indeed shocked because he noticed the similarities with his future dead body, remember that he noticed it AFTER he touched the body and got blood on his hands. So, it was not because of shock, they intentionally made him that way for that scene, which doesn't make any sense.
